"My name would be Ginseku. So you're the leader of all the loyalists in this area?" His gaze became just a bit more serious, in anticipation to the answer.

Nick nodded. "I am. I've sworn my life to restoring the government, in the name of my parents." His hand tightened slightly around his Ruger. "I could take this girl back to our base...we have some medical facilities that we've raided from the hospital. We can only raid, as the hospitals are all under Proletariat control."

"She's coming with me. I've sworn to protect her. The Order are after her. Nick, I feel that for your safety you keep your eyes especially peeled, and keep a close watch on your troops. For just a few hours ago I was attacked by a few Loyalists wanting to mug me for my things. They are all dead now, except for one. My reaction was purely of defense. If you would like to fight me, then fine. But not in here. Outside. I'd rather not hurt Alora, or Kaonna by dragging them further into this business." He stood. Facing Nick.

Nick looked directly in his eyes, telling him the truth. "We're not supposed to do that. Either those soldiers were impostors, or they were violating the code. If you could tell me where you were, I could look up their platoon leader. However, you have my full assurance that those soldiers were not under orders from me to attack you."
He looked at the ground, disappointed. "Not many soldiers are like that...but those who do feel the need to do that are adequately punished. It sickens me to see the soldiers meant for restoration are disgracing the laws we try to uphold. In our operations, we do bend some laws for the need and cause...but neither me nor any of the officers or soldiers under me are allowed to attack civilians, except in self-defense."
He shook his head softly. "As for the Order, I can have her at the base in a short time. I can call guards to be here in five minutes, and they can bring a stretcher. Once we are on the train to the base, we can't be touched."

"I'm going to have to decline your offer. I was in the alley next to 9th street, across from the gas station. But what you could do if you'd really like to help me out, is find out where she was attacked, and why. What the purpose of attaining her as a hostage would be. And tell me when you find out. It might help you out to know what they are planning at the same time. Can you do it?" He looked a bit more relieved. Then studied Kaonna's face with a slightly concerned expression.

Nick nodded. "Will do."
He pulled a cellular phone off of his belt and keyed in the special number for the espionage department. "Kailen here. I need some infornation on someone. The Order of God is after her, and she was attacked by one or more of them. I need to know about her, why she would be a good hostage for them, and the latest report on the Order's plans...okay...one second."
He looked up to Ginseku. "What's the girl's name? Espionage says they've gotten information on someone named 'Kaonna,' could that be this girl?"

"Excuse me, but who are you people? How did I get into this place? And how do you know my name?!" Kaonna questioned with a frightened look on her face. She may have known the side of one man, but the other one looked mysterious and she was uncertain of his loyalties."As for what happened to me earlier, it is quite blurry right now."

Alora was sitting on the floor between the wall and her bed, listening intently. She could make out Ginseku's foot steps running down the hall and into the room, and another pair running up the stairs, most likely Nick's. There was silence for a moment, and then muffled voices. She stood up and walked down the hall, gun still in hand. When she entered Kaonna's room she relaxed. Everything seemed to be alright.

Kaonna's face snapped to the door where some woman stood. "Who are you?" Kaonna gazed intently at the woman's face, seeing that it looked friendly. Kaonna relaxed a little and waited for the woman or one of the men to reply.

Nick bowed slightly. "I am Nick Kailen, Supreme Commander of the Loyalists in this area. I believe that Ginseku brought you here...and I was talking to my espionage department. We're trying to find out why you were attacked."
He spoke quickly into his phone. "That's her."

"Loyalist huh? Normally I don't trust loyalists of any kind, but you seem different. I can tell you a little of what I remember, but I didn't pump the guys that were looking for me for info. I remember sitting in my tree and then they walked by. There were four. They said something about me and I surprise attacked them. They didn't even hit me with a single bullet until their leader guy," she said as she pointed towards her shoulder,"made his last shot at me. After that, I really don't remember anything."

Nick paid attention to her, listening to what the espionage agent said as well. "We have no idea what they want...but from what was found in what hit you, you were attacked by the Order of God. I would ask if you wanted to come to our base for protection, as well as a point to be able to strike at the Order from, but I have a feeling you'll decline."

"You're right. I shouldn't even be here. I need to be out there helping those that need it. It's funny. If things had been different, I might have chosen a side. Once I saw what the war was doing though, I had to help in a different way. You said the Order of God was behind this. I think I know why. I have to go before they find me again." She tried to rise to her feet again, but it was all in vain. "This is ridiculous," she muttered to herself. Kaonna thought about all the times she had been hurt worse than this, but had felt fine. She hadn't felt dizzy then. It must be because she was hungry, but Kaonna knew she must not impose any longer on these people. Kaonna tried once again to rise, and the dizziness returned. She bore through it though and managed to fight it back.

There's more than enough of that back at the base. You can rest assured that the Order of God will not capture you, and you will be welcome when you need help. However, you cannot go out in this condition."

"If I don't go out there, innocent people may die. Don't you understand? I'm always there for those who get attacked by your men, the Order of God's men, and any others. I don't do well caged up anyways. The reason they're after me, is that I know more than I should and I'm capable of more than I look. I'm sorry if I seem whatever, but I just don't want you or anyone else getting hurt." With that she walked towards the door. Her mind willed her to go, but her body just wouldn't let her. She fell to her knees in defeat.
