I just wanted to take the time to thank you all for your feedback and suggestions it means a lot. As for why it took me so long to respond to everyone, I am in the process of trying to partake in my sons life. I been waiting for a year and it was a long stressful year but i finally got her to hear me out. heart

I'm on the fence. Right now I've been working 7/10's and haven't had much time to be on Gaia. Though I don't plan on leaving any time soon, I guess that would consider me inactive since I don't believe I've posted in the guild in about 3 weeks or so. I do enjoy this guild and would like to remain in it.
How would you weed out inactives? Assuming that if someone really wanted to be in here and they were kicked out, they could simply rejoin. Can you do that if you're kicked out?
I apologize if you've answered similar questions already.

It's not really a secret that a lot of people go on hiatus when it comes to Gaia. It's just the normal process of every user on this website. Doing a member sweep will discourage old members returning from long extended breaks.
Example: "Just returned from a 6 month hiatus! *checks messages* 'You've been kicked from the Supreme Alliance guild.' GG"

Like, 6 months before a warning, then another 6 months before the kick if there's no response? Basically give sufficient time to allow users a chance before the sweep?

Still no point in removing people from the guild for inactivity. Put yourselves through all that work of tracking all those members inactivity just to boot a couple of people who haven't posted in a while. All that time and energy can be spent on other stuff for the guild. razz Just saying that I know a lot of people from this guild that have gone inactive over a year ago with many returning back recently. I've been around Supreme for a long enough time to know. razz

We would go off like duration of how long someones been offline and try to get the 1+years ones out and if they come back they could always rejoin, also for the banned accounts. You will have no reason for being kicked ma'am and im glad you enjoy it here with us and I completely understand everyones got things in irl to do. Hopefully my responds was to your liking.

Supreme Crimson Rikusuke Hey I already met ya! And this is CrayCray! Here's my number! So call me maybe? ShawnyPawny I wub wot you sed there! I mean up top about this whole topic. OMG I think there is vegemite in my nuttella... Ewww! Having brunch rn. I loved what you said too! That is indeed gross. Keep the vegemite away from me. Thank you! On a serious note, I really don't think kicking inactive people is a good idea. Supreme was founded to provide a home and family to all Gaians alike. To just remove people due to their real life taking priority is preposterous. A lot of us old bees in the guild become inactive due to that sole reason. I can't speak for others, but for the friends I've made here, it's a very true statement. Regarding Booky, we all miss that one. Hopefully she returns one day, and we'll be here to welcome her back with open arms. I keep seeing people mention "activity" as a premises to start booting inactive members. Booting people will not increase activity in any way. At the end of the day those members will still be inactive, and activity won't increase. Please don't hold a gun to the members head giving them a choice to be active or inactive. The moment you start doing that is the moment you lose members who cherish this guild. I'm voting no on this subject.

I want to be a person she won't be disappointed in. For the most part. 50% of those who voted yes are only voting for the hacked/dead accounts. This give me hope at least. Yes! Us oldbees will be slow xD Yearly replies coming up! I wish you were part of the crew and become our Hangout Spot. I mean, I'm always stalking you! blaugh
