ᴘƖєαѕє ɗᴏη'ᴛ Ɩєαᴠє ຕє ᴛʜɪѕ ωαу....🌹 Selene held her arms open for Estelle after hearing her friend calling out to her. She returned the hug that her dearest friend gave her. Hibiscus, Amalthea, and Po came out of their poke balls while the two women hugged to visit with Vega. "Estelle, I'm glad that you are here now. I understand that you needed to get him situated after teleporting back here. Did you tell him about me willing to buy two meals from which ever restaurant he chooses, anywhere in Alola yet?" She asked her friend, not wanting to answer the question that Estelle asked her.
"It's been an ocean of chaos today and something tells me this only the beginning. Hanging in there as much as I can though." Selene said to Estelle as the group pokemon danced together. "Let's walk towards the canyon while we talk so we can have some time alone before the rest of the crew gets here." Selene said before spotting a certain pokemon linguist head towards Kahiau's place. She smirked slightly before speaking again. "It also give Deanna and Kahiau some time alone together before Professor Hazel arrives." She took her friend's hand into hers and pulled her further down the path before Deanna could call out to them.

ᴘƖєαѕє ɗᴏη'ᴛ Ɩєαᴠє ຕє ᴛʜɪѕ ωαу....🌹 Selene waited until her friend was sitting down and holding her, before resting her head on Estelle's shoulder. "At least they are still able to interact with each other on a regular basis. So I can't fault them on that account." She said as Hibiscus got into her lap. " Sly and I never said anything aloud to admit our feelings towards each other but our actions did in a way before we went our separate ways... I wanted to shoot myself for losing that necklace that he made me. I still want it back as it was precious to me because he had made it for me. Wished that I could have made those friendship necklace things that I got for us." Selene said as her left hand went to her white fish charm that she still wore after all this time.
"At first, he was acting the b*****d that he would act towards other people than he would usually act to me. Yet as time went on, it was almost like old times again. Like the sea had washed the years of separation away and it was sweet torture in a way. With Sly saying that he wouldn't be here long and didn't seem to meet me again after this interaction today. I did something I probably shouldn't have done and most likely I wouldn't have this injury if I hadn't gone for it. Care to guess what I did? " Selene asked and admitted to her friend, wondering if Estelle would figure out that she kissed Sly. "It wasn't Sly's fault that I got injured, it was all on me." Selene said so Estelle wouldn't have another reason to hate Sly for. There were already enough reasons for them to hate the Reckless Rhyhorn. Didn't need to add another one to that list.

Estelle is crying??? Why though? She thought to herself before pulling her head away and up from from Estelle's shoulder and saw the few tears stains on her friend's face.
"Yes, but he didn't kiss me back though. It seemed like he wanted to kiss me back and yet he didn't. He pushed me away and not long after that Serafina decided to toss me against Sly and the two of us went down. That's how I got my wrist sprained."She said before letting a sigh. Selene decided not to comment on it wasn't her fault, but it really was though. Then she smirked at the fact that Estelle said that Sly deserved to be punch in the face.""He got a round about kick to the face that made him drop to the ground. Let's say that was my hello greetings to the jerk." Selene admitted as she had enjoyed doing that in a way.
"He said that I should focus more on the contests for a while. That didn't make much sense I'm being a judge for it, not a contestant and I had say earlier to him that I was a judge for it." Selene began to say as this was leading to what she didn't want to bring up with the others. "He then started to say 'I don't w--it'd be bad if you got hurt anymore, and Pokémon Rangers need to prepare for trouble.' It sounds like he knows of something that might be going down but couldn't say what. He still cares for me give me that warning of sorts. What am I to do about that? I wanted to talk to you about this now and not in front of the others about this warning of sorts. What do you think?" Selene asked her friend, not knowing what to do about it.

"Are you alright Estelle? I did drop a bomb on you there." Selene said after Estelle got back on Cœur D'or. Cœur D'or nodded her head in acknowledgement to Estelle's apology.
"He did say a good bit of stupid things today, I'll grant you that part. Yet, I know he was being serious about the warning though. We were already at the Pokemon Center, and in the back when he said it. He knows how much he hurt me earlier as I admitted to him that I had gone to the morgue to look for him back then before our pokemon battle happened. Eh, I got to say this stuff more in order later with the group. But anyways..." Selene said before letting out a yawn
."I do believe his apology at the Pokemon center, and not long before he left me there, he gave me that warning. He stepped out the room before I could ask for any details though." Selene said, looking at Estelle before her stomach grumbled slightly. " Thank you Estelle, I wished that I hadn't had to call you two away from the Crown Tundra like I did though. Honestly, in a way I wished that I could have been there with you instead. Yet then I might have never had a chance to talk to that idiot again.... To get some some closure so there's that..." She said as she stood up to start back towards Kahiau's house.

"You're welcomed then, even though I still feel bad about it though. " Then an slight evil grin came across her face before teasing Estelle. "With it being cold there, you and Elio must have snuggled up a lot to stay warm over there. Did you enjoy snuggling with him?" She asked with a slight smirk on her face, hoping to make Estelle laugh.
"What is the score that Elio have with Sly this time? Besides the usual wanting to battle each other like they did back in the day?" Selene asked her as she thought back to their times at the pokemon school and doing the island challenges. Back then, Selene didn't like Elio much since he was a bit pushy for wanting to battle her due to the fact that her brother had been the Kalos champion the day they both were born on. Sly wouldn't let him battle her unless Elio was able to beat him in battle. Now, after how he had been willing to help her out after Sly left her behind in Lumiose City... . Elio was a friend that Selene wouldn't take for granted as their friendship really began in Kalos than back in Alola. She was more open to battling Elio now compared to back then when they they were doing the island challenge.

"That is true, Elio does have many fire types but they are not for cuddling with."She teased her friend. "Also true, the talking about Sly that is. Elio is like a brother now to me, due to our our time together in Kalos. Plus, we were born on the same day, same year but different parents and in different regions. So in one sense we are birthday twins. I'll claim as my brother though. I can't say that I could stop Elio from getting payback, even though a part of me wants him to do so and not at the same time." Selene said back to her, as their pokemon that were out were following behind them.
""Hmm, before the two of you came on the scene, Sly was the most protective of me, more that my brother is to be honest. It may not seem like it back then but true. It maybe possible that he's still being protective of me but more at a distance now due to whatever he got himself mixed up with. Elio's protectiveness is appreciated." Selene said, not knowing that Sly had a hand in having Monitor leave her alone after Meloetta joined her team. Yet, she did know now that had been Sly that sent the purple hibiscus so it wouldn't be far stretch theory for him to be protecting her from a distance while there. He had been keeping up with her to know when and where to send the purple hibiscuses to her.
"I did get a little bit of closure today but I want to know more though. Hopefully Elio can get some closure along with you. You and Elio did help pick up the shattered pieces of me back then. Those were some seriously dark times and I don't know if I could have come out of those times without you two. I know I wouldn't have been able to continue to go for being Kalos Queen without y'all help." Selene admitted to her friend, not for the first time or the last time on that matter as they closer to Kahiau's house.

Thank you for being there when I needed you back then. If you and Elio hadn't been there when ya'll were there when... There would have been more a higher chance that I wouldn't be here alive with you right now. You remember that close call one night..." Selene trailed off, shivering slightly while that memory went through her head. ' If Estelle hadn't come to check on me when she did that night, I would have died. I got to stay strong, and not cut myself due to letting my emotions getting the better of me. Been clean for four years now, I don't need to break it with a new cut.' She thought to herself before speaking again.
"Not sure if I'm a really strong woman like you say but I do know that I am a stronger person due to you helping me along the way. Family, friends, my support group in Kalos, and some of my sponsors that supported me all this time helped. It was mostly you my dear friend and thank you not letting me do it alone."Selene said before letting go of Estelle and then climbing the stairs that weren't covered by the wheelchair ramp that was set up for Dea.
It would be safe to say that either Selene and Estelle weren't expecting to see what was happening when Selene opened the front door. Her eyes went wide with surprise and lifted her hands to cover her mouth to help her stay quiet. Seeing her brother swirling Dea around the room and now about to kiss Dea, she kept silent as she didn't want to distract the two from what they were doing. She was happy for them, as it was about time. Yet, a small part of her was jealous of her brother. That didn't happen often that she would be jealous of Kahiau. Selene pushed that thought out of her mind for now, not knowing how Estelle was going to react to seeing the two about to kiss right in front of them...

A sigh escaped her lips as she went down the steps."Hopefully they won't be disturbed for a a while yet. A great and happy surprise it was." Selene said before heading back towards the canyon unlike what she said of going to her parents' home. A slight grimace came to her lips as Estelle reminded her of what she said about being an old maid. She took a deep breath before responding back to that. "Yeah, I guess I am one." She admitted with a slight sad smile on her face before thinking of Sly again. Selene wished that she keep him out her mind and heart yet he kept coming back.
They were out of site and hearing distance from Kahiau's house when she began to feel small pains on her body. She veered off the path into the forest behind the houses. She kept going until she reached a small clearing near the cliff and sat down on a small boulder. Images of Judge,writhing in pain fill her mind as the pains got worse. There was shadowed sadistic Ghost-type Sableye was all over Judge, repeatedly piercing the Steelix's armor with his spectral claws in the images she saw in her mind. The pains that Selene was having were coming from her own self-inflicted wounds from long ago. She held out her left wrist to take a look at her cuts there. They were bright red, as if they were brand new instead of being almost four years old. She wanted to yell out in pain but she didn't..."How is this possible?" "I know and thank you Estelle. I'll try to remember to call you if the urge to cut myself like back then happens. It did start in Kalos but earlier than you might think. The worst of it was after Sly left me behind there, which you saw the results of sadly. I'm sorry that you and Elio had to see that. Yet I'm grateful that you two were there to help me. I would have been dead if you hadn't checked on me that night." Selene said with regret written on her face and tone of voice.
" It was before we met at the pokemon school even. Remember when I told you about going to that dance camp in Kalos when I was ten? Both Marguerite and I were staying at our Grandparents Beaumont's place in Lumiose City. She was going to a science camp while I going to a dance camp. It was the second to last week-end of the visit and the two of us were spending some time with her friends when they decided to play the pain game. Whoever would not scream in pain or held from crying in pain the longest, wins. It has always been more about feeling the physical pain overriding the feelings the emotional pain. It wasn't until after Sly left me behind that I began using a knife over other tactics. Before we went our separate ways, it was rare that I fell prey to that temptation but it did happen. " She admitted to her best friend. Selene hadn't planned to say all that tonight but it was out now. Hibiscus came out of her poke ball and got into Selene's lap to comfort her.

The ranger knew that she would need to contact her therapist soon since she knew Dr. Zemaitis would be trying to contact her for info. But there were things that weren't said that was understood between the two friends. Selene didn't want to go back down that slippery hole of hopelessness she fell into long ago that she almost died... Nor did she want Estelle to find her in that state again or anyone else for that matter. Question was though, would anyone tell Sly about that close call before she was ready for him to know? 'I don't want him to know yet and hope that no one tells him about that. I don't want to place anymore guilt on him than I already have... '
Then she grinned after Estella said that the happy couple had enough time alone. "Agreed but I rather not know if they did more than a sweet kiss though. I'm happy for them though, I want those two to be happy." She said before responding back to the other." I won't, and I wanted you to know the other though since you are my best friend." The Ranger said as they drew closer to Kahiau's house.
"I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen it and felt the pain myself. Might ask Dea about it later but we'll see. Hope Judge will be alright... No matter what that jerk is up to these days, he always takes great care of his pokemon." Selene said, remembering their time earlier today and how he had taken the revives that she had offered. Selene stopped walking and look back towards Poni Canyon. A sigh escaped her lips as her thoughts went back to Sylvester. "I wonder, will I ever be able to move on from him? I mean, I'm afraid that he'll always be my weakness, no matter what. Even if I was able to fall in love with someone else....." Selene began but she wasn't sure how to finish that line of thought. But she did know now that that Reckless Rhyhorn would be a weakness to her, no matter what happens after today's chance meeting.....

'Perhaps I will get there one day and with some friends this time around and not by myself.' Selene thought even though she still wanted to go back there with Sly but having a feeling that won't happen...

Then she let Dragapult out of it's ball. "That's true and it's a hard choice. I wished that I could've have seen that but I didn't. That's adorable that you got to see that! The Dragapult that I have was a Drakloak when we first met back in Galar." She said as the said pokemon nodded its head and floated around the two ladies in lazy circles."It kept the Dreepy and the several Rookidees in line while I was trying to find a shiny Rookidee..."Selene faltered slightly as it seemed that almost everything made it way back to that Reckless Rhyhorn.... The shiny Rookidee would have been a present for him when they were to meet in Lumiose City.... But Sly never appeared....

"Sometimes I'll admit that I envy your happiness with Elio, being able to spend almost every day by his side. You are always the happiest when he's around and that goes for him as well. I miss having that with Sly, yet our paths had changed so that I'm not sure that we will have that again, not to same degree as it was before." Then they went back over the Dragapult and laying on it's head again. Dragapult came over the Selene and wrapped around the Ranger to give her a hug before returning to her ball."Dragapult and her Dreepys are the most affectionate out of my ghost type pokemons."Selene commented as she did have a smile on her face after they had shown that affection.
