Rakuna was in the kitchen washing the dishes. He wasn't worried about Austin getting taken, the collar would handle that. He just had a problem with people coming in, as previously demonstrated. And he had already activated the proximity alarms and defenses after taking out the trash.

So if Austin did go downstairs, he would find several rooms devoid of all furniture. In its place being supplies upon supplies of food, boxes labeled munitions, and a free standing closet of clothes to change into. This place was no house, but a safe house of sorts. But from what and whom it remained to be seen.

{I'll let you do some world-building here. Go nuts.}

Rakuna finished washing the dishes and went to check on Austin. Upon seeing that the man was gone, he grabbed a book to read and sat at the top of the steps, waiting.

Rakuna flipped the page with a sigh as he realized the question was meant for him. "It's a safe house. Typically a place to hunker down in a survive extreme situations or a last line of defense for those who find themselves hunted. "Though, in this situation, it's the former." He admitted, turning another page.

"We aren't," Rakuna started as he shut his book and looked down at Austin. "But it's your death if you leave this place." His yellow eyes glowed in the dim lights. "You seem to be under the impression that I'm the worst thing to happen to you. I assure you, by the end of this week, you'll have your truth."

Rakuna rested his head and one of his hands, the corners of his mouth tilting up so slightly. "Right. From where you were, it would look that way. And my already being your biggest fan couldn't have helped." He then blinked, recalling something. "Hey, did you ever get my poem?"

Rakuna stared at Austin before a smile crossed his face. "Thank goodness. I was worried it didn't make it through. It was the last thing I chose to send you." He gestured about the house. "I was too busy putting this place together. The wolf did not wish for the bird perish, like in the poem."

{Hint: Rakuna just said the poem was the last thing he sent. The note that sent Austin running outside wasn't a poem.}

Rakuna's smile slowly disappeared at Austin's words. This brought out a few details that had him worried now. Sure, he was Austin's stalker and knew that the idol liked to sneak away when distressing fan mail came his way. Though, it was Austin's weakest point, and he'd be terribly disappointed if he had resorted to such a method just to get the idol alone with him.

Now that I think on it. The circumstances under which I took him should have been more suspicious to me... I was so excited, I took him without really thinking the hows and whys. Standing up, he got a serious look on his face. "Austin, please return to your chain. I could be wrong about this, I hope I'm wrong, but I need you to be chained up again."
