Wes had heard crashing as they went towards the Brown Quarters, but his concern was Kali. He was almost to her door, where he would have waited guard outside, when Kali came bursting out and grabbing his arm. As the took off down the hall, Wes knew they would never make it outside in time to help if he didn't do something. So, carefully watching down the hall, he spun a web into a gateway that opened up almost in the wall of the Tower near the entrance.

Thus, when they passed through the gateway, it winking out as Wes let the weave go, they saw two men on foot, one with a sparkling arm. That arm looked metallic to Wes, holding the Power as he was. There was also another man, radiating the Power as well, but in White armor and on a horse. He let go of Kali's hand as he drew his sword and began to prepare a shield.

Gerias, I have been reading your posts, I just happened to send my last one through the exact minute you sent yours through, so I didn't bother editing it. Also, being that Kali, Lily, and Wes were outside, they would be less likely to hear anything inside the Tower, especially while practicing swordplay.

I've read this like 7 times over and I still don't understand this...?

I'm writing a post now madaam. We shall end up in the woods, where you may wake up whenever suits you.

:Azalea groaned, placing a shaky hand to her head as she slowly propped herself up on her elbows. "Wha-?" She mumbled, trying to force her eyes open. When her vision finally cleared, Azalea was stricken with a blinding headache. She began to mutter curses angrily to herself before getting her bearings. Glancing about her she saw a beautiful glade, light filtering through gaps in the tree canopy overhead and small white flowers clustered about. She also saw, however, a sight somewhat less pleasing, given her circumstances. Vasquez and Anon stood nearby with another man, all watching her intently now that she was awake. "My, aren't you resourceful." She grumbled bitterly to Vasquez, eying his iron fist as she rubbed her temples gingerly in an effort to soothe the pain. Sighing deeply, Azalea slowly rose to her feet, brushing grass and rubble off of her dress. Her steps were a bit shaky are first but she made her way over to a nearby tree and propped herself against that. "I assume you would like to know what you are in for?" She looked between the two men then sighed again in irritation. "Who is he?" She gestured toward the stranger in the ivory armor testily, awaiting a response that was sure to prove interesting.:

Sighing inwardly, Lily went about to find an interesting book that could help her. Loneliness seemed to consume her again as she looked at the shelves, attempting to choose one to start with. The colorful one to the east of the room seemed to interest her more than the others, and she walked with small child steps to there. With her dreaminess, she hadn't seen the small hole that was in the wood covered ground and stepped on it, only to find it was loose and a hole was beneath. Curiousity had overcome her, for she had hit something hard in the hole. Lifting out her foot, Lily reached her small hands inside and took out a very old and thick book, seeming to have been hidden when the White Tower had been built. It was written in letters that Lily could not understand.

Lifting it up, she brushed the dust off it with her hands and went to look for Kali, only remembering that the lady had left the room a long time ago. Why does everyone leave me? Was it because of those clanking sounds? I guess I'll just have to go look for Kali! With the book in one hand and her white staff in another, she ran to the door and tried to open it but it was locked. Having some fun, she did not know that she had drawn upon the One Power and weaved a weave to unlock the door. With a quiet click, it was open and Lily went out to look for Kali.

By the time she'd gotten halfway to the dungeons, word of the escape had reached her. Between the chaos and the panic of the people, she was unable to leave as quickly as she wanted. She stood now at the bridge.

Mercury's anger was hard put not to be vented on the people around her. Her stormy eyes glared in a steady manner at the hole in the bridge. The mask was in place so except for the people who knew her in the Tower, everyone still thought she was being calm.

When I bloody well find out how those Light blasted woolheaded criminals escaped....

She summoned one of the Gaidin and he came forth. "Go back to the Tower. I want you to find all the people on duty when this happened. Bring them to my office. If there are any dead, bury them. Tell the people in my office they are not to leave under any circumstances. Leave a list of their names with the captain of the Tower Guard. I will get it when I return. Go with him." She motioned to another two Gaidin. They left and she looked at the crowd. This was going to cause quite a scene. Glaring at the chaos, she set the crowd doing various things: fixing the destruction both in the city and in the Tower, finding out where they had gone, and controlling the rumors which would doubtless spread.

The Amyrlin will not like this one bit. I'll be taking a trip to the Dream World tonight it seems.

She looked once more at the bridge. She could easily pass it, but what was the point? She couldn't do anything without knowing where they'd gone: the roads of Tar Valon branched everywhere, not to mention the ports. Turning on her heel, she walked away, the glare still present in her eyes, but more controlled and focused, as if she intended to set it loose on a task.
