elemental_goddess_matsuko I like him. I never really thought of his as a pervert until i saw how many people said it in this guild, but i still like him and he makes me laugh a lot. Yeah same here! You read my mind sweatdrop

I love Shigure! I know he's kinda pervy and manipulative but i can't help it! He reminds me of Sirius from Harry Potter, lol i'm a total nerd. I've seen the anime and read all the books!

Just 'cause someone's manipulative doesn't mean ze's not a good person. Shigure's intentions are good, and his methods are questionable, but not evil. Either way, I like Shigure, though if he's been honest with Tohru about his intentions, that would've been better.

I agree with you, Shigure is a good guy. And its pretty cute how he loves Akito. Especially the part when he flashes back to when he was younger and he gives her the flower and says "I think of you all the time. I love you very much." and kisses her on the cheek. 3nodding Shigure's a good guy but i don't think he knows how to be nice consciously.

I think that shigure has some pervertedness to his name, but not THAT much. I think it's good that he tried to help break the curse, and i think he did a pretty good job, because if he would've told tohru in the first place, she might've not fallen in love w/ kyo. or like yuki the way she does and vise versa.

I think it really depends on the angle to see him. In many ways, he's quite funny, yet in other ways, he is quite mean...so basicly he's like a coin on it's side, just depends on the side you look at it.

I've only read the first Fruits Basket book (although I liked it VERY MUCH) so don't kill me if you disagree. biggrin I thought Shigure was nice, although sometimes rather sexist and kind of annoying. Not perverted, though. Hmm...
Is he actually a novelist or not?
Pros:
- kind
- gives good advice
- nice to Kyo
- nice to Tohru
- smart, funny
Cons:
- smokes
- sometimes annoying
- can occasionally be slightly perverted
- sometimes sexist
- bad at cooking (^.^)
- disorganized
Well, the cons outnumber the pros, but the pros are pretty good anyway. 3nodding

I think he has a good point with doing what he most do in the story line so in a way he his mean but in disguise a good guy to some in the story but all in all when you hear him talk to Hatori you see his point of why his acting that way so I do like Shigure cause he is a funny perv and curious how the rest of the series goes. I shall cry when the series ends and wish you all luck. I already have a series I'm going to read afterwards.

i usd to think shigure was funny, and great comic relif he was my favorite charecter.......but now that i have finished the series... i think that his charedter changed to much......... he was no longer funny, i disliked him........... SHIGURE WHAT HAPPENED?????? crying
