SubonicXP It wouldn't be a long walk for the Snagems as they made their way down the wide stairs, down a long hallway, and eventually making it to the fortress's innermost chamber. There was no further to go than- "This is it?" Sub asked no one in particular, despite stepping up alongside Cyrus and Ulla, who were already here. He looked around the large dome-shaped chamber, finding the place completely empty save for a single stone throne at the far end. There were no decorations, no pillars, nothing else save for the throne and the lit torches that dotted the chamber. Not even Dark was here despite knowing well and good he went this way, not that he was who he was hoping to see. Yet something told him... "I know you're here!" He shouted into the chamber. Aile sighed, recalling her two Pokémon, noting that Sarlaac didn’t really come out of that exchange all that great. What the hell was that all about? Dark was… something. That felt weirdly out of a cartoon, how he was able to survive all of that. Shaking her head, and hoping that this would be the last they saw of Dark, at least for the moment, she would continue on with the others, shoving her hands into her pockets. When the group arrived at the inner chamber, Aile would look around, frowning. No Cyrus or Cruxias to be seen at the moment. They had to be hiding somewhere. Somehow… Closing her eyes, she would put more of her focus into the ground beneath them, trying to get a sense of if anyone was moving beyond their sight. At least if they were on the ground. If at all possible, she didn’t want to get caught off guard. Crystal would look to Kairos and Apolla, the very odd bird looking rather pleased with himself. “Good job, you two. Thanks. You as well, Hepa.” The Helioptile popped her head out of the collar of her trainer’s shawl, looking quite happy at being told she did a good job as well. Patting the reptile’s head before returning both her and the Espeon, she’d turn to the Sigilyph, about to recall him as well before he turned to her. -”Mistress? I would feel more comfortable by your side right now than in that orb. We both know that ruins aren’t the safest of places, considering how we met. Please,”- Kairos pleaded to her, tilting his eyestalk. With a sigh, Crystal nodded. “Fine. But if I give the order, you’re returning to it. Understand?” -”Completely. Shall we follow your friends, then?”- The hybrid nodded again, falling silent as they followed with the others. As they walked, Crystal mulled over what Kairos had called the team. Her friends. A normal thought, but with her attitude towards everyone, she wasn’t sure how many of them would consider her that anymore. That, and she was keeping to herself more and more, too. Afraid of saying the wrong thing to piss someone off again, or doing the wrong thing and making problems worse. She wasn’t going to correct him, though. After all, she needed to keep her own worries to herself. Not let her own problems take away from the bigger crisis they all faced right now. When Kairos and Crystal arrived in the room, the cat woman would pause as she took in the room. Large, spacious, and with a grandiose stone throne at the end of it. She frowned, looking the room over and trying to see if she recognized any part of it. She was skeptical, but it wasn’t completely out of the question. And also, they had gotten here fast. And too easy. She frowned, crossing her arms under her shawl. Cruxias was able to mask Dark back at the trial, in addition to causing the judge’s door to link to, maybe these ruins, maybe somewhere else, she wasn’t sure. She just saw Unown righting on the walls, which honesty did rule out a lot of places. But, that number was still a non-one. Either way, regardless of whether or not this seemed familiar, the hybrid would feel uneasy. This had to be a trap. They got here too easily for a fortress, with no other labyrinthian twists and turns. And she had a feeling that Cruxias’ capabilities shown at the trial were only the tip of the iceberg. Her attention would stay on the throne, expecting someone to reveal themselves there momentarily.

"It's no good, the flames are too much!" Sol yelled out, forming another Weather Ball in one hand and moving another towards a ball on his belt. He wasn't keen on sending Slowbro out, unsure if the act would just get everyone stuck in a Trick Room that couldn't be controlled or if there was enough of a chance to start truly doing something about that accursed collar. Staring down that moment of indecision was Dark continuing to give a giant middle finger to how one's body or reality worked at all, but then something made all of that break.
With the flames flickering, the Inferno was sudden overpowered, though the whirling torrent meant the water spread all over and sent him and Amaranth backwards. The latter's Pidgeot and Pelipper wouldn't have to worry about such issues, simply flapping their wings to stay above the waves as they harmlessly passed underneath.
"Agh!"
"Whoa!"
They'd both wait for the water to stop before attempting to get back up, Sol looking worse for wear with all the Water energy at play and noticing Dark laying there with his swollen stomach. "You still continue even... after all that!?"
"I'm... not sure a stomach's supposed to expand like that," Amaranth remarked, desperately trying (and failing) to find some semblance of sense in anything she bore witness to over the last few minutes. She'd look away as Dark proceeded to vomit all the water forced down his throat.
They'd try to be ready for another round even as Dark decided he was too bored to continue and left, cackles echoing and lingering for a while before either of them relaxed their stances.
"I think I can speak for a lot of us when my biggest question about him or any of that is what, and I can't stress the next part enough, the hell was what we just went through?"
"A Faller so far off the deep end I'm not sure what hold time or space has on him anymore, if any. But Sub's right, for now we need to continue onward. He's not who we're here for."
"...right. Gale, Spritz, thanks. You both come back for now." Recalling both Pokemon, Amaranth went on ahead alongside the others.
Sol, however, would linger in the chamber for a few seconds longer, staring at the stairs that Dark and now everyone else had gone down. "All those ravings, calling me 'you'... how in the sacred flames do you handle a Faller that might be yourself? GRAY's going to need to meet that inquiry upon our return..."
Steeling himself with a breath, he'd rush after the others to catch up, seeing the throne in the distance. "Don't suppose he fancies himself a king?"
"Knowing him, he'd eat the crown and complain it tasted like cardboard," Amaranth answered, taking a step forward despite her apprehension.
Sol found himself staring at the seemingly empty throne, almost certain someone was present. He just wasn't sure if it'd be Cruxias, Dark, or someone else.

Reno was keeping pace alongside everyone else, still keeping his senses and his telepathy open in case Dark had decided to hide himself away invisibly to ambush them. That trick hadn't been given away yet, so he was going to use it for as long as he could before that mad hyena figured out he couldn't hide that easily anymore. Not that it seemed like he was actually lying in wait. Apparently his little outburst of being bored had been genuine? It wasn't stopping Reno from keeping at least a passive check going but after a few halls he toned down the checking every out of the way corner with his senses like he was on landmine check.
Aria wouldn't be quite as paranoid once Dark cleared out, having no idea about his little invisibility trick since she missed his first appearance at the trial. "So...do we wait for him to return singing a mambo? Is there like a.....plan...for dealing with a living cartoon? Do we paint a tunnel entrance and let him run into it?" Aria idly said as they began to progress along, having vaguely heard some of the comments from Sol and his cadre and trying to defuse the situation to some degree.
Either way, they would end up in the bizarre throne room and its complete dead end. Giving a small scoff as he stared at the throne, Reno would raise his prosthetic arm and let the red glow of the palm begin to light up. "You wanna do your dramatic reveal now that you're on the throne and this is some big mess or should it come after I burn a hole in whatever happens to be about midriff-level for your average sitting person?"

Blizzard120 “Yes.” Tristen would reply to Cyrus in a manner of fact notion, and a small electrical spark would make a pop from his mane which briefly echoed in the tunnel, practically daring Cyrus to try. Tristen knew generally of Cyrus’s history, namely how his hubris allowed a couple of teenagers no older than he was to effectively dismantle his plans for his own perfect world, with the unconfirmed rumors and some such that Giratina itself finished the job. Tristen knew that he wasn’t the toughest Snagem, but he wasn’t one to be trifle with. Cyrus was playing with fire yet again. In spite of that look on the Galactic leader’s face, a look of intent that he was certain to go through and show that his words were no mere threat, Tristen arguably dealt with worse, ready to draw down this leader if it came to it. He was, after all, told to fry this leader if needed. Ulla would get in between the two of them, not wanting this to escalate any further, though giving a threat herself to Cyrus, something to torment the Galactic leader. Tristen can only suspect that she managed to get something out of Cyrus, something that showed him vulnerable. She had the leverage, it looked. As Ulla moved ahead, Tristen watched Cyrus, being the one who brought up the rear as a just in case notion. Ulla_Hanabi "Cyrus." Ulla said calmly to break the sudden hostility between Tristen and Cyrus. She smiled sweetly, but just like Cyrus. She also had a bit of simmer of agitation underneath. "I've enjoyed our time together. I've also enjoyed our conversations we've had at HQ. It would be ashamed if we were to lose this bond. Wouldn't you say?" She asked as she glanced at Tristen. "And please don't doubt our abilities. We may not be able to stop you. But we can hold you down till the rest come along." She then looked at Cyrus's hands as he was trailing a Pokeball, then back at his face. The child gently placed her hand on top of his to show no harm. "There's no need for that. We are on the same team right now, remember? Besides, I should probably thank you for giving me the experience to learn to monitor you emotionally and mentally. As I was able to supress the noise, I can mimic that raw painful state. I can also...make the noise louder. She said sweetly with her expression not wavering either. Not really threatening, she was truly thankful to him. She was merely stating something that should have been obvious for a Galatic Admin. The Fairy Child then turned her back to them as she kept walking along the path. As she continued walking ahead, she kept careful watch of the Cyrus's emotions. Making sure there wasn't any sudden changes. She then looked back at the two. "Hey...Once you meet with the other one. What do you plan to do? We need to know so we can prepare for anything that happens. I want to trust that you'll also have our backs if we are up against a wall." Cyrus keeps his eyes level with Tristen's, even as Ulla steps in to try and deescalate the situation. Ulla again would feel even though he was annoyed with the little hybrid, there really wasn't anything resembling true full emotion below the surface. It might roll up once in a while but the man was a master at keeping his inner emotions in check, deadened. There's a tense, pregnant, pause as the Galactic leader seemed to be analyzing how much he needed Tristen in this moment as well as the goodwill of all of the Snagems before his hand trails off of the Pokeball. The Fairy Child's threat hadn't played the smallest iota in his decision, Ulla would know that because she would never sense a tendril of fear or unease creeping into his palette of emotions. Whatever the reason he turns and rejoins the rest of the group, pulling his hand free from Ulla's grasp, as they make their way down into the ruins, onward towards the 'throne room'. He doesn't acknowledge Tristen at all, brushing past the young man briskly as he moves forward towards the others, a brief wave over his shoulder indicating Ulla should follow him. As they go, Ulla's question causes the Galactic boss to tilt his head mildly, an alarming show of expression from the man. "What am I going to do when we find.... the other one?" He muses out loud, his brow furrowing lightly. His piercing gray eyes move to look at Ulla, discerning her intent in asking the question. "Don't you worry about me, I'm not here to jeopardize this mission. When we find that... Cyrus, I'll play my part and do what's necessary." Leaving it at that, it was going to have to be good enough of an explanation for the Fairy expert as they rejoin the main group. SubonicXP It wouldn't be a long walk for the Snagems as they made their way down the wide stairs, down a long hallway, and eventually making it to the fortress's innermost chamber. Not even Dark was here despite knowing well and good he went this way, not that he was who he was hoping to see. Yet something told him... "I know you're here!" He shouted into the chamber. Blizzard120 “Alright, that’s good. Here…come back for now. Might need to call you again. Thanks for your help.” Freth said, recalling the Pokémon back to his ball. Freth would then start following Sub off down the corridors. Freth would try to keep an eye out for anything that was out of the ordinary. Once she would arrive into the gigantic inner chamber, Freth stared in confusion. “What…kind of a chamber of this? I don’t remember anything in studies a room like this existing in the ruins. Worse still, there wasn’t really any turn offs or anything of the sort. Even she was asking where Dark could have ran off to? She hovered about, taking a look in the area. The small lit torch braziers and the stone seat that overlooked…effectively nothing. Not even the Unown symbols that lined the walls didn’t even reach in here. This place was well out of place. “Well, I feel a bit uneasy…” Reno Vantas Either way, they would end up in the bizarre throne room and its complete dead end. Giving a small scoff as he stared at the throne, Reno would raise his prosthetic arm and let the red glow of the palm begin to light up. "You wanna do your dramatic reveal now that you're on the throne and this is some big mess or should it come after I burn a hole in whatever happens to be about midriff-level for your average sitting person?" Darksol88 Sol found himself staring at the seemingly empty throne, almost certain someone was present. He just wasn't sure if it'd be Cruxias, Dark, or someone else. MoniqueBrie The walk that followed was short. A dead end with a single throne, dimly lit by torches. Something about it was plainer, ill-fitting compared to the chambers they had explored so far. Monique was left to wonder... Is our reality being tampered with again?Espeon_Commander This had to be a trap. They got here too easily for a fortress, with no other labyrinthian twists and turns. And she had a feeling that Cruxias’ capabilities shown at the trial were only the tip of the iceberg. Her attention would stay on the throne, expecting someone to reveal themselves there momentarily. There's a couple moments of silence, everyone fixated on the throne in the middle of the room. When, all of a sudden, there would be a familiar sounding hum in the chamber. A hum that, for anyone who had been at the courtroom in Viridian, should chill their marrow to its very core. It was the hum announcing the legendary move Roar of Time. As the Snagems spin to face the direction the sound was coming from, they'd find, in rather disorienting fashion, that the door has vanished completely with no sign of there ever having been one. Rather, there's a long antechamber where Dialga towers over them, temporal energy congealing in its mouth as it inhales to expel a tone of their destruction. Everyone had thought the throne was going to be the dais of some grand reveal. It seemed to be more like a pair of iron sights for the legend, and the team was right in the crosshairs. Cyrus, the other Cyrus, is standing next to the feet of his monstrous companion, observing the ongoing attack with a wicked smile slashed across his face, radiant joy clear below his shock of blue hair. For anyone who had paid attention to our Cyrus, the distinction between them would be incredibly jarring. "Go!" He commands loudly, arm outstretched. "Wipe them from this miserable timeline! Roar of Time!" The Roar lashes out in a burst of blue energy flying from Dialga and smashing into and rebounding off of the throne, throwing massive amounts of timestream energy around the room with its reverberations. The entire room around them, previously looking like an ancient ruin, now resembled a black and hardened obsidian box. A real life echo chamber. The soundwaves bound and rebound from the throne and to the walls and back again, quickly covering the room in a carpet of damaging energy and chronomantic sound.

Ulla watched Cyrus walk on ahead after the failed attempt to deescalate the situation. She sighed as saw Cyrus wave her over as she picked up the pace to stand beside him. The Fairy Child listened to the man's answer to her question, a vague answer at best. But an answer none the less. Once they rejoined with the main group, she observed everyone's condition.
They made their way to the main chamber. Nothing but lit torches and a throne. "...He's here." She said before the 'he' even made himself known. Ulla stepped forward infront of our Cyrus as her body started to be outlined in sparkly pink aura. Before the blast of time energy could even touch them, Ulla raised a wave of soft Fairy Energy. Once it clashed, it broke as the time energy started bouncing around them. Rebounding from the walls, she watched the wave move carefully as she expanded her energy outward to cover all of Snagem in a dome. Muffling the noise of Dialga roar as well. With each impact, Ulla would adjust how much of her channeling to disperse. It was no easy feat to measure how much channeling she should do. But she was able to handle it. Soon enough, anyone could notice the blasts were now bouncing off of the dome. There were some cracks in the dome that would start to get bigger but would soon start to regenerate slowly. If anyone was going to act, it needed to be soon.
"If anyone has any bright ideas...do it now. I can't be doing this forever." She said as she took out a Pokeball and tossed it in the air as her Comfey cheered. "C-Comfey...help me." She said as the the flower Pokemon nodded as it rested a flower crown on her head helping heal the cracks in her bubble.

OW! Deo is deafened and he isnt too happy about it. Seeing the big legendary creature attack, he thinks to himself 'not again' so he releases his bagon. Without saying a word the bagon is lifted by Deo, and thrusted into the air to hit the legendary in the throat and bite there. Deo was hoping this would stop the roar as no air = no roar. However he was in vain as he was at the long end of a rectangular antechamber. He had to think of something, and fast.
Deos fur was going all over the place. It was rippling through the roar and was causing it flay wildly in the amount of air flowing. Ripples of red flowed through his normally black and gold hair resembling his normally human hair flew through the roar where time distorted and the time flew every which way.

The rumbling of noise made every fur on Monique's body stand on end. The body knew. The body feared.
Roar of Time bellowed, and as Monique looked up to figure out the source of the sound, the room had completely changed. A simple, unadorned chamber, dominated by none other than Dialga, long-distance Cyrus lovingly standing at its feet and shouting in a show of emotion.
The roar was, in its own way, deafening and hurtful. It made Monique wince in her core for a moment—she could see Kommo-o in her peripheral vision shake, too—before she saw a large bubble start to emerge from Ulla and Cyrus.
Being here, in this setting, with this Pokémon made Monique almost feel the blade pressed up to her neck again, her life once hanging in the balance and maybe hanging there once more. It stiffened every muscle, made her hyper-aware and, at her core, hyper-scared. Clearly they wanted to erase her and the Snagems, for reasons that were still unclear. Not now. Her mind cried out for relief from the trauma pressed into her every groove at the trial, a deep breath an attempt to put a hurdle on her racing thoughts. Gotta protect my team.
She looked at the Scaly Pokémon, wondering for a split-second what it thought. This had to be the first time Kila had seen a Legendary Pokémon, maybe even any Pokémon of her own type. (Of course, she wouldn't have known its history prior to being a Shadow Pokémon.) And now here it was, in a scenario very different from any it might have faced stuck in a Poké Ball, marinating in its own corrupted chi. The bubble Ulla had formed to protect them from the constantly echoing Roar of Time was cracking. There wasn't much time to waste.
"Kila!" Close Combat! Knock that thing out!" she cried out, her hatred for long-distance Cyrus bubbling forth. "And knock him out with it!!" She pointed angrily at Dialga and Cyrus. "You attempted murderer!"
She thought of everything she'd worked for. Everything these people wanted to take away or alter. It was like a gale for the windworks, charging her up, her energy threatening to overflow in a surge of power. Mt. Kaʻanaʻana was screaming at the top of her lungs. Perhaps if she remembered in the moment that Fairy energy was on the battlefield, that might not have been the case...

That sound. He only encountered it once, just like the rest of the team, but it was a sound that stained your soul, impossible to forget. Turning to voice the direction of the sound Sub would fix his gaze upon the Temporal One itself, his eyes going wide and his stomach dropping. The Snagem leader would find it impossible to pull his eyes away from Dialga's own, the man unsure if he was feeling dread in this moment or something else as he simply stood there and watched as the beast accepted its command from the other Cyrus. If it were not for Ulla's quick thinking he would have been a sitting Ducklett like the rest of the Snagems, prone to other Cyrus's assault. However it was not just Ulla that was doing the protecting, there was another as well, though apparently only intended on safeguarding a single individual rather than the team.
"Cutie!" Cried the tiny Bee Fly Pokemon as it came flying out of Sub's vest, immediately rotating around him as it left a trail of pink gaseous energy in its wake.
"Huh? What the-...?" Sub muttered as the Fairy and Bug type broke his focus on Dialga, the man attempting to get a good look at the super tiny bug that was now circling him, surrounding him in its Aromatic Mist. "Whose Pokemon is this?" The man asked anyone, confused as to where it came from and how long it had been hiding under his vest. How does a random Bug Pokemon stow away on your person unseen anyways? And when did it get there? Questions that would be answered later, the Snagem leader shaking his focus off these unimportant topics and immediately clocking the struggling Ulla who was trying to protect them.
Watching the Cutiefly continue to do its thing Sub smiled, snatching a Pokeball off his belt. "I guess someone had a similar idea as me when it comes to confronting this living hourglass. I'll find out who exactly that is later but for now...Bohdan! Misty Terrain!" The man called out as he tossed the ball into the air.
"Weezing weez!" The twin headed Galarian Weezing cried as it appeared from the ball. The gas bag of a Pokemon would waste no time as two different streams of gasses began to pour out of its individual 'heads', a light and white Neutralizing Gas and a heavier and pink Misty Terrain. The white gas would attempt to fill up any space it could, relieving the Snagems of some of Dialga's oppressive Pressure. The pink gas would instead fall and settle across the ground, settling up a Misty Terrain which would act as a cushion against the 'sound waves' of the Roar of Time, muffling the waves as they attempt to bounce off the ground much like sound absorbing panels in a sound booth. Sub had tried to come prepared this time.
"Monique! Deo! No!" Sub called out to the hybrid as she instructed their Pokemon to attack Dialga. "Physical attacks won't work on it guys! I don't know exactly how it does it but your hits will never arrive in time! Only energy based ones appear to work!" He said, reminding them of what they learned in their first encounter with the Temporal One. This was no normal Pokemon, it had actual dominion over the flow of time itself. It was this ability that GRAY theorized why physical attacks didn't appear to connect, that Dialga could simply make a small adjustment to the flow of time around itself so that any would-be attackers arrive too late giving it ample time to react. This evidentially did not apply to energy based attacks, perhaps it was more difficult to manipulate the temporal flow of energy, or it was completely outside its realm of manipulation. Either way it was what little information they had to work with and if they were to defeat Dialga they needed to play smart.

The Galarian Weezing's arrival on the field was like a spark on a tinder box. Monique didn't need more Fairy energy in her life right in that moment. But now the room was filling with Misty Terrain, not to mention Neutralizing Gas. No way to start an illusion now if she wanted to.
The Roar of Time, which might have been heretofore blunted to Kommo-o by its Soundproof, suddenly reached it at full-strength, before it could even think of reaching Dialga. It was momentarily disoriented. Which might have been a good thing. Luckily, Kommo-o knew not one but two special moves.
"Alright! Clanging Scales! Go for himmmmm!" If anyone was listening, they might have noticed the most subtle change in the texture of the Zoroark hybrid's voice, rougher, more feral, more... bloodthirsty. She glared at them, instinct slowly rising to take over. Within a few minutes, it might be questionable how human the sheriff of New Po would be acting.

As the Snagems varied attempts to mitigate damage and, hopefully, stave off a fiery death blossomed into something far more effective than expected, Lykas allowed his Water Spout to fizzle away. As the Inferno was smothered by the wave and Dark was comically washed away, the hybrid gave the mad dog a curious look. What in the name of Arceus was going through that hybrid’s mind? One minute, he was quite literally howling mad, ready to tear them all apart and with what amounted to very little fight, he’d grown bored with them all and simply abandoned the fight.
Wren felt much the same, taking the moment to recall Hellebore before he could try and direct another blow at Dark directly. The dragon was only just barely at the edge of the Immunizer zone with less than a minute left of its effectiveness by the end of the power struggle. He had little desire to let the Drampa do more battle than needed and hadn’t intended to bring him along on this excursion in the first place. Hellebore let out a roar, cut off halfway by the Nest Ball’s crimson beam recalling him, as Dark turned away.
The Grass Channeler struggled for just a moment to calm himself. It had been a while since his anxiety had gotten the better of him but after that encounter, it almost felt like his lungs were struggling to take in air. Perhaps it was the pressure of the encounter. Perhaps it was the stress of the situation in its entirety. Or maybe it was something else entirely? He couldn’t say for sure as he leaned back and slid down the wall, sitting on the now-wet floor for a moment and focused on breathing as the Immunizer finally sputtered out, diffusing the last of the Vivid Scent that had been fed into it. “Hey, Blue! Thanks.” He called to Lykas, tossing the Snag Machine back to its rightful owner.
Catching his Snag Machine with a tentacle, Lykas offered a weak smile, sliding his left hand back into it. Normally, he’d have a smartalec quip to accompany it but this place made him feel uneasy. Not something easy to do for the Jellicent hybrid. He stood in place for a moment, taking a few deep breaths of his own before the others began to move. He could see the need to keep going, certainly, but what was it that made this feel wrong? For some reason, he simply felt like they should stop and rethink their plan of attack here. Sub had made it clear this was meant to be their shining moment of vengeance but given how their enemies had seemingly been one step ahead of them so often here, interrupting their attempts to fight back, flee or even prove their innocence, what was likely to happen here? “Guys… I’m not feeling good about this.” He announced as he trailed behind the others, offering Wren a hand back to his feet as he passed.
“Nor am I.” Wren agreed. He hadn’t been in the courtroom but what he’d heard of it all after the fact led him to believe that while a trap may not have been planned for them from the beginning, that somehow, this was going to become one at their least convenient moment.
Trailing into the throne room in the dungeon’s depths behind the other Snagems, the pair looked over the ancient seat. It looked far older than it had any right to be, perhaps older, even than the surrounding room. That couldn’t be right, though. Sub’s call to the room at large caused Wren to jolt slightly but steeled Lykas’ resolve further. This was wrong. Dark had come down that same staircase and yet, somehow, had ceased to exist. Had he ever truly existed? The hybrid thought back to the trial. Had he seen Dark there? Not that he could recall. At least not before he had. That is to say, before Dark’s sudden attack on Darts and Crystal, there had been no signs of such a being in that room and even then, Lykas hadn’t witnessed him with his own eyes even if there had been.
And then the hum began. The contradiction of whisper and scream at once as the thrum of time itself compressing. He’d heard it in the courtroom as well, just before-Spinning on his heel, Lykas shoved Wren to the side with his ponytail, throwing himself to the side as thew other Cyrus called to his warhorse to attack. The temporal flux that erupted with a violent roar from Dialga’s maw ripped through spacetime toward the Snagems and, somehow, met with the throne rather than anyone in particular. As the stream began to bounce off the surfaces within the room, Ulla rushed to the rescue, followed by Sub as a dome of Fairy Energy was erected to defend them and a pink mist was conjured up to provide cushioning. Lykas’ breath caught in his throat for a moment. Could he provide any real defense here? He didn’t carry Fairy-types beyond one to offer protection from the Dragon-type attack threatening to erase them from time entirely and what could fight such a beast without physical attacks? He’d brought Delmare just in case of a real fight but the Keldeo wasn’t capable of any energy-based attacks that he was aware of.
Wren grunted as he was shoved to the floor, rolling to complain at Lykas until he saw the attack passing in the air above them. The roar bouncing off every surface in the room by the time he saw it was concerning, certainly, but he recalled Reno’s statement that energy-based moves should be able to contact Dialga. Dropping a Nest Ball beside him, he released Hyacinth. As the dichroic Florges emerged, a shower of Fairy energy-infused flower petals scattered into the chamber, her Flower Veil offering protection against harm from indirect sources at least to Grass-types. Perhaps they would also help mitigate the Roar of Time? “Moonblast!” Wren ordered. “Try to cut off that attack!” He directed. The Florge nodded, gathering a bundle of Fairy energy into her hands and compressing it down into a tightly-packed ball of moonlight-colored fae punishment before hurling it toward Dialga’s face.
Watching as other began to push back, Lykas suddenly felt the Pressure around him ease as the Misty Terrain did its work. Taking a slightly easier breath, he reached for the Master Ball on his belt and released Delmare. “Physical attacks won’t work!” He informed the Keldeo.”Can you use any energy-based moves?” He asked the Legendary steed. The Colt Pokemon thought for just a moment before whirling toward Dialga and with a whip of his neck, sent an almost-invisible wave of pure vacuum flying as he cut the air itself between the two Legendary Pokemon.

Tristen stared in confusion at Cyrus for a brief instant as he trailed behind the two. In this entire time that he’s gotten to first-hand know Cyrus, uncertainty was not exactly something he expected out of the likes of this stone-faced leader. There was a hint of resolution there, like he did have a task to play. That he would be able to deal with the other Cyrus. All well and good. But then, what was he to do anyways? For that matter, what was he doing here, now that Tristen thought about it. The team already had the indication that they needed to be here. Cyrus didn’t need to come along, not that he could figure anyways strictly speaking. Between the information Sub got from GRAY and from Cyrus back at the makeshift headquarters, there was really no reason to and there was certainly people that could have kept an eye on their Cyrus. It wasn’t like Cyrus would have sleep walked and dreamed all the way into these ruins to give anyone a heads up about much of anything. Was this Cyrus supposed to talk sense into the other one? The thought of that was laughable. Maybe that needed to be addressed later…if there was one for him.
He would follow Cyrus and Ulla into the main chamber, staring in confusion. The light from his mane lighting up the room. Sub and the others would have finally made it shortly thereafter, being vindicated of his confidence of his teammates to handle Dark. But as confusion loomed as to what this place was and the unease started to settle, Tristen went wide-eyed as the hum started to make its presence known followed by a destructive bellow that threaten to tear everything asunder. Ulla would put up a shield in the nick of time, but it was not something she was going to be able to maintain for any extensive length of time. They had to fight back.
“Fighting Dialga is going to be troublesome if the other Cyrus is constantly barking orders. Ulla, we might want to try to take the other Cyrus out while the rest of the bunch tries to distract Dialga. Unless you got any better ideas.” Tristen would then ask this world’s Cyrus.
As plans start trying to get formed, Freth would toss out a Pokeball herself, needing to start dealing damage in whatever way she could. This Dialga was most certainly reality shifted, and more than likely in a similar state to how Dull and Dark is, tougher than normal and probably crazed. Unfortunately, unlike with Dark and Dull, they’re not able to get close to them without any particular work arounds lest time itself decides to have its way with everyone. “Go! Braviary!” Freth shouted, tossing the Pokeball out. In a flash, the large bird with a crest that looked aflame with psychic power appeared, screeching its arrival. “Alright Braviary! Shadow Ball!” Freth shouted.
The bird screeched and formed a black mass before it, a powerful ball formed, larger than one would expect, so much so it effectively resonated. The Hisuan Braviary put Sheer Force behind its attack, just as it would to any opposition or prey. The ball would get launched fiercely towards the Dialga, trying to drill into its temporal, if albeit, armored hide.

Aile narrowed her eyes, thrown off by where she heard that Cyrus’ voice. Behind them? But how? She didn’t think they were-
Turning around, she would see that the path they had taken was gone, replaced by a large dead end. And standing at the back of it was that Cyrus and Dialga. That didn’t make any sense to the woman, but then again, this had become once more par for the course. They were dealing with forces beyond their comprehension, one that had a severe bone to pick with Snagem. Why, she couldn’t guess, but they were, and this needed to stop now. However, at this point, it looked like it was going to end poorly for the team… Until Ulla stepped up and shielded all of them. Aile watched as the Roar of Time was dampened around them, the tremendous force around them bouncing off of the dome of Fairy energy. Granted, it wasn’t exactly bouncing off without a fight, as she observed the cracks, but they were protected for now. When Sub called out for everyone to use energy based attacks, she would nod and get her head back in the game, pulling out her Friend Ball. “Alright then. Kaas, use Blood Moon!”
Once more, the bipedal mutant bear would be brought out, his own eyes widening at what they were confronted with, at what he now had to face. Sure, he may have seen it back at the gym, but their focus was on evacuating the people, not actually fighting it. At this point, though, there was no backing out, so the Bloodmoon Ursaluna would begin to charge up energy in that red moon on his forehead, bracing and firing off the crimson beam at the god in front of him.
Crystal narrowed her eyes when she heard the displaced Cyrus, widening them quickly once she realized where his voice had come from. Behind them, not in front. She whipped herself around and went to brace for impact when… nothing came. Instead, Ulla had brought up a barrier of Fairy energy to protect them, giving everything she had in it. Turning her head to Sub as he shouted his order, she took a deep breath, looking down at her Pokeballs. Giving a pet to Hepa, she would return the now cowering Helioptile and bring out a beat up standard Pokeball. “Demon Wing, Blast Burn! Kairos, Helping Hand!” The Sigilyph would nod as a pair of spectral hands would be summoned by him, clapping a few times before pressing themselves onto the Charizard’s back, giving him an extra energy boost. With that done, Demon Wing would take a deep breath in, unleashing a large, fiery beam from his maw when he exhaled, putting all of the energy he had into it. All aiming for the God of Time before them.
Crystal, despite having given orders to both Kairos and Demon Wing, would honestly not be very confident in all of this. Having her order of events correct in her head, she couldn’t help but wonder if the same tactic of freezing all time around them was going to happen again, stalling out all of the attacks. And if that happened, well… She wasn’t going to be able to do anything about it this time. Even if she tried, she would be punished for the attempt, alongside possibly dooming this reality. No, if that Cyrus and Dialga tried that again, she could only hope that Darts was strong enough to knock the God out of it solo… or that there was some sort of ace in their Cyrus’ sleeve he was ready to pull.

MoniqueBrie "Kila!" Close Combat! Knock that thing out!" she cried out, her hatred for long-distance Cyrus bubbling forth. "And knock him out with it!!" She pointed angrily at Dialga and Cyrus. "You attempted murderer!" She thought of everything she'd worked for. DeoLux OW! SubonicXP "Monique! And Sub would be right, as soon as either of them even began to near the area occupied by Dialga, their movements and their actions would slow to a crawl again just like last time. Luckily for Monique, her Pokemon would stop short, its movement only starting to slow to a crawl as it approached, but it was very clear the same thing as last time was true - Dialga's temporal field around it was protecting the Pokemon like a cocoon of miasma. The Pokemon's Pressure was suffocating even just being in the vague vicinity of it, until... SubonicXP "Weezing weez!" The twin headed Galarian Weezing cried as it appeared from the ball. The Snagem Leader's neutralizing pair of gasses start to flow through the room. The Neutralizing Gas definitely didn't eliminate the pseudo-event horizon that was Dialga, but it seemed to smooth some of the edges off of the time anomaly, giving the Snagems a bit more room to work with. Monique's Kommo-o would immediately be freed from even the light slowdown it was under, returning full faculties to the Pokemon as the smog flows across towards the chronomantic legend towering over them. The Misty Terrain flows the opposite way, surrounding the Snagems who were currently... Ulla_Hanabi They made their way to the main chamber. Ensconced in a bubble of protective Fairy energy, courtesy of Ulla. Having her head on a swivel, and also having been so in touch with Cyrus (Both of them, technically.) had allowed her to get out in front of what had been intended as a kill shot, a decapitation that was only prevented thanks to her quick actions. The Roar of Time was far from harmless, smashing back and forth off the walls and into the barrier over and over again, seeking purchase even as the combination of Ulla's shield and Sub's terrain tried to soften its momentum. MoniqueBrie "Alright! Requiem of Whyspers Wren grunted as he was shoved to the floor, rolling to complain at Lykas until he saw the attack passing in the air above them. The roar bouncing off every surface in the room by the time he saw it was concerning, certainly, but he recalled Reno’s statement that energy-based moves should be able to contact Dialga. With that done, Demon Wing would take a deep breath in, unleashing a large, fiery beam from his maw when he exhaled, putting all of the energy he had into it. All aiming for the God of Time before them. With the Roar of Time starting to dissipate around them thanks to Ulla and Sub's early contributions, assisted with a little Flower Veil flourish from Wren's Florges, the Snagems begin to counterattack. They had precious seconds before the Legend would be able to unleash its signature move once again, glowing temporal energy licking its mouth, so they unleash a barrage of non-physical attacks, a wide battery of artillery of sorts. Despite the Helping Hand, the situation is exactly the same as last time as the Blast Burn, despite its immense heat, never reaches the legend. As the fire neared its intended target it would warp oddly, circling back in around on itself before snuffing right out. Moonblast, Clanging Scales (Dialga stepping easily in the way to body block for Cyrus), Vacuum Wave, and Shadow Ball all make it through the ravages of time and slam home, causing the Temporal Pokemon to voice its displeasure loudly, its cry echoing off the stone walls following its roar as it shouts at them peppering it. It was a Faller of sorts too, on top of being a Legend, so even as the attacks all slam home - Sheer Force or no - the moves ricochet off its chronokinetic skin, sending them off in all directions. Their assault wasn't doing nothing, it clearly bothered the Dialga as smoking craters appear on its armor, little pockets and divots starting to form on the Pokemon's epidermis. But, it's the Blood Moon of the cannon fire blasting its hull so to speak that elicits a very... strange response from the Legend. As the sanguine beam strikes home, it seems to be the first attack not to be shrugged off as Dialga's attention goes from the wide range of the team to laser-focused on the bear. It begins walking forwards slowly, one of its quadruped legs raising and falling onto the stone floor in front of it as it approaches the Bloodmoon Ursaluna. It flat out ignored the rest of the team and the chaos around everyone, and as it got closer and closer the people nearest to the front would begin to feel the effects of the temporal field begin to slow their movements. Thanks to Sub's efforts they'd be able to react and move backwards... except for Ursaluna. If looks could kill, the look on Dialga's face was liable to send one into cardiac arrest as Scary Face focuses the attention of the legend into one spot, trying to lock down the Peat Pokemon's alternate form in place. It clearly had some kind of vendetta against this Pokemon in particular... maybe something to do with Ursaluna's twisted path to this reality insulted Dialga, ironic though that may be given the circumstances. Cyrus hasn't yet noticed his monstrous companion's distraction, cackling loudly as the cacophony of the Roar of Time finally finishes. He's a little caught up in the moment still, seeming on the edge of mania as he extends a hand. "Now, Dialga - stomp these miserable criminals from existence! Pay them back a thousand-fold for what they did to us! Power Gem and bury them in rubble! D-Dialga?" His voice wavers as he suddenly realizes that the Pokemon he thought was on a leash is steadfastly ignoring him too, the call of the Bloodmoon inciting some kind of need for the Pokemon's destruction. Espeon_Commander Crystal, despite having given orders to both Kairos and Demon Wing, would honestly not be very confident in all of this. Darts and Ogerpon have been sheltering underneath the barrier with the rest of the team as Crystal's fears have been confirmed, trying to gauge the situation and determine what they should do now. Both of them were close-combat fighters and despite the Masked Pokemon's bravery it certainly wasn't stupid enough to run at this thing considering what happened last time. Looking down at his fancy new time piece, Darts felt very much in the same situation as Crystal as anything he attempted outside of their universe risked bringing the whole house of cards toppling down. For the moment both of them had to just bide their time and wait. The gambler doesn't bother deploying any of his Pokemon, seeing the rest of the team's even heavier hitters launch projectiles to noticeable but minimal effect. As Dialga nears, intent on doing something untoward to the Ursaluna, for Ulla and Ulla alone there would be a brief moment of something like clarity. Potentially it was her proximity to the connection between the Cyruses or maybe it was her natural affinity as occupying a spot in the ecosystem a predator of Dragon-types, but whatever the case she would get a sudden leap of insight as she looked at the Legend up close, with the effects of Pressure lessened. This Dialga was posturing very proudly, almost unnaturally so. And Cyrus, looking panicked behind it, was also giving away something very important. Both of them had come from the same universe, and as the Fairy Childe looked closely she would come to two key insights: Dialga was intensely, massively sick. Dying maybe even, and Cyrus was very well aware of that fact. Secondly, there was a roiling, bubbling cist of a weakspot in its aura on its left hand side, located just behind the armored plating on its chest. A gross, weeping pustule in its aura that was invisible to everyone else, it was only Ulla's unique combination of typal affinity and connection to Cyrus that let her realize it was there at all.

Aile watched as all the attacks hit the Dialga, each one doing less damage than they maybe should have. Until the Blood Moon connected, at least. The beginnings of a smirk would start to cross Aile’s face, but faded quickly once the both of them realized that Kaas now had the god’s full attention. The intimidation factor coming from the Dialga was certainly potent, as the Bloodmoon Ursaluna backed away quite slowly, refusing to show his back to it, even slower once that temporal bubble began to affect him. Aile, meanwhile, was racking her brain as she backed off, wanting to keep Kaas out for as long as possible. While he currently pissed off the displaced God of Time, she did note that his attack was the only one that managed to get his attention… Looking down at her belt as Dialga made its way forward, she’d pluck a relatively new Ultra Ball off of her belt, taking a few deepish breaths as she brought out the contents of the capture sphere. A flash of light would fade to be what looked like a Magneton, but really off at the same time. Two of its magnets were longer, touching the ground with iron shavings at the bases, the iron shavings something that each of the other magnets also had. Oddly, it had a tail made of screws as well as a ‘top knot’ also made of screws and iron shavings. Each eye on the not-exactly-Magneton would have a yellow sclera instead of a white one, and the top one also looked like it had some sort of war paint, as well as a sort of mouth underneath the eye, made up of four teardrop shaped iron filings, currently frowning as the ancient creature took in its surroundings.
Aile would step onto and climb up the Pokemon’s tail, grabbing one of the magnets on its back to steady herself once she got far enough. “Ay Tee, this is going to be extremely stupid, but we’re not leaving Kaas to die by a pissed off god. Run forward and use Zap Cannon on it. We’re going to try and get its attention!”
“Bzzt?! Bzzz bzzt bzzzzzzt!” The orb with the top eye would swivel to look at its trainer, eye wide as Aile brought a leg onto one of its legs to make that eye contact easier.
“Look, we’re dead anyways if this keeps going on, so what else do we have to lose? And if we survive this all and somehow this Dialga doesn’t, you might get to taste some unique metal shavings. Now, let’s go!” That seemed to be enough to convince it, as the head turned around and the Sandy Shocks began to charge up an electrical charge between its two ‘arm’ magnets. When it seemed ready, the ancient Pokemon jumped up and pointed its legs out, attempting to pull itself towards the Dialga as it fired off a gigantic beam of electricity. Clinging to its back still, Aile would shout, “Hey! You overgrown time lizard! Back off of that bear!”
Kaas, for what it was worth, decided he was going to try and attempt to stand his ground not too long after realizing he wasn’t making any progress towards escaping. So, his plan, if he could survive to pull it off(and realized his trainer was doing something absolutely reckless to enable this), would be to wait until he could recharge his Blood Moon, and fire it again. That was feeling like a big if, though.
Crystal grunted as Demon Wing’s Blast Burn fizzled out again, Demon Wing also looking frustrated. However, their attention would be drawn to the Blood Moon beam that seemed to actually hit home. Clearly, there was something up with that strange bear that managed to draw its ire. The trio would begin to back up as the God of Time made his way over, doing their damnedest to not get caught up in that time freezing aura. The hybrid looked between the black Clarizard and the Sigilyph, trying to figure out what to do next. One hand would reach up to that damnedable collar she was effectively forced to wear, her other reaching for her Pokéball belt. Demon Wing’s flames couldn’t get through this time, Kairos was closer to a defending and support Pokémon… Maybe Apolla? But she didn’t know anything as potent as Blast Burn… Her hand wouldn’t land on anything yet, unsure of how to move forward at this point. Demon Wing’s flames couldn’t reach Dialga, and she lost her one way to break through it herself… Light, what was the point of playing the long game to heal the timeline if none of her friends were around to live in it, and some jerkoffs keep having their way with it?
Her gaze would jump over to Darts and Ogerpon briefly, also looking like they were biding their time. What was he waiting for? At this point, they could probably use the power… It’s not like his had any restrictions, if she remembered right. His was just a monitor. Burn it all, why did-
Crystal would shake her head, trying to shove those thoughts out of her head. It wasn’t important, not now. Not that she was any closer to knowing what to do…
The hybrid didn’t notice the looks she was starting to get from Demon Wing and Kairos, a mix of confusion and frustration, at least in Demon Wing’s case. Yeah, they were in some sort of dire straits, but it’s not like there was also someone else doing something to fight back! As reckless as it was…. But currently, their trainer was just lost, it felt like! There were others that she could bring out! Why the hell wasn’t Apolla out to help?! Despite needing to recharge, some amount of billowing smoke would stream out of the corners of the Shiny Charizard’s maw, almost ready to give her a piece of his mind… if they weren’t all about to die, that is.

Ulla struggled to keep her stance with each pounding of Roar of Time. Once it started to dissipate, she let the bubble down as she breathed out of relief. Comfey patted it's trainer's head as the child started to get back to her feet. As she did, something in her felt clear. She has never felt this sort of clarity before as she looked up and couldn't help but stare at Dialga. She didn't quite understand this feeling, but she knew. It was because of the two Cyrus. "Cyrus...Do you feel what I'm feeling?" She asked as she started to piece things together. "Dialga...it's dying." She said as she then starred at the other Cyrus. "And he knows Dialga is..." She said in fear as the thought crossed her mind.
What happens...when the Legendary Time Pokemon dies?
As the other Cyrus tried to command Dialga to attack, the legendary just ignored him. Which made her question what was really going on, and what Snagem should do now. That's when Ulla noticed something odd about Dialga. Something pulsing under it's chest armor. "What is that?" The little Fairy Child said as she looked around as nobody else was seeing what she was. That's when Ulla held her hand out as she focused her channeling to merely outline the disgusting anomly on Dialga's body. They wouldn't be able to exactly what it was, but to know that's what Ulla was seeing was hopefully enough. "I'm not sure what that is...but it's effecting Dialga. Watch over me." She said as she closed her eyes as she took a deep breath in and started to go into a meditative state of mind. Ulla started to focus on the cist to get some sort of answer from it. How, its effecting Dialga. And how she could possibly cure it from these anomoly. Is it safe to attack it? Would it effect other Pokemon if they touch it? There was so many questions running through her mind. That's when she had somewhat of an idea.
"Cyrus. This might hurt you but I'm going to try to dig into the other's memories to see what that thing is. Don't worry, I'll suppress the pain by taking it on for you as best as I can." With her connection being between them. Hopefully, she could dig something out of the other Cyrus emotiional memories to see what he knows. She knew how much he hated Sub, and much more because of her connection. Maybe she could see other things?
