Sag and Kenyon carried Ember's mothers body into the mortuary placing it upon a preparation table. Before Sagittarius could turn around to ask Ember what color she would like to bury her mother caused him to pause with the question. Ember froze at the sight of the coffins inside the mortuary and tears began to flow down from her eyes down her cheeks. Sagittarius gave Ember a moment to process what was about to take place and happen before embracing her. He motioned Kenyon to leave the room briefly and than motions to prepare the blue coffin for her mother. Meanwhile Sag was running his fingers through her hair before speaking.

"Ember. . . ." he said softly. "Are you sure you can do this part? I can always request a female pack member to help me dress your mother for me." he said respectfully and being thoughtful of her feelings. "What's on your mind? Hmmm. . ." he asked gently. "Because up until now you have been doing really well. I am proud of you. This isn't an easy task for anyone. If you can not carry on this task. Let us help you." he continued softly and than waited for her to answer him.

Kelila sat on the earthy bank of the pond on her knee. her hands turning a blush cherry red from the cold water. but she took no wince or notice at her numbing hands.

placing the cleaned shells into a clean basket and took another and submerging it under the water and rubbing it between her thumb and fingers. but as she did, Kaskae walked over and joined her duty.
She sighed as he began talking. she renowned that he seen to sound like a nervous wreck, but his mood seemed to change to that of a pup asking a million questions at once.

She smirked over her shoulder, " ya, I come the far north. Probably more north then you have ever ventured" she said with a mused chuckle.she was a women of few words, as some may have guessed. but after giving him a pausing silence that would drive even a cricket insane. " but you would be wrong in assuming that these powers of mine are hereditary" she said sounding as as eager for conversation. She still felt as if she still owed him for helping her this morning." but... you may have to try a little harder if you want a redemption on that date" she said teasing him.

Ember was thankful for the words Sagittarius said to her, and was comforted by his embrace. "Thank you." She whispered softly as she made her way to the door and exited the building. Once outside she shifted into her firey wolf form and took off fast to the pack housing so she could get ready and also grab a few things.

Kaskae worked hard knowing how important this task was for everyone to complete together for Ember's mother. Although he was very much enjoying this conversation with Kelila. There was a hint of shyness and attempts to make conversations which caused him to want to facepalm himself. He felt like a teenage pup again. Yet Kelila answered his questions despite how silly the seemed to him. Such as: " ya, I come the far north. Probably more north then you have ever ventured" and " but you would be wrong in assuming that these powers of mine are hereditary" which made him chuckle. Her comment about the date caught his attention " but... you may have to try a little harder if you want a redemption on that " .

"Hmmmm. . .I see now. I like the challenge." he said finishing with his basket of seashells. "So, you've ventured north. Oh, this pack has seen it's share of northern name. The northern artic is where this pack originates from my dear." he said sharing. "Of coarse my family didn't begin in the Moon pack of coarse. That is personal and more classified information. I shall save for a date." he smirked. "But I must complement on your powers. Care to share. If they weren't passed on abilities. Than care to share how you came upon such amazing gifts." he asked. He knew she might as well be playful with him as he was about his families past. "So, tell me my ice angel. How can I redeem myself for a chance to go on a date with you." he smirks with a wink.

Kelila smirked to herself. few males would seldom approach her in the past let alone, try flirting with her. She sighed summoning her spear to her side. The spear was crystal white with symbols and figures painted all around the shaft of the weapon, made of narwhal ivory it looked quite beautiful. Only to stab it into the earth.Kelila suddenly unlaced her shawl from her shoulders only to throw it over the spear.

As Kaskae worked as he chatted, she mused " good. you'll find I am nothing but a challenge" she said placing some shells in a clean basket with the others. suddenly she noticed that one of the straps on her thighs had broken and took a minute to take it off " ahhh.. shoot!" she said throwing it over with her stuff, meanu=ing to mend it later and then turned to continue the last of her job, "yes I am well aware of that, I know the scent of a northerner like a tree knows rain. but I doubt that anyone here is from the proverbial shadow I am from.. but I can tell you one thing. if my home-pack was here--- " she trailed off as she grabbed the last of the shells and started to clean them.

As he kept talking making light of the conversation he suddenly brought up her powers. The few remaining shells fell in the pond. She froze. everything that seemed like long frozen memories burst opened and flooded back in mind and body. a pain shot through her, like a lighting through a tree. but none that looked upon her, would suggest that she was in pain. She peered over her shoulder at him. eyes full of sorrowful mysterious pain. she then turned back into the pond and stared at her reflection. " -- that was very long ago time ago --" she said with sustain, grabbing the shells that she dropped and threw them in the basket, as she got up and began to suddenly leave or attempted too.

Lusio nodded to Lulu's response in wanting him to join her. "Very well," he smiled. He had notice her blush which almost made him show his own. Then looking on over to Ariella and Asariel, "If everyone looks done just sent the others back to retire to get ready for the funeral." His own body was feeling exhausted at not even getting some sleep but held it together. Lusio turns to Lulu, "Lets be on our way." Then leading Lulu towards the mortuary house to greet and help Sagittarius. "Surely after today, I need a goodnights rest," he told Lulu as they walked.

There something beautiful he found in Kelila. He wasn't quite sure what it was but he found her fascinating. He admired her spear made of narwhal ivory it was quite a piece of weaponary to behold. Kaskae listened to her intentively with interest especially when she shared knowing he was a northerner. Although when the discussion trailed in the direction of her pack the past suddenly had negative affect on her. It caused her to freeze over and return to a sorrowfullness in her eyes. All she said was " that was a very long time ago --" Kelila turned finally finishing her task and making an attempt to exit. Kaskae kept to himself for a brief moment before saying or moving. He gently moved and gently grabbed her forearm.

"When you are able to speak of your past you will and if you don't. That's okay. I respect that. The past is best kept the past." he said looking to her beautiful eyes. "I only wish to get to know you as much as I can. I know I hardly know you but I am drawn to you." he said pointing to her heart. "If the ice angel will give this other northerner a break and chance to prove his self worth." he smiled. "Wanna hang out until it's time? We still have an hour." he elbowed her playfully.

Lusio had dismissed the rest of their helpers as they walked off to go help Sagittarius. As they walked down the narrow path to the mortuary Lulu listened to Lusio as he spoke. She nodded in agreement.
"Yes, it has been quite eventful lately. . ."
Lulu sighed softly, but she looked around to make sure no one was looking. Once the coast was clear, she step in closer to him. Her arm wrapped around his, as if it looked like he was just escorting her.
"Thank you for helping me today, I couldn't have done it without you. Especially the situation between Aden and Kaskae then Artemis and Procya. I don't know what has gotten into them lately. . . The Heiresses in particular. Does there seem something off about Procya? As of lately, that is."
They continued to walk down the path, the birds chirped in song and the wind blew a bit. She shivered slightly at the feel of the chilled wind, which caused her to move closer to Lusio. The arm that was wrapped around his stayed there as she took her hand and held his.
