Christian began to inch closer and closer to breaking the hold. In response, Trent would put almost all of his weight down while bridging back, putting as much as he can into the hold without compromising the hold too much.

Christian froze for a minute, raising his arm up almost about to submit, but stays in this fight by getting one final surge and reaching and grabbing the bottom rope, and thus the referee would tell Trent to release the hold!

The official would get up, telling Trent to break the hold as he begun his count.
One!
Two!
Three!
At the three, Trent released the hold before stepping away from Christian. His back turned for a moment before turning back to Christian who would most likely be favoring the knee.

Christian was down, rolling over onto his back after the rope break, and he favors his right leg which was really bothering him. But finally has an opening after getting out of the submisssion.

Trent approached Christian, only to get pushed back by the official. Telling him to give him some space to get back up after the rope break.
Despite showing some resistance to the officials demand, he would back off. Keeping his eye on his opponent.

Christian would use the ropes to get to his feet, and back into a corner, still halfway favoring his knee.

Once Christian got to his feet, the official would back away and signal that both men could continue the match. With haste, Trent approached Christian with a balled fist, throwing a strike at his dome.

The cornered Christian was hit with the strike from Trent, as he stays in the corner.

The first strike from Trent this match would connect, but it wouldn't be the last as he would throw a combination of punches and chops to the cornered opponent.

Christian was hit with the combination of punches and chops, with nowhere to go! He stays in the corner, his arm draped on the top rope keeping him on his feet as he tries to shield himself

The damage was adding up to the point that Christian began to fall into the corner. Seeing that the damage was done, Trent began to pick up Christian by the legs, in an attempt to put him on top of the turnbuckle.

Christian was placed into a sitting position on the top turnbuckle.

Once Christian was on top of the turnbuckle, Trent began to climb his way up as well. Pushing his head under the left arm of Christian and his left arm around the head of Christian as well. If all went well, Trent would pull Christian to his feet before falling backward for a superplex!

Christian would get into a standing position but begins throwing punches at Trents head and body repeatedly until he let's go and falls off the rope!

The uppercut would catch Trent off guard, and the follow up unguarded punches would send Trent falling alone, back first on the mat.
