I am giving everyone a day to post to this. The ingredients will be on until Friday-Sat when I will prepare for the next class. I will have a test on the ingredients o.O and you WILL NOT be able to copy and paste the ingredients from your notes xp Don't worry it isn't that hard, and most likely for each test you pass you will get 5 g in my class.
Oh and Homework!: Go to www.mugglenet.com and come back with a random fact about potions.(Dont worry, mugglenet is a fun site!)

Ana sat down and began to copy the ingredients from the board.
Gillyweed: eating a wad of this grows gills and webbed fingers and toes so that a person can swim and breathe underwater. Native to the Mediterranean Sea.
Bubotuber Pus: Good against stubborn acne when diluted; yellowish, smells of petrol
The pimple-curing properties of Bubotuber pus were discovered by Sacharissa Tugwood
Bezoar: Comes from the stomache of a goat, protects from most poisons.
Aconite: The same as monkshood and wolfsbane.
I hope that Professor Pierce doesn't mind that it was in late! though Ana as she copied the homework down and left the dungeon.

Mandrakes
This class is focused on herbology more so then potions. Please take notes on the following information.
- The mandrake root is a powerful restorative.
- It is one of the main ingredients for many antidotes.
- The plant itself is a purplish green colour. The roots resemble babies.
- The plants grow over the course of several months. When they have matured they are harvested and used as potion ingredients.
-The adult cry is fatal to wizards and witches. As babies it is still quite harmful and can knock a person out for awhile. Take caution when growing such a plant.
Homework: Write a few sentences discussing the information noted in class. Include a common potion the mandrake is used in and what the potion does.

Rachelle ran into class and found a seat upfront. She was almost late. She hurridly copied down the notes on the board:

"Mandrakes are extremely dangerous to witches and wizards. The adult mandrake's scream can kill and the baby's can cause one to go unconcious. It is always a good idea to wear soundproof earmuffs around them."
He smirks from the back of the room.
He snuck in quietly and unnoticed while the proffesor's back was turned.

Aura walks into the potions class "time to take notes!" Aura said happaly. Aura sat doun in a set near the middle. "perfict spot" Aura took out a quil and parchment. and copyed the notes:

Reya hurried into the dark classroom, stifling a yawn. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and was finding it difficult to concentrate during class.
She got out a random parchment and began taking notes.

Kaya calmly walked into her next class, which happend to be potions. "Notes? Guess I'd better start writing. There is a lot to write." Kaya took out two pieces of parchment and her quill and began copying from the black board. "Time to go study for the homework." Kaya bounded out he door.

((Continuation from above post, even tho it's a day later xp )
Reya slowly opened her eyes. All the students were leaving for their next class. Confused at first, Reya got up. She was surprised the professor hadn't noticed her sleep through class. Darn! I'll have to find someone to copy the notes from, she thought as she left.
