Otto shook his head. "Everyone had warned me he might not make it because they never seen a gash so big before. But right now they say he'll be ok. Hopefully he will leave today. He's unfortunately going to have a hard time walking." He was somewhat thankful since the hospital was an excuse to practice English in there. Hidey hated being in there, so the best excuse was to learn English. They did it from Dawn to Dusk, and it helped Hidey now speak somewhat better. With the worksheets, and children videos, he learning a lot faster than the students would during one year of language class.

"He is starting to understand. Now he reads and understands English in a 4th grade level, but he still speaks it like a Kindergartner." He then looked down at the coke. "Is....there a reason you brought coke?" He had to ask, since it seemed out of norm. "But anyways, all the lies we are coming up with regarding the demons are starting to seem like bullshit, sooner or later we have to tell the truth. It's gonna make a lot of suspicion, we just do not want anyone to panic...nor discriminate against the Asian community again like WWII." He then stood up to see the nurse saying Hidey was available to talk to. "He should be awake by now."
________________________________________________________________

Hide laid on the bed, fiddling the wires around to clear boredom as he then saw two figures approach. It was Lyla and Otto. "Good morning Hidey." This was another lesson, which Hidey liked right now since it cured his boredom. "Good......Good Morning." "How are you feeling?" Hidey hesitated before then nodding: "Be-Better than.....long ago." That was not good, but it was better than nothing. "Oha-.....Hi Lyla." Otto shrugged, he was close to saying Ohayo. "He's trying." He then could see the girl was not happy being in the hospital. "I guess you had nothing but bad experiences here?" He had to ask. "Anyway Hidey, I will bring in lessons for today, and hopefully you'll be out of here today. I'll be right back." He left Lyla alone with Hidey who just laid there staring at her as he sighed. "Y-You....never...c-came."

Lyla sighed in relief when Otto relayed the news that Hidehara was going to survive. Having the demon die in such a sterile and gray place like a hospital would've haunted the girl for eternity. The girl was also very surprised to hear that Hidehara had advanced so quickly in learning the english language. She herself had spent the week trying to teach herself Japanese to a somewhat successful degree. Reading the language was the hardest part for her, but she could converse in small sentences nowadays. Of course, she still hadn't perfected the pronunciation and her Japanese had a heavy english accent.

Lyla looked at her coke and shrugged, a small smile on her lips. Hidehara had a coke one time and liked it...so I thought I'd bring him some to cheer him up. She admitted, laughing slightly to herself. The week old memory of the demon downing his drink resurfaced and caused the student to finally smile. Unfortunately, there hadn't been too much to celebrate lately. Lyla listened to Otto explain about coming clean and raised an eyebrow. If you guys think that's the best move than go for it. I just hope no dunderheads try to go after the demons themselves. They'd get killed in two seconds flat. She said grimly before a nurse came up and ushered them into the room.

Entering the hospital room gave Lyla a chill down her spine. Everything smelled like bleach and the sound of the heart monitor set her nerves on edge. The girl stood off to the side as Otto exchanged a greeting with Hidehara, who responded in relatively good english. Lyla nodded a greeting when the demon spoke to her, but didn't say anything. The interpreter left to retrieve lessons, leaving the two alone. She set the six pack of coke on the side of his bed before sitting down in a near by chair. No, I never came. She sighed. Byōin ...wa watashi o...kowagara s-semasu. She explained choppily, hospitals scare her. Here, I brought coke. There's more waiting back at the room too, so hurry and get better. She joked light heartedly.

Hidehara stared at her, blinking a couple of times as he was given a coke, a cold one. He slowly had his hand take a grasp of it, as he tried to sit himself up. He was confused how to open it for a second until he found the way. He jumped slightly from the noise but he took a sip, and eventually downed it again. Then he sets down the piece of metal as he stared at Lyla. "You.....ok? Kenta....he no good." He shook his head, hating his English, and unsure if he could even communicate. He felt slightly pathetic. "What...did...he want?"

"Ah! Good! You're getting there." Otto came back and sat down on one of the chairs. "He is doing a lot better, but I guess it's because this is the only thing he is REALLY learning. Lyla, have you heard of 'living the language'? Reason he is doing really well is that since he lives in a nation that uses it everyday...it starts getting easier and easier. If you spoke Japanese, that will be really hard since no one here really speaks it. The main language is English, we hope to have him semi-fluent in a few months." He then stared at Lyla. "He'll be out of here tonight, they just want to check on him to make sure everything is running smoothly. Thankfully, government insurance does wonders. If your not comfortable being here, then's alright...he'll see you tonight." From then, he proceeded with the lessons to Hidey.
________________________________________________________________

Hidey came back to the dorms that night, feeling tired from sitting all day. He opened the door to see Lyla who was probably studying or whatever she was doing. He in all honestly was afraid he would be too late. When he saw Kenta get THAT close to the portal, he feared he was too late. It reminded him of the mother he tried to save, but was too late for. It made him a bit fearful of losing someone and not being able to do something. He then went to the girl and had one arm around her with his head resting on her shoulder. He took a shaky breath before speaking. "I....thank...that...I got....there in time." He then tightened his arm and then spoke again: "I....lost.....mom. Not..l-lose...another." He then let go and then stared at her eyes: "I...trying...to speak...y-ou...speech."

I'm fine. Lyla shrugged and smiled. She was more worried about the demon in front of her, who suffered a far worse outcome than she did. Kenta...I don't know what his motive was. We're trying to figure it out. She said before Otto came back into the room. She nodded along with his speech. It made sense to the student, to use a technique like that to produce faster results. Of course, she wasn't so much learning Japanese for her the benefit of Hidehara, she was learning to keep her out of the dark when demons like Kenta spoke in their foreign language.

Oh, he'll be out of here tonight? Lyla felt relieved. That means that he was safe, that he was relatively healthy. She stood up and ran her hands over her jeans to smooth out any wrinkles before backing out of the room. I'll see you later then. She ducked out of the door and quickly left the hospital. Hidehara was finally coming back, maybe she should tidy up the room a bit. It'd give her something to do.
_______

Lyla was sitting on her bed, reading another used book she had bought at a garage sale. It was yet another cheesy romance, filled with unrealistic expectations and heart fluttering moments. The door opened and Lyla looked up to see Hidehara walking in through the door. He looked exhausted, absolutely beat. But, the girl supposed that if anyone got injured like he did they would feel tired too. She nodded a hello before returning to her book, only to feel the demon put an arm around her. She could feel her face turn hot from the close contact and held her breath. Hidehara had lost his mother? That made them alike in some way then.... She looked up at him when he let go and offered a small smile. I'm glad you got there in time too. She admitted. She was incredibly thankful. Without Hidehara she'd be who knows where with who knows who doing who knows what. Your english is starting to get better. She encouraged him. He was making amazing progress in that aspect. You should rest, Hidehara. Lyla had picked up some extra pillows and blankets and had set them on his bed in case he wanted them. The more rest you get, the faster you'll get better.

Hidey nodded and saw that she had a pillow and blanket for him in which he nodded. "Arigato." He then set up the pillows and blanket and had himself all covered up, with his head on the pillow as he fell asleep.
________________________________________________________________

When morning had come in, Hidey was feeling fine, however he still felt dizzy. He could see the girl was still asleep and decided he needed to train....since he was laying around for a week. With that he got up and decided to leave a note, this time in English.

"Fight at Tree Park....next door. Come if you need I."

He thought it seemed weird but he shrugged it off as he left to go and train. He made sure the bird was watching the girl in case anything went wrong. He walked off to the park next door and found an isolated place in the forest to where he used his sword to slash at the trees, sharpening it up as best as he could. That was when he felt something vibrate. He checked his pocket. He remembered Otto giving him something called a 'phone' which sends out their spirit in there to talk to someone far away [or so Hidey thinks anyway]. So when Otto called, he picked up. "H-Hello?"

"Hidey, where are you?'

"Tree...park...next to Lyla's....home."

"I know what you're talking about. But why..." Otto then realized he might be forcing too much English to it. "Watashi wa anata ga nani o itteru no ka shitte iruga, naze anata wa arimasu ka?" Hidey felt relieved, finally he could speak his native language. "Torēningu, watashi wa isshūkan no tame ni sono beddo no ue ni fusetsu sa rete imasu." With that Otto responded by saying he will be there. And that he needed to talk to him about....certain things. So once the phone beeped, Hidey continued his training with his sword.

As he trained, Otto arrived to see him cutting it down. "Shinchō ni, koreha, hogo sa reta ryōikidesu. Dakara, nani no ki o bassai shimasen." Hidey grumbled, not getting why people these days are so sensitie to that, aka the cutting of a tree. "Where's Lyla?" Hidey had to stop and shrug. "She's.....sleeping. I...told her I...am here." "Ok good, cause we both need to be in discussion."

Ted in the meantime was taking calls from the government, since he had a lot of 'explaining' to do. "Look, we got a problem with these things! How long are we gonna lie?! They're going to find out eventually!.....YES YES I know. We cannot have another discrimination era on the community, but this is real! There is a terrorist group that can somehow summon demons and people from ancient Japan! I have no idea what purpose! But this is dangerous!......Yes, we do have one of them....his name is Hidehara...he's an ally....what?! WHY?! He has done nothing but defeat those bastards! YOU THINK LOCKING HIM UP WILL HELP US?!.....SCREW THAT! THE DAY YOU FIND THE ULTIMATE WEAPON TO KILL EVERY ONE OF THEM WITHOUT ANY CASUALTIES IS THE DAY HE IS LOCKED UP!" He then stood there in silence with the phone on his hands. "YES! IF THE ******** PRESIDENT HAS TO MEET WITH HIM THEN FINE! But he is part of the FBI, NOTHING IS GONNA TOUCH HIM! He is a citizen of the United States and he has his rights, so don't treat him like a ******** Muslim!"

Another silence.

"What....really? Why? Isn't the guy busy?.....Well alright I guess, if that'll get you guys to get off the man's back then fine....when?.....TOMORROW?! HOW ARE YOU--" Ted then slams the phone and got aggravated, this got complicated pretty quickly. "They need to know a citizen will see as well. But this....might be dangerous for her." He then decided to go to where Otto was, seeing this was important.

Lyla returned to her book, glancing up under her eyelashes at the demon. He looked relaxed, almost peaceful as he slept. There was still that sense of being on guard that was so familiar to her though, and she couldn't help but smile just a little before returning to her read. A few hours passed, the girl lost in the book, before she felt tired enough to sleep. With heavy eyelids, she closed the book and curled up under her blankets before drifting off to sleep.
____________

Morning light flooded in through the window, waking Lyla from her deep sleep. She had had pleasant dreams last night, the first time in a week that that was the case. It had been a slightly obscure dream, in the way her dreams usually were. She yawned and sat up to stretch when she noticed that Hidehara was gone. For a brief moment, Lyla felt panicked. What if he had wondered out in some sort of daze, or if he had been abducted? She pulled on a pair of sneakers before she noticed the note. On a little white piece of paper, clumsy handwriting had scrawled out the location of the demon. Lyla couldn't help but laugh at his grammar, but tucked the note away and kicked off her shoes. She went to open her window, to let the light breeze come and circulate through the room and heard the now familiar chirp of the bird Hidehara had watching her. She felt comforted by its presence. With that Lyla decided to pay a visit to the used bookstore down the street. She pulled on an appropriate outfit consisting of shorts and an old college t-shirt before kicking on her old sneakers and leaving her room.

The walk to the bookstore was pleasant enough. The streets didn't sit in the more popular tourist part of the city, so there were relatively few people. The weather was fair, and the sun was shining warmly. It was a remarkable morning. Making it to the bookstore, the girl ducked in and began sorting through the different genres. She had quite a bit of money to spend, and the books here were cheap.

Having stocked up on a sufficient amount of books in genres ranging from mystery to comedy to historical, she left to return to the school's campus. Lyla had pulled out a book involving a variety of classic fairy tales and was reading as she walked. People moved out of the way for her and she managed to return to her room without incident. Dumping the pile of freshly purchased books on her bed, she sat down to read while waiting for Hidehara to return. Hopefully he was alright.... Lyla shook off the feeling. Did she really have the right to worry about him? He was nothing more than her protector and she was nothing more than a hostess. The girl buried herself in her book, wanting to dispel away with such unusual concerns.

As Hidey and Otto sat outside, with Hidey training while learning English, Ted arrived and looked a bit frustrated. "What's wrong mr. Big man?" Otto teased which made Ted frown. "Are you still going to laugh when the Big guy from the White House wants to see Hidey?!" That made Otto's face turned 360 degrees. "Wha-Why?" Otto had his arm flung up ans about, with Ted doing the same. "I wanna why too! IT WAS EITHER THAT Or Hidey would be locked up?!"

"What the flying ******** both their arms and body language so....animated, Hidey had to chuckle at the interaction. "WHAT THE ******** ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!" That made Hidey shut up, since he read that expression to be aggressive. "You....looked funny." "Remember Ted, he doesn't know ALL of the English language." That made Ted have to sigh, as he then adjusted his shirt. Otto then had to explain Hidey the situation. "Hidey, mondai ga arimashita. Watashi wa kono kuni no `rīdā' wa ashita o ai shitai to omoimasu. Tsumari, anata no saikō no kōdō ni suru hitsuyō ga arimasu OK?"

Hidey was shocked that the 'leader' wanted to meet with him...why? He wanted to ask but just nodded. "It's settled, maybe you should find Lyla then and explain to her the situation." Hidey just blinked which made Otto sigh, and have to rephrase it in Japanese. "Ai...." He then left the both men to go and figure out what is going on.
________________________________________________________________

Hidey came back to the room to see the girl reading....again. He shook his head from annoyance. "Wake...up and....see the roses." He commented before then taking a breath. "Big...man....sees me tomorrow...I...need help...preparing." He had to ask her since he had no idea what to do...formal things were different here than it was at his home. "Do you know...how....it...works?" He had to ask since he figured she might know what to do. "They...c-called him....President."

Its smell the roses. Lyla corrected, not looking up from her book. She wasn't exactly a social butterfly, and the plot of the story was just starting to pick up. She turned a page, listening to Hidehara talk while reading. So he had to meet someone important tomorrow? The girl continued to read, waiting for the demon to enlighten her on who exactly he'd be meeting. When he informed her that he was going to be face to face with the head of the United States government, she quickly closed her book. You're doing what? The girl stood up and ran a hand through her hair, she was in complete shock.

Hidehara was going to meet the President. The President! This was an insane opportunity. One that the girl hoped wouldn't end badly. Yeah, yeah. I can help you. Lyla pulled out her laptop and began to type in what to prepare for such a visit. Hopefully you bought a suit. You need to dress nice for him. Lyla commented, pulling up pictures of other people meeting with the President. They were all dressed very well, everyone seemed to be wearing their best for the occasion. The girl pointed to the pictures, trying to relay to Hidehara that he needed to look his best. You'll need to start packing tonight, since you leave tomorrow. She said, typing her words into google translate to ease any confusion. Would the demon be able to behave himself in front of the leader of the free world? Hopefully Ted or Otto would escort him anywhere that involved the public eye. Who knows what kind of trouble he could get into?

Hidey was confused. "T-They say...he coming here. I...I am not going....any...place." He then grabbed her hand. "Come!" He wanted her to come with her to get those stuff. "I...rather....wear...kimono." He would rather wear that more than anything but he guessed the girl was right. "Let's...go."
________________________________________________________________

He and Lyla went to a store in which specialized in the kind of clothes she wanted him to wear. He entered the store and took a look at the clothes in which he had found strange. As exploring the place, a lady came by. "Hello~" Her tone immediately got Hidey cautious, because it was a flirtatious tone. "H-Hi." "Is there...anything you need?" Hidey seemed confused on what she was trying to say and eyed Lyla hoping she'll say something. But he ended up alone. "Just.....these....any good?" That grammar situation got the saleswoman curious, she wondered if he was a foreigner per say. "Any preference?" Hidey had to rub his neck. "comfortable....not tight.." The saleswoman seemed to drag him along. "We got PLENTY of that! Follow me!" Hidey then looked back at Lyla, and his face screamed 'HELP ME OUT! WHO THE ******** IS THIS CHICK?!'
_______________________________________________________________
(Edited: 3:22pm)
Hidey came out of the dressing room wearing a tuxedo, for the fourth time as he adjusted it and kind of looked down to feel the tight shoes. The saleswoman complimented his appearance, saying how cute he was. He had a hand through his thick hair as he really hated the whole tuxedo thing, but he had no choice. He did go to Lyla though: "I....How do...I appear?"

He's coming here? Lyla was shocked. The President was coming to this little beach town to meet Hidehara, the idea was insane. Well, at least it's better than letting him run around the country's capital. Lyla was about to tell him some good places to look at when he grabbed her hand and dragged her out the door. Perhaps the demon would be more comfortable in a kimono, but with the lack of availability, he'd have to settle for a nice suit.

Pushing through the crowds of people on the street, they ended up at a relatively nice little store that specialized in formal wear. Hidehara had just started to browse through the racks of tuxedos and suits when a saleswoman approached the two. She was relatively attractive, and her flirtatious tone seemed to make the demon suspicious. Lyla watched the exchange with a small smile, finding just the smallest bit of humor in her eagerness. Then she was suddenly dragging him away and the blonde had to let out a laugh when Hidehara looked back in desperation. She shrugged her shoulders and spread her hands to gesture that he was on his own before turning to sift through the sales rack once again.

Lyla was currently reading a magazine and lounging on a nearby chair when Hidehara came out of the dressing room again. The tuxedo fit his personality well, and it looked remarkably nice on him. You look good. Is it comfortable? She asked. Of course, the demon would probably feel more comfortable in something else, but courtesy took priority here. Approaching the president in an ancient Japanese kimono wouldn't look very appropriate, especially when trying to convey that Hidehara didn't mean any harm to the people of the US. It suits you. She added before putting the magazine back on the disorganized pile on the table.

Hidey listened to her question, and asked if it was comfortable. "C-Comfortable?...Yeah....it's fine." He stared at her as she complimented on how it suits her?..."W...What does...that mean?" He had to ask since his mind couldn't comprehend on what she meant. So he just thought maybe it was...some sort of compliment? "T-Thanks." He then decided this would b for the best since....well...he rather not look around anymore, 'specially with that woman staring at him like a noblewoman toward jewelry. "Let's...pay and leave." He then went back to the dressing room to get back to his normal clothes and pay for the suit himself. He in all honestly rather wear his kimono, but he had no choice. So after paying, he left with Lyla...and since he was in a hurry to get out of there, he was holding onto Lyla's arm to book it.

Outside the store with a bag holding onto the suit, he gasped for breath as he was full of relief. He finally was out of there with every body part he owned still attached. "We....safe." He then adjusted the hairs on his forehead before then realizing he was still holding onto Lyla before letting go. "We....got...stuff...what else...you want..........to do?" He then saw a sign at a wall that was mentioning a boardwalk which got Hidey intrigued. "A....market....." It reminded him of home where he would wonder around to buy things. "Let's...go!" He pointed at the sign. Before then deciding to drag her away anyway, but he wanted to drop the bag at her dorm since he figured he might forget about it.

After dropping off the bag, he had to figure out where the place was. But it didn't take long as crowds are forming at the lines to get inside the place. He was facinated! There are machines moving so fast, and screams...more like of joy and exhilaration than panic and fear. "Is....this form of....fun here?' He could see the place bordered next to the beach which can also make it more fun. "I...see..girls are..not covered...why?" He pointed at the girls who were wearing two piece bathing suits which to him was shocking to him.

Lyla shrugged, "I just think it looks good on you." She explained. Hidehara seemed to be slightly uncomfortable being in the shop, so he turned to quickly change out of the suit. The saleswoman seemed to be hopelessly caught up with the demon, so much so it made the student laugh to herself. She caught a very nasty look before the saleswoman turned to help another customer. When the demon returned from the dressing room, he quickly payed for the suit and hustled the girl out of the shop by her arm. He was taller and faster than she was, so Lyla had to scramble to keep up with him.

Once out of the shop, Hidehara seemed to finally relax. Had it really been that stressful for him? The demon let go of her before formulating a sentence in english. He wanted to do something else? Well, Lyla didn't have any classes to study for and the nice weather was bringing in a lot of different attractions. The demon seemed to pick something out that interested him, and the girl looked to see where he pointed. The boardwalk? Sure, lets go there. She managed to get out before Hidehara started to drag her away. They'd need to have a talk about how that was socially acceptable later.

Once his bag was dropped off at their room, and Lyla had grabbed some extra cash they set off to the boardwalk. Lines were forming all over the place, and the two took a spot in order to wait. Screams could be heard from the various rides, smells of fried food wafted all over the place, and the waves of the beach attracted plenty of people. "Yeah! The rides are a lot of fun, you'll have to go on a few. She said and pointed to an impressive looking rollercoaster. She turned to check for entry prices when Hidehara asked why the women here wore such scandalous clothing. She shrugged. "Some girls like to wear things like that. It attracts guys or something I guess. It's pretty common."

Hidey gave out a disgusted face. "Pathetic.....no room....for...thinking." He was trying to say there is no room for imagination. Most guys want to see all that, but Hidey liked to imagine. It was like hunting for treasure, it was a pleasure for him. It then had him remember how he was tired and decided to go to a Geisha threshold where he wanted to unwind by having a woman warming his bed, he remembered having his hands slowly getting the soft cloth out the girl, and touching her skin. It made him snap out of his thoughts when they got closer to the booths.

He mumbled a few Japanese words when asked how many. He pointed at unlimited which he knew it meant it was..well...always there. So with his payment, they both had their wrists tied in some sort of paper wristbands as they entered the place. It seemed fun and everyone was laughing, so he knew it was some sort of social event. So once they entered, Lyla recommend a ride on a roller coaster, so they decided to wait in one. It seemed like the wait was not long. Both of them got up on the car, where the safety measures confused Hide. It got to the point Lyla had to help him because he did not like how tight it was. As the ride started, Hidey got somewhat nervous and it got worse when they went downhill, Hidey flipped and started cursing in Japanese. "WHAT FLYING ********! KONO TAWAGOTO O FAKKU! KOKO KARA WATASHI O EMASU!" He screamed as the ride went through twists and turns, downhill and uphill then it went to an abrupt stop as Hidey finally calmed down. They got out of that ride with Hidey dizzy and trying to get his balance. He then wanted to try a water ride which only required an uphill, a turn and then a huge downhill. He preferred that since it was a small adrenaline. And since it was somewhat hot, he got wet so it cooled him down. He laughed at it though, and now liked water rides.

So at the bumper boats, he was more than pleased to get his enemies and had way TOO much fun for a 22 year old on that. Afterward, he decided he was hungry so looking at the fried food, he decided to try a ' cheese hamburger'. Getting two of them, they both sat down at a bench. "Water rides....I like." He then took a bite and was confused about the taste but it seemed...satisfying, so he kept eating it. It had tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and the burger patty. "This...better than...book."

Lyla laughed and shook her head at Hidehara. He must be one of the few guys that doesn't appreciate, even a little, the girls who walk around wearing bikinis. Of course there were guys out there that found it embarrassing, or distressful, or what have they, but in a town like this guy's more often than not enjoyed scantily clad women. Lyla was neither here nor there on the issue. She didn't wear strappy bikinis like a lot of the college girls, but she didn't wear one piece swim suits either.

The two made it to the front of the line and approached the ticket booth. Lyla had money with her and was more than willing to pay, but Hidehara seemed to take initiative. They purchased the unlimited wristband, and once the paper was fastened to their wrists they entered. People were all over the place. Kids were dragging their parents to cotton candy machines and games and rides. Couples were walking hand in hand. Groups of kids belonging to day care centers were wearing matching shirts and receiving lectures about safety rules. It was a lot to take in as Lyla and Hidehara headed for a rollercoaster. It was colossal, and its twists and turns caused plenty of screams. The line was short and fast moving and the two climbed into a car. Lyla pulled down the safety bar, and turned to help Hidehara with his. The ride started and the cars shot off. They went up a steep incline before plummeting to the earth while performing a variety of twists and turns. The demon was cursing up a storm next to her, while Lyla screamed so much her throat started to hurt. The ride halted abruptly and she clamored out, feeling lighter than before.

Hidehara wanted to try a water ride, and Lyla accompanied him. It wasn't as intense as the roller coaster, and the girl felt relieved. The ride produced a giant splash of water that soaked all the passengers, much to their enjoyment. When it was over, the demon seemed to be in a much better mood and Lyla couldn't help but join in on his laughter. They walked around for a small while, until Hidehara pointed out the bumper boats. The girl hung back, feeling somewhat nauseous from the roller coaster still. She watched the demon ram into the other passengers, seeming to enjoy himself almost too much.

After he had his fun, Hidehara browsed through the different street vendors until he found a suitable place to try food. He ordered two cheeseburgers, and they sat down and started to eat. I can tell you like them. Lyla laughed before popping a piece of gum in her mouth. She had a mild obsession with mint gum and couldn't go a day without chewing some. Yeah... The girl sighed, he was right. Its more fun to be doing stuff with people, I suppose. She admitted. Lyla was just too preoccupied with her studies. She never had many friends, and those friends were always too busy to do much.

Hidey then stopped eating his food and stared at the girl. "Why....are you...against making memories?" He remembered hearing that from Ted and what Otto told him it meant so he used it. He then continued eating the burger until he was done. He did feel some stuff on his lips and cheek, so he grabbed a napkin they provided and wiped his face. He then happened to look up and see the woman in those bikinis walking about. He had to look down so he could show his disgusted face without anyone seeing.

He then remembered his drink, and downed a coke again but this time drank water. He had Otto warn him that Coke was like alcohol almost, dehydration was common with the drink. So he had decided when he had a coke, he would drink water so he would not get dehydrated. He could see Lyla was semi-upset and he wondered what there was to do about it. He then had an arm around her and brought her close. "No use......getting....sad. For once,.........be free." He then let go and got up. "Come...there's....more to.....look." He had his hand out as he held onto hers and helped her up once she was done eating. He was taught not do anything fast now as he was suppose to wait for an hour. So he had decided to look at the games. The first thing was the crossbow shot which it was to aim at the target, and since one is looking at an Ancient Japanese man who had to learn to be accurate, it was easy to win the big prize. Winning a big stuffed animal, he gave it to Lyla. "For you." He then heard the guy said. "Aaaw, what a keeper! That lady is lucky." He ignored it since in all honestly, he had no idea what he meant.

The games have continued: Ring Toss, Spill the Milk, Fish Bowl Pass, anything! He did notice a psychic and pointed at it. "What's.....that?" He had to ask.
