NOT just hymns, NOT just classical, NOT just rock, NOT just swing, EVERYTHING. maybe some artists aren't the greatest, maybe some lyrics aren't the greatest, but the music God Himself made. how DARE you insult the Almighty's creation. Agreed. I made the same argument to people who believe sex to be sinful, but that's not a topic for this thread. Perhaps I will repost my essay elsewhere, if there is interest. people that believe sex is sinful? .... stare ok. yeah. sex OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE is sinful. not sex in general. but yeah, i agree, this should be a discussion for another thread. xd before i go off and uh... sweatdrop yeah.

Meijosui Ok that wierd in a music thread. eek It all ties in. People used to believe that any rock music at all would cause teenagers to become sexually immoral. They missed the mark there. It was the singers and musicians who gave a bad example, not the music genre, which was responsible for the immorality they saw. It was a classic case of post hoc ergo propter hoc.

Kederaji Tajorn Meijosui Ok that wierd in a music thread. eek It all ties in. People used to believe that any rock music at all would cause teenagers to become sexually immoral. They missed the mark there. It was the singers and musicians who gave a bad example, not the music genre, which was responsible for the immorality they saw. It was a classic case of post hoc ergo propter hoc. LOL I'm not in this convo. Sorry. I don't even know what you guys are talking about so yeah.

i absolutely love hawk nelson, relient k, switchfoot, chris tomlin, steven curtis chapman, michal w. smith, aaron shuest, plus one, jars of clay, newsboys, rebeccca st. james, bethany dillon,jeremy camp, and any worship songs. i basically love all of christian music.
