"D-don't tell me that," Oliver replied in an equally tiny voice, his cheeks starting to go a little red for an entirely different reason. Remembering would be hard, but forgetting... That would be impossible. Everyone had their own ghosts to live with. The kid took some comfort in knowing his own death wouldn't leave many memories behind to haunt the living. When it came, it would be easy.
"T-try not to drink so much," he added timidly.

The only answer was a waved hand as Ian walked away, the gentle clink of a bottle against Ian's leg as he walked the only sound in the otherwise silent grounds.
