Alex felt his hands under her shirt and didn't know what to do. She loved the feeling of his hands on her skin, but she didn't know how to react. She stood there confused, kissing him back, letting what happened happen, she needed to take a breath, and her lips were slightly sore, she started feeling faint from holding the time spell this long...she didn't want to, but she slowly broke the kiss, kissing his upper lip lightly as an apology.
She wished she could see once more, so she could see his face, the look in his eyes. She pressed her head against his chest again and held to him tightly.
"Wow..." was all she could say. She smiled as she listened to his heart beat, as it slowed to normal pace, to think it was her who made it race as fast as it was. "Oh...you have to get to class..." she whined. She started rocking back and forth in his arms. "And if i hold this spell any longer i'll pass out." she said with a little laugh. She took one of her hands and found Jack's cheek, held her hand there and kissed his cheek. "I really needed that...Thank god for you, Jack." she whispered in his ear.
"Now...will you assist me to my chair? I still can't see, and i am afraid i am going to hit somthing...then you have to get to class..." she said with a smile.

Her skin was warm against his hand, her passionate kiss was heaven. Jack was lost to this world. He felt her begin to pull away, and disappointment swamped him. Only his need to breathe convinced him to let her pull her kiss away, and only after she kissed his upper lip apologetically.
He said nothing, too busy regaining his breath, as she laid her forehead against his chest and hugged him tightly. Numb with disappointment and the passion of moments before, he slid his hand out of her shirt, making sure to take as long as he could and tickling her back with his fingertips as he did so, absently trying to force her to kiss him again. He listened without really listening as she whined about his going to class. Stupid, stupid, worthless class.
He felt her hand on his cheek, and his heart started racing again. Maybe she would- She kissed him on the cheek, sending a small wave of warmth over him that made up a little for the disappointment of making the moment end when it had just begun.
"I really needed that...Thank god for you, Jack." she whispered in his ear. His heart raced and shivers went down his spine. Dang, she was sexy.
"I know." he replied, his voice still husky from the kiss. He took her elbows and led her to her bed - he knew it was hers from the night before - so she could sit down.

Jodi teleported in to the dorm room to hear Alex and someone else in the other room. grabing her book "blood and chocolate" off her night stand she teleported away to find somewhere for peace and quiet.

Jack was startled by the sound of his name being paged over the intercom. He jumped, eyes wide, and looked questioningly at Alex.
"Well, I guess that's as good a reason as any for me to get going." He chuckled. He bent over her, pecked her quickly and tenderly on the forehead with a whispered "Bye, Princess", and left the room, a feeling of unease in his stomach.

Alex's heart was a blaze... She felt his fingers brush down her back as he lowered his hands to her waist from under her shirt. She shivered, she yerned to kiss him again...for him to kiss her deeply...but she restrained herself.
"I know" he said in an almost irrisistable busky voice. She lightly bit her lip...she couldn't hold this spell any longer...she would pass out. She started to wobble in weakness.
"Jack..." she muttered. Then she felt his hand take her elbows and led her in the room. She was eased down to her bed, and she heard on a loud anoying voice.
'Jack Trike please come to the office.' She moved her head and tilted it in confusion.
"Well, I guess that's as good a reason as any for me to get going." he said as he softly chuckled. She felt his lips on her forehead and leaned into his kiss. He backed away slowly as he whispered "Bye, Princess" and she heard the floor creak under him and the door close. When the door shut... Alex's hand flew to her lips...her other hand to her chest, trying to slow her beating heart.
"Oh my god...I never thought that was possible..." she muttered. She felt her way around her bed and found her spell book. Not being able to see, she held her hand over it and chanted "Mystra visualous" and what was in the book was filed into her mind. She scrolled around the spells in her mind and found the one she needed and chanted "Visualous Extratemp" and slowly her vision was restored, colors blinding her till her room filled her eyes, everything was so bright...she squinted and covered her sore eyes.
Then she realized to late that Jack was called to the office. She paniced. "No!" She stood only to have her legs fail her as she fell to the floor. "s**t! Why is it that spell the one that weakens you? And at a time like this!!!" she shouted. She couldn't move./...she was also still weak from the time spell unbroken. Fear filled her heart. "The voice on the intercome spoke in the time spell! Oh No...Mr.Smith found a power!" she tried to pull her self to the door, only to pass out from not undoing the spell..."Spell reversal" she gasped as she lost contiousness.

Alex ran into her room and closed and locked the door, tears falling from her eyes. She slid silently down the door and sat there on the floor as she clutched to the book. So much was just cast on her...so much was given. She looked at the book and gasped when she saw her name 'Alexandria Brook' apear engraved into the book in gold letters. She let the tears fall freely.
"What have i done!" she cried. she didn't stop the tears from falling till a little green piece of paper stuck out of the back of the book. Alex looked to the paper and slipped it out of it's spot and read it.
"Dear Alex..." she started reading aloud. "It is your aunt... Liz. Please take care of the store for me...If you have found this book, and this letter, i am dead. Please the store belongs to you now. And keep this book from others eyes...please i know the other astra has died...NighShade took his power. I know that. The book told me. But don't lose hope, you must find the Soren and keep him or her safe. Don't let NightShade get to the soren. The Soren is you last hope. Please keep safe your self, Your aunt Liz." and again the tears started to fall. Alex wept so much...she passed out there in the door way.

Jodi teleported the her dorm with a smile on her face. when she looked around the room she saw the plant on her night stand. she walked over to it. "hello, what's your name." Jodi sat on her bed, the plant shifted it's leaves a little exteneding one of it's branches like it was extending it's hand to be shook. Jodi laughed and shook the branch likghtly so not to break it off. and the plant spoke. "My name is Mary nice to meet you." retracting it's leaves it went really still. "are you ok Mary?" Jodi asked. Mary covered Jodi's mouth with her leaves as to shh her. "listen" Jodi closed her eyes and tried to hear what mary was hearing but she didn't. Jodi took Mary's branch from her mouth and whisperes. "what do you hear I just here snoring." Mary took her branch back that's what I'm saying the girl in the other room was crying next to the door but I tried to talk to her but she couldn't hear me and she fell asleep infront of her door." the smile jodi held and faded away as she spoke. "oh... I hope she's ok I'll go and look thanks Mary I'll be right back." with those final words Jodi teleported in to the next room
Jodi landed softly in the other room to see her friend Alex asleep against the door hugging a book. Jodi slowly walked up to Alex and touched Alex's arm and teleported her to her bed. taking the book from her arms she sat it on Alex's nightstand. thinking to herself 'there now she won't hurt so much in the morning.' and as quietly she had came in the room Jodi teleported back to her room the same way.
Teleporting in to her room Jodi saw Mary was asleep. slowly walking to her bed so not to make Mary, Jodi looked at the clock and saw she had some time before her next class and sat down in her bed and grabed a ned book out of her bag seeing that she finished Blood and Chocolate. Opening to the first page Jodi forgot the world and got lost in another book.

Alex woke a few hours later. She found she wasn't on the floor and that the book she so dearly clutched to her chest was gone. She quickly sat up to see that the leather bound book was on the endtable to her side. She sighed. Taking the book in her hands, she opened up the fragile pages and started reading, turing on the light to see better. The water stain pictures were beautiful! But some held horrifying secrets she didn't want to know. One was of a beautiful woman who knelt by a clear lake, a man kneeling beside her , the moon and stars reflections on the water told her the two were the astra's. But then she saw in the trees shadows behind them a figure with glowing green eyes and a glowing knife in his hands. Alex gasped at the shadow's face. "NightShade!"
There was a knock at her door. She quickly pushed the book under her bed to hide it and ran to the door. She opened it to only gasp. It was Mitch, and he looked terrible. "Mitch! What happend?!" She took his arm and shoulder and helped him into the chair by the door. He was pale, and his once toned skin was now loose and wrinkly and weak.
"Alex...NightShade..." he was gasping for air as he reached out for her. He was so weak he could barely stand, he tripped over his own feet as he tried to move to her. "NightShade...coming...hide me please!" he forced through labored gasps. Alex didn't know what to do. Hide him!? Hide him where!? She looked to her large walk in closet that she shared with her room mate.
"Come here." she said, she walked him to it and quickly sat him down in the fold out chair that was there. "Stay here." she said. And as she left the closet, all she could here Mitch say was 'Thankyou...i'm so sorry...Thankyou...please forgive me...' over and over and over. "Shh. Stay quiet." and then she quickly sat on her bed and grabbed her CD player, glancing at the clock...8:00PM! What! How long did i sleep!?
There was a knock on her door. "Who is it?" she asked, she knew who it was, but tried her best to stay calm.
"It's Principal NightShade! Let me in!" he shouted. Alex almost screamed no but she had to let him in or he would know Mitch was there. She 'calmly' opened the door for him. He stormed in, his hands cloudy with smoke as his fingers burned. "Where is he!" he shouted. Alex pushed herself into the wall to avoid his buring fingers.
"Who!? What are you talking abou-" NightShade pushed his buring hands into her shoulders, she cried out in pain.
"Where is he!!!" he screamed, his eyes glowing red as fire escaped his ears, and litteraly. Fire...Mitch's power...No!
"I don't know what you're talking about!" she cried out. He must have believed her, for he dropped her, her shoulders burned and her shirt sleaves gone. She was crying...she remembered what she heard him do to her aunt...visions of what he did to Chris and what he tried to do to her flashed through her mind. He was after Mitch now...and thought he was evil to her since as long as she could remember, she couldn't let Mitch see the same fate Chris did.
NightShade stood looming over her. His hot gaze filled her with such fright as she looked away. "Please, I don't know what you're talking about!" she sobbed, but the tears were for many other things...not just her pain. NightShade bent over and looked her in the eyes.
"Mitch...he has stolen something important from the school and I need it back, he also failed to complete a task that was to keep him in school...so he is suspended...if you see him, bring him to me." He said in his bone chilling voice. Alex looked away from him as he laughed softly. "Who knows, if you bring hiim and what he took to me, i might lay off of you for a while." and as he exited, his evil laugh filled her ears. The door closed and Alex stood and walked to the closet crying, wiping her tears as she went. Opening the door she saw Mitch panting in pain. She knelt in front of him, placing caring hands on his chest and recited the spells to heal his wounds and returen his age back.
"Thank you..." he said as he returned back to normal. "Do I have my powers back?" he asked as he lifted his fingers and snaped, trying to cause a flame. Nothing happened.
"No.." Alex said as she held as many tears back as she could. "I...can't restore power...Oh Mitch!" she needed to cry...she didn't care if Mitch saw and she didn't care if he used it against her. She just knelt in front of him and cried continuously into her hands.
What she didn't expect was that he would kneel infront of her and wrap his arms around her and comfort her. "Shhh" he muttered as he held her in assuring arms. "It will be alright."
"I want Jack..." she cried. "Where is he! I want Jack!" she knew how selfish and childish she sounded...but after everything that had happened to her that day...she wanted to fall into Jack's embrace and cry, feel his lips on hers... "Where is he?"
"I'll go find him." Mitch muttered as he lifted Alex in his arms and placed her on her bed. "You stay here and keep your door closed. I'll go get Jack," and with that he left. To go find Jack.

waking up Jodi heard voices in Alex's room, but she just sat on her bed a listened. Jodi couldn't hear every word. getting up off her bed Jodi put her ear to the door, and when she heard the door close and heard Alex's bed squeak she teleported in to Alex's room. "Hi" looking over at the burns on Alex Jodi gasped. "are you ok?" Jodi slowly walked to Alex's bed. reaching her hand out side the nearest window a branch of an aloe vera plant droped a few leaves and the plant shunk back to it's normal shape on the ground below. "this'll help" scraping the gel from the leafs Jodi smothed the gel over Alex's burns.

"Thanks" Alex said as she winced at the burns as Jodi placed the aloe on them. "NightShade stole Mitches powers and attacked me." she explained. "Do you know what time it is by chance? Or what period it is?"
She looked to the book poking out from under the bed and sighed. "I just helped Mitch...after all the s**t he put me through..." she shook her head and cried again, wishing she could just stop. "Why does all this stuff happen to me?!"

"your welcome^_^" Jodi finiched butting the gel on Alex and teleported to her closet and came back with a new top. "here" hands it to Alex. "oh I'm sorry about Mitch's powers" Jodi says trying to confort her friend. "I'm sorry I don't know what time it is. I was kinda asleep so I don't know what period either ^^;;"
Jodi huged Alex "it'll be ok, and helping him after all he did just means your a better person and you have a heart when it's needed ^_^" Jodi felt bad for her only friend, but she would never wish for any of this to happen to anyone. "I don't know why this is happened, but just think what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and after this u'll be the strongest person I've ever known" Jodi laughes and pats her friends back.

Alex laughed softly at Jodi's remark on how she would be the strongest person she would ever know. "I hope so..." she said. "If i am not then i have no idea how i will battle NightShade." she said sadly. "Such terrible things happen to me...i wish i was normal...I want Jack..."
Mitch walked in slowly as he stood at the door way seeing Alex saddly dip her head. "She is there Jack." he said pointing to her.

Jodi sees Mitch come in with Jack. "I'll be on the school ground if you need me." Jodi gives Alex a finally hug and telelports to the school grounds.

Jack paused in the door way of the room, a tsunami of emotions whipping over him like a wave of nausea, ever accompanied by that warm rush that he only experienced in Alex's presence. For two weeks he'd been free from her spellbind, but now he was back, and it was back, stronger than ever. The desire to pull her into his arms and kiss her was overwhelming. He swooned where he stood, catching himself on the doorframe before it became to obvious. After a momentary but draining battle with his emotions, he managed to pull himself together -for the moment. What on earth is wrong with me? he thought wildly as he forced himself to control his breathing. The battle was barely noticeable, before he was once again in control, though his fingertips were tingling and he felt as though he were in a light fog.
He noticed Alex's face, still wet with tears, and rushed to her side with honest concern. "Princess, are you alright?!" he cried worriedly, kneeling on the floor before where she sat on her bed. "What happened?" he asked gently, brushing the tears from her cheeks with his thumbs and pushing her bangs behind her ears with brotherly affection.
