Philip turned to see Callum walk into the living room as he heard the man speak. "Yes, Sarah has been giving me a tour of the living areas, I do hope that is alright. Your home is rather lovely Callum." When Sarah spoke of the surprise Philip winked and laughed. "Don't worry daddy dearest, I wont let her do anything dangerous. You can trust me." He said after a moment wondering how Callum would respond or react to his affectionate name calling.

(hehe it would be after they get romantic of course >.<)

"Dont count on it Callum, the name just fits you. If I fall for you I would use something much different to call you. Like... Cally, or Cal, simply say my love. So far you haven't won my heart." He said but he smiled. "But your on your way to that I would say."

He was glad that Callum trusted him with Sarah and to know that he wouldn't let Sarah do anything dangerous. As Sarah gave a hint Philip had to laugh. She was just too cute. "Yes, I have seen the pool and it isn't too dark I did live in the ocean, there is no light there. Though, it would be safe to assume its a chlorine pool right?" He asked after a moment not having gone into the water himself.

The merman looked down for a moment as Callum laughed. He wasn't sure what the other thought of the name he would give if he did end up loving this strong and powerful man before him. If he was back home, Callum would make an ideal mate for him, he was protective, strong, caring, and well off, something that the women, or submissive men looked for in the father of their children. He was brought out of his private thoughts when Sarah asked what chlorine was.

"Its not a problem per say, but it can do things to my scales or make me sick. For short periods being in such water is alright, but not if I spend any length of time." He shook his head at having Callum build another pool. "You don't need to do that, it would be too much work for something not important."

Philip laughed at the caring for a sick merman. "I don't know how you care for one either, not really. Sure we get sick, but it was mainly from pollution or because of shark bites. Those things tend to be fatal." He said solemnly. "It would be easier for Sarah to learn how to swim in salt water as it makes you float more." He said thinking about the little girl that was still next to them. As he spoke he stifled a yawn not really ready to sleep though he was tired.

((hehe... I might have some ideas but don't know.))

"You don't have to do that Callum. just let me swim in the ocean ever once in a while and I will be happy." The merman said though he laughed at Sarah's dislike for salt water. As Callum asked if he had been shown the bedrooms he shook his head. "I figured you would be the one to do that. I didn't want to go to the wrong room anywyays." He said after a moment not wanting to let Sarah know that he was sleeping in the same bed as her father.

Philip looked at Callum seeming to understand that the man was thinking about taking trips to the beach. If he was able to return to the beach he would be overjoyed. Sure he was aware he wouldn't actually go home or anything, but at least he could swim in his native waters.

"I am tired now, a rest would be welcome. Are you going to be joining me?" He asked a light blush forming on his cheeks as he looked to Callum then away. "That is unless you are busy with work still."

"Honestly, I would rather have you stay in the bed with me then let you sleep on the couch. I... would feel safer that was as well. If it is needed, I am willing to let Sarah think we are dating so she doesn't get any ideas about us sharing a bed." He didn't want to admit that this silver haired man was starting to grow on him. Maybe it was that Callum was his perfect match, he didn't know, but he was already starting to feel something for the other. Philip was just afraid to show anything for the other, to let anyone get close to him lest he get hurt once again.

"Well, why don't we head to your room?"

Philip didn't pull away when he was held by Callum, instead the merman blushed and looked away for a moment not saying anything about being the other's lover. As he was led into the other's room he looked around a bit surprised by how big it was and how lovely the room looked. "Would it really be so bad..." Philip asked himself not realizing he was speaking out loud. "As long as you are happy with me on that side, I shall sleep there. Though, has no one tried to get in through the window before?" He asked curiously. "I don't know what it is about you Callum, but your the first human, well demon, Ive felt comfortable around. I am willing to try this lover thing you keep bringing up." He whispered thinking that if Callum didn't hear him then he wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. He said what he needed to, and hopefully that would be the end of it.
