Rana woke up in the morning, and began going throughout the inns, looking for anyone who was injured or could use her help. She came up to anyone who looked like they weren't about to attack her and asked if they needed healing. She knew...if she couldn't get more inland soon, she wouldn't be allowed to get another job.

Vincent woke up with a rather loud stomach. Wandering through the market square, he snagged some fruit from a fruit stand he had identified from the night before.
Munching on an apple, he stalked around town, taking in the sights. He passed a rather different looking inn, the 'Deaf Mule Inn', and spotted the man from the ship earlier. He had a rather odd feeling towards this man...He seemed somehow different from everyone else, even from a distance.

After seeing the sun rise she didn't feel any better she didn't like the dark but it was preferable to light, less chance of being recognized. Before she went down to breakfast she practiced with the small dagger that she had, she wasn't very skilled but skill came with practice that much she knew and she couldn't afford not to know what she was doing. During one of her routines the knife managed to slip and cut her hand a good bit, not the worse she'd had but it wasn't tiny either, she washed it up as wel as she could and wraped it until the bleeding stoped. Fortunatly unless someone was looking pretty close it wouldn't show seeing as how the sleeves of her shirt were a bit too long. It promised to be an interesting day. With a last frustrated sigh she headed down to get something to eat.

Looking up as she ate, she saw the girl who had sailed with them coming down the stairs. Extending her magical senses somewhat, she nodded to herself, gesturing for the serving boy from the night before. Moments later, he was headed towards the kitchen, several more coppers of his own, and a full silver for the owner. When the girl sat down, she would shortly thereafter have a good-sized breakfast served to her.
Whistling softly to himself, he watched out of the corners of his eyes as he prepared his horse. Noticing the boy from the docks, he snorted softly in amusement, before busying himself with making sure the straps on his saddle were properly tightened.

Nobody in her own inn wanted help. She headed toward another one, called "Deaf Mule Inn." It was just as crowded as her own. She continued looking for someone who could use her help.

Realizing that he would need a horse to get anywhere quick, he noticed the stable. At first all he noticed was the man, so he felt rather stupid. Approaching the stable, and knowing nothing about horses to begin with, he decided to engage in conversation.
"Hello," he said meekly, "I remember seeing you on the ship. How are you today?" eyeing a few horses, he spotted a nice brown one, with a white patch on it's side. He went to pet it, almost losing a finger in the process. "Ah....Waddya make of this one? He seems friendly."

((Sorry for taking so long but in a few days I should be moved in and on more, I hope))
When she got down stairs alita finds an empty table in a corner and is getting ready to order her breakfast one is brought to her and has been paid for appearently. Being catious she asks who paid for it, but doesn't get an answer. Not turning down a free meal which happens so infrequently she takes advantage of it but makes sure to have the server thank who ever bought the meal.

After seeing that out of the corner of his eye, he made sure he was facing away enough that his sudden smirk would not be seen, as he continued to work with his saddlebags. "I am fine. However, if you wish to remain that way, you may want to not touch other people's horses. Especially warhorses like that gelding you were trying to pet." He, on the other hand, knew a great deal about horses. Not that his player does, but that's why character knowledge is seperate from player knowledge.
Smiling inwardly, she slipped out of the common room before the serving boy could get back to her. Had she been facing, or going out, the front, she would have seen the girl from the docks yesterday, but she was going out the door into the stableyard behind the inn, the tip of her tail flicking slightly in amusement.

The guards who had been drunk while on duty the night before were being punished. Namely lashings. Later, they would go on extended watch for the next week, allowing those soldiers who had done their duty extra time to rest.

((sorry...haven't been able to be on much lately...))
The same answer from almost everyone. "Go away, clumsy girl." Even people who had just arrived on the boat were starting to call her that. Finally, Rana couldn't take any more... She went out of the inn and hid behind the stable where she could cry without being seen, without bothering anyone.

Vincent plopped down square on his rear, hands holding him up from behind. "Alright then," he said, "Which, in your opinion, is the friendliest looking one here?" Feeling almost exposed, he had to come up with a quick cover. "I just wanna pet one, I don't get a chance to meet a personable horse too often. Most of them I meet end up chasing me down in the end, but I'd rather not get into any of that conversation."

Still slightly confused at the free meal Alita eats her meal again thanking the server and then goes out to the stables to talk her horse for his morning walk, and explore more of this town and see if she's going to stay for a while or just move on.

Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as the girl from the docks passed by the stable, though it would seem he kept his eyes on the kid in front of him. "Well, there is one who I could gaurentee wouldn't bite you, as long as you are petting her with permission." He allowed a faint smirk to show on his face, even as he noted the woman from the boat follow shortly after the Suwari.
She had thought noone else would be up and about in the stableyard this early in the morning, but it seemed she was wrong, as several people from the boat were already there. That surprised her, as she had not expected to see anyone from the boat any time soon, if ever. However, seeing the man's weapons, she had an idea, and began walking towards him, having dismissed the boy in front of him.
