Rednal read the information on the datapad very carefully, then raised an eyebrow. "Fine." he said, still not trusting this arrival. He stank, and not literally. "So you claim to be advanced enough to be able to block sabers with nothing but your body. How interesting." he chuckled. Oh, this was FUN. He hoped his students would understand what he was getting at. He tossed down a block in front of Serino. "Lift that with the Force."
What he didn't say was that it was no ordinary material being used there. Only someone who knew what they were doing would be able to lift it. And anyone who could manipulate the Force to block lightsabers had to know what they were doing. If he lifted it, he would prove that he was far too advanced for the class. If he didn't, he was a liar, and the boy would find out why. And he would know if the boy didn't try his hardest or tried to fake something. So, what would he do? How very interesting.

Theodora watched the boy carefully with her yellow eyes. her tail twitched nervously as she evaluted the situation. The boy had a dark air about him. She wondered how he was going to get out of the sticky situation he had been put in....

*he took deep breath, concentrated, and then he put his hands just above the block. the blocked glowed a faint white light, and it lifted, he floated it up by where his head is*

"So you do have some idea of what you're doing." Rednal said, calmly pulling the block over to him using the Force. It settled down by his feet. "So why would you want to be in this particular class, Serino?" the boy asked casually. "This is a class for beginners, which you definitely are not. Stop wasting my time and tell me what you really want."

Rednal raised an eyebrow. "So you are SO desperate to learn the basics instead of practicing with some friends in your room? All right, if you say so. However, I can't let you practice with the others; you're too good and they'll feel bad. So sorry." his tone made it obvious he wasn't. "You'll be sparring with me once the others have gotten started." he looked at the other students. "Speaking of which, quit staring and get to it! You'll never learn anything if you just stand around gaping!"

Kaya watched from where rednal hed left her. She might not trust serino,but she needed to calm down. She'd just keep an eye on him,if he tried anything,she'd be ready,but if he didn't she ouldn't waste any sleep over it. She walked over and joined the group silently.

Evan was siting against the stump of a tree. Surprisingly this wasn't going to be too hard for him. He had inadvertently done this before while working. He had needed a tool once and there was no one around to pass it to him. as a joke he tried to focus on it to get it to come to him much to his surprise it had done so. From then on when there was no one around that was how he worked.
He didn't want to stand up at that moment he had gotten a little too comfortable so he just reached his hand out in the general direction of the table. Visualized the table and the objects on it. From there he visualized his own saber. He could feel the slight tingling of his fingers that's how he knew it was working. From there here just stared blankly at the table while in his mind he could see how his saber was going to travel to him. Then surely but slowly his saber lifted off the table and drifted towards him and landed ever so carefully into his hand.
"There" He said with a slight smile on his face.

Rednal looked over at both Evan and Kaya. "Good job." he said, smiling. They would both understand what he meant; it wasn't exactly hard. Afterwards, Rednal looked back at Serino. "By sparring, I mean that you are going to attack me with everything you have and I will defeat each and every one of your moves using nothing but the Force. Of course, you can only be using the Force yourself. If you can give me one good hit, then I'll immediately graduate you. But if you can't do it, then you are going to stop giving me lip and do what I tell you."

Theodora watched Evan summon his saber and looked at the table. by sensing his feelings she could get the general picture of how he did it.
She closed her yellow eyes and her ears quivered slightly as she concitrated. She filled her body with the force. Then she visualizedher saber on the table. She used her force to call it to her. it jumped up and sped into her clawed hand with such force that she stepped backwards and let out a small yelp of surprise.

Evan saw what Theodora did. He chuckled to himself. "The first time I did it I nearly gave myself a black eye. Here," he said taking both his and her saber back over to the table. "I can try and help you to do it without using that much force behind it if you want."

Rednal chuckled as he watched the kids practice. Not that he was much more than a kid himself. "Don't try and yank it towards you, because that's exactly what will happen. You don't need to throw all your effort into it. Gently lift it with your mind and call it to your hand at speed you're comfortable with, all right?"

Kaya closed her eyes and concentrated.She pictured her saber levitating to her and thats exactly what happened. It lifted off the table and zoomed towards her as if somebody had thrown it to her. She had opened her eyes, by now, and caught it easily. She was good at catching things.
