I don't really think it would be godmoding, so long as your getting hit yourself, with my characters, I'll dodge small amounts of damage, but I'll get boffed with some big things usually (ie in the new york rp when Fitz's guy gave me like a mega uppercut thing)

We have just created the "Private Role Play" subform. Everyone is invited as we start it off with an "Avengers" role play! Suggested by non-other than Sapphi! xd

Alright. We've been dicussing this a little bit and although the godmodding as toned down alot I still believe we need a character strength-cap on most members. What do you guys suggest?

well, both my characters have a couple good stats, and the rest are just, blah sort of, like Atlas is superstrong and a great fighter but he has no energy projection what so ever and KlerVu is uberly smart and pretty speedy but not much of a brawler

Yea, but some characters have really high stats and some are played stronger than they should be. KlerVu has been more or less fine so far so you shouldn't have any problem with him being too strong.

Same with my characters, of course Orb is more well balenced then MetalFire, but of course Orb is supposed to be an ultra villain anyway.

That brings up another thing. It seems every villain is an ultra-villain. For future villains lets tone it down a bit so we can have some variety. Its no one's fault though, its just the fact that when most people think villain they think "Ultimate Evil Plot!!! OWNAGE!" xd

Oh no I think both, I just prefer either playing that or a maverick. Of course sometimes I grow attached to certain underlings of my big bads.

Which would be a good type of villain to take up after this "World Domination" plot. He can seek revenge for his master maybe. I'm probably going to take up a minor villain when this is over.

I love taking hits, it is always more cinmatic when thier lips are bleeding or they have a gash on the chest, of course well described dodges are good to.
Well I hat to ruin it, but I intend Orb to survive and he is planning how already, oh good news I am having a friend come in and join as Victor, I used to play Gurps with them, so they know the characters well.

Lord Fitz That brings up another thing. It seems every villain is an ultra-villain. For future villains lets tone it down a bit so we can have some variety. Its no one's fault though, its just the fact that when most people think villain they think "Ultimate Evil Plot!!! OWNAGE!" xd exactly. One thing I saw when I was thinking of joining was how everyone had a spuervillain that was almost like a demi-God. I mean I like "Thanos-like" villains, bue let's say that having three or four in the same rp is a little too much. But even with that I think that things should be balanced in another way too. Imagine this my character is a Batman like vigilante, ok he has an ability or other that batman doesn't (and I'm trying not to be a Deus ex machina character like Batman), so I believe I shouldn't be fighting demi-gods with strenght 7 (and let's not even mention the word "winning because it would be ridicolous a character like me win a fight against Count Apocolypse when he would be lucky to even survive). So I believe characters should be balanced with the villains the way I mentioned. My character was done to fight characters like Nemesis or KlearVu. That way he has a chance to win. The rest should be left ot everyone's good sense when roleplaying their characters.
