Ana returned to her dorm to change out of her burned tank top. She put on a new tank top and a jean jacket, and decided to go back to Hogsmeade.

Sira woke up to the deep purring of Raj. Sighing, she gazed over at her clock.
"uugghh.....6:37 am"
she gave another long sigh and dragged herself out of bed, her scruffy hair that hanged down tangled and her sleepy eyes half shut.
"huhhhhh...." she yawned, and then stretched. She pulled at her dresser drawers and looked at clothes.
Within moments she was in a fresh tank top and jeans. Her robes lay on the ground. They were dirty, and today, not needed. She looked in the mirror that stood by her dresser and began to brush her hair.
-today is sunday- she thought happily as her hair brush escaped her grasp.
Wondering what to do, she grabbed a few over due library books and set off for the dark corridors, a lit candle in hand.

Running into the dorm, she saw Gandalf sitting in his open cage, looking dejected. "Here, honey, I'm so sorry!" Ana said to her owl, handing him a treat and taking him onto her arm. She sat down on her bed, and heard a small crunch. She sat up quickly and saw a letter from her parents, a bit crumpled from her sitting on it.
Dear Ana,
I'm glad you are making friends. Do you have any friends since last time? I apologize about the wait. Gandalf just left it at the door, and Chick was off delivering a letter.
Have your classes started yet? I remember one year when we had to wait until November for some of them. It was great fun though, we got to spend lots of time on the grounds and stuff!
Well, tell everything that's happened to you! We can't wait to hear.

Ana got out a quill, some blue ink, and a pad of parchment to write back to her parents.
Dear Mum and Dad,
I met a Slytherin girl named Aura. I don't know why she's in Slytherin, though. She's nice enough and smart enough for Ravenclaw.
How is Chick? Haven't heard about him!
Potions, charms, and astonomy have started, but that's all. I bet we'll have to wait until January or something at the rate we're going.
But not much has happened around here. I'll tell you if something does!

For some reason, she didn't tell her parents about becoming an apprentice to the grand protector of nature. It didn't seem right somehow. But she'd recently been feeling strange. It seemed related to that somehow, like something bad had happened. She didn't know whta to think. "Okay, can you take this to Mum an-" she began to ask Gandalf to deliver the letter, but she decided to let him stay with her. He deserved more attention than he was getting, and she was going to give it to him. "Come on Gandalf, we're going to the owlry." Then thinking about Sira, and how she'd said that she could come, she hastily scrawled a note. 'At the owlry. Come if you want.' Leaving it on her bed, she left the room with Gandalf.

Jade walked lazily into the dorm and placed her books down. 'That was a whirl-wind of a week!' She thought as she changed into silky purple pajamas. 'Time for some much needed re---' Jade fell lightly onto her bed and fell asleep instantly.

Sandry peeped through the door of the Ravenclaw dorm room, and then slipped inside the door, her kestrel, Arrow, sitting on the leather brace that was wrapped around her wrist. Sandry was a bit daunted by the room at first, everywhere she looked there was different types of beds and trunks scattered throughout the room. Scanning the room for an empty bed, she also took in the different array of posters and other personal items that were laying around the room, tying to guess what her dorm-mates personalities were. Not seeing anything very obvious out in the open, Sandry went to an open bed, which was near a small window seat drapped in a shimmery blue cloth. Reaching it, Sandry examined her chosen bed critically, delighting in what she found. The bed was made of a glowingly polished cherry wood, and the bed set made of a deep, midnight blue fabric, embroidered with simple silver vines on the edges . As she looked closer at the embroidery, a vine curled around and sprouted another tendril, Sandry was amazed in spite of herself. Opening the hazy mist colored curtians, she sat gracefully on the bed, but popped right up again as she heard a woosh of sound at the foot of her bed. Leaning over, she saw her studry, wooden trunk had appeared. Sandry reached over, and lovingly stroked the forest scene that had been embossed on it, before slowly opening it. Her trunk had been passed down to her when her grandmother died, and Sandry always felt that as long as she had the trunk she could remeber her. As Sandry unpacked some of her personal things (Books (mostly muggle fantasies), a few cat and owl stuffed animals, and some wizarding games), she felt a pricking on her shoulder, Arrow had returned. "So have you found anything interesting?" She asked, and the kestrel regarded her with a warm yellow stare. "Ah, oh well." Sandry said, a little disappointed. At this however, her pet, pushed off her shoulder and, letting out a harsh cry, circled a green clad bed in the corner. As Sandry's gaze was drawn to the area, she noticed a pair of purple clad legs visible, her hand flew to her mouth, she didn't want to disturb anyone on her first day here. Walking near the bed, she glared at Arrow, and humblely adressed the legs, "I'm so sorry about that, Arrow is a little-" After a while with no responce Sandry broke off, realizing the girl was still asleep.

Ana walked into the room. Ah, a new girl! she thought. We do need some excitement in here. She walked up to the new girl, who was standing by Jade's bed, where the latter was sleeping. "Hello," said Ana. "I'm Ana. I sleep over there," she continued, pointing to her blue bed in the center of the room. "It's a relief to have someone new in here. There don't ever seem to be many people in here. I come in sometimes when I want to be alone, and of course to sleep." She giggled. "Oh, forgive me. What's your name?"

Earth to..um...right, she never told me her name. Well, that happens to me sometimes, she should snap out of it soon enough." She laughed. Gandalf, was sitting in his cage, hooted and flew over. "White isn't very Halloweeny. You need a costume," she told him. She said an incantation, and he turned black with an orange head.

((Sorry I was at camp all weekend)) Sandry shuffled her feet a little during the conversation, a bit amazed at Ana's ability to talk. She had been preening Arrow with a finger when she realized that Ana was talking to her. "Oh, I'm sorry." she said in a soft, clear voice, a bit jumpy from nerves, "My name is Sandrine, or Sandry for short. And you're...Jade." She said haltingly trying to dreg up the conversation, Sandry had a terrible short term memory. "Sorry about Arrow, he kinda goes where he wants..." She gave Gandalf a funny look and turned to Ana, "He lets you do that? Arrow would have a fit if I changed him colors."
