Sorry for jumping in late to the discussion but aaaaaaaah!

I finally got to see it!

I totally totally love the flashbacks of Gideon and Hannibal from S2! That was elegant, superb and wonderful! I could go on and on about it really!

I ALSO HATE THE BEVERAGE!

Ah! What I would give it have said beverage removed! Oh be still my heart. heart

I am curious to see what Bedelia's and Hannibal's relationship leads. That ominous clue given by the poor gentleman murdered at the end. That whole "that's what they feed their food" line or whatever. It makes me wonder if Hannibal will end up eating Bedelia?

As for what happened I am starting to think perhaps Hannibal had a hand in her murdering Zach's character. ("Given his history." emotion_awesome )

I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE.

Saw tonights episode and I only have one serious question for Bryan Fuller..

WHO THE ******** GREENLIGHTED THE PRODUCTION OF THAT UNHOLY OFFSPRING OF LIGHTING AND DEATH THAT WILL HAUNT MY NIGHTMARES FOREVER??!! WHAT THE ******** WAST THAT CORPSE DEER?? SERIOUSLY I ALMOST DIED WHEN I SAW IT...WHAT THE ******** WAS THAT?!
PostPosted: Thu Jun 11, 2015 11:29 pm

^ Agreed. That corpse deer thing was bad CG but it was one of the creepiest things I've seen in a while. I also love how this episode cleared up a lot of issues I had with the season finale of 2. Abigail was always odd. And last season, I just couldn't understand the end. Even under Stockholm Syndrome she was a pretty pathetic character and I didn't get why she attacked Alana rather than staying hidden or something. And then she goes over to Hannibal while he's wielding a knife and attacked Will? But ghost Will/Abigail actually trusted and believed in Hannibal. I guess she thought she would ride off into the sunset and start anew with a new family.

Deer god, that episode. emotion_0A0 heart

I'm really happy that the end of S2 was revisited, and that we got to see Abigail again. And I'm pleased that we'll be getting more insight on Hannibal's past, I also like the inspector character.

But best of all was that freakish corpse deer, gosh Will has the most freakish nightmare fantasies. I mean yeah, the CG could use some work (especially the stag at the end of S2), but it was still perfectly terrifying. I thought the deer/stag/wendigo obsession might drop after Will imagines the stag dying, but lol nope.

I'm not sure, but I think Bryan Fuller was totally going for that reaction right there! That's why.

That's the thing that broke my heart the most. Abigail was Hannibal's gift to Will and they would create something so beautiful together but Will didn't want that and it broke Hannibal's heart so the surprise was ruined and Hannibal had to ruin it all. Or at least that's how i interpreted it.

I thought that too when the stag was dying in the end of season 2 and a part of me was really upset about that so I am really happy to see it back.

Yeah. I knew why Hannibal killed Abigail. William was cheating so he got an abortion. Honestly, it only broke my heart when I realized Will was still carrying her like that and now she's like a voice in his head that's saying rewind that teacup! (That teacup thing is from the Hannibal books and for some reason seeing it makes me giddy.)

I love the books so when the tea cup thing came up in the show I knew I would have to have a tea party for the primier and I did. It was glorious but we didn't break any of my antique tea cups. I'm not surprised he carried abigail like that, he kinda did the same with beverly for an episode so i was expecting it.

I had a really hard time paying attention to Primavera. It was a beautiful episode, just so deep and the scenery was great. I loved how it flowed into flashbacks so seamlessly.

But...idk. It was too slow. I hope the rest of the season is more like Antipasto. I think I'm more invested in Bedelia's character than Will now or something. :'x

Good. I thought I was losing it. I couldn't pay attention either. Nothing in it seemed important to me even though I know there was important information in the episode.

How much important information was there, though? All I got from it is that Will is in Italy and crazier than ever. And Hannibal used to live/kill in Italy 20 years ago.

tbqh it felt kind of like Will Graham fan service to me. sweatdrop And I'm apparently not as big of a Will fan anymore.

I wanna know what happens to her. I feel like bedelia is going to get eaten before she gets rescued, but i don't think we're going to see any of that this week because isn't Will heading to hannibals ancestral home?

I guess the fate of Abigail was important. We learned that Hannibal is the Il Mostro. And....maybe most importantly we learned that 20yrs younger Hannibal was a stud. Rawwrrr
