Bio: im from illinois, a very liberal state. my parents are republican so you can be sure i dont just listen to them. im sorry if i appear rude. its just that i have what my dad likes to call the "McCarthy Gene" which tends to make me act a lot like lewis black. also, im also picked on a lot by my own father. i dont really know why but he yells at me for things as simple as trying to avoid causing an accident. example: we were in an airport and he went into a shop. i followed him and accidentally bumped into a shelf, making almost know contact at all. but still he yells at me for being a "******** moron" and so i try and walk away from the shelf so i dont hit it again, also i said sorry to him. then he thinks im being a smart a** and screams at me in front of the whole airport and even now as you read this he still things i was being a smart a**. he takes out all his aggression on me and i dont like it at a**. my aunt and mom both agree its verbal abuse but theres nothing i can do. he also wont believe i have ADD, he says that the doctor tested me and i dont have it. thats not true because that was in 5th grade and theres no real way to test if i have it. also my counselor is positive i have it and she knows my father wont believe it. sad
on a lighter note, i go to a private school and love hanging out with my friends. i also love to have arguements, political as well as anything else you want to discuss. i really hate right wing christians because theyre so hypocritical, but im not going to go into that. ninja my aunt and grandma are both members of PETA and are also liberal. my grandma's was and still is a hippie. lol i play baseball on my school team.
also, i just got back from the National Student Leadership Confrence in D.C. (the politics one, dur!) it was fun and i encourage you to apply for it next year. i got it in the mail but you can still sign up. without an invite.
Why you joined: i'm just keeping myself on my toes until school starts up and im in poly science. im honestly not taking this very seriously.

Subject most concerned about: Hmm...really I am open to discuss anything and everything. Major concerns would probably be: Education, Lower governmental regulations, upholding the Constitution as intended, Iraq and other International relations.
Bio: I live in the Chicagoland area, and Illinois is, as you know, an extremely liberal state. My mom is a hardcore Repubican and my dad is not as much so, and can be liberal on many issues (such as Iraq). They are divorved though. My best friend is Republican as well, and so is her father and mother. We're all friends, so yeah, I was greatly influenced by those around me. However, I do truly believe in what I want, and do take liberal approaches on some topics.

Bio: I've been on both sides of the fence so I eventually discovered that the real answers to most of our problems are in the middle. Was raised as a Southern Baptist, then became evil rebellious teenager and now I'm a somewhat well adjusted Buddhist.

Ironically, what finally go me into politics was Darrel Hammond's Bill Clinton Impression, and Al franken's book on Rush Limbaugh. Thats all you need to know
