Domina Mortem Dr R-lyeh As she cut them down, They reformed and started rising again. She did notice that some prisoners had strange things attached to their faces! She may have thought she faced Zombies But these were not Zombies..These were beings that were corrupted by the Far Realm. Meaning they were powered by entities far older than the Universe itself! They kept coming and coming non stop. They first attacked the prisoners when they came through the breech, but once the prisoners were corrupted by the far realm the more susceptible they were to these strange things attaching to the prisoners faces. The symbiosis was easier for these strange things.That gate, which was what held them trapped for a time had them contained but the more this area was corrupted the stronger they got. When she opened the gate, it was the straw that broke the camels back! They poured out by the hundreds..Thereby very overwhelming in many numbers. This was not something this mortal could Not control. She may have thought she was doing something constructive but it was pure folly..for behind the corrupted prisoners came creatures not of this world..Cranial Encysters darted out and shot forth crawling towards her to overwhelm her. These otherworldly vermin would attack a victim by charging to a victim..Migrating to their head and plunging their needle-tipped legs into a victim's skull!! Once that happens there is no escape!! If they manage to grapple on their intended victim's head..They will not let go!! There were at least from close range as many as fifty of them, but in this darkened area they may be more. They swarmed like ants from an ant hill..The only true only purpose is to to attack any beings that are not of the far realm..Many of the prisoners already had many attached to them as they still ran about screaming and attacking all in sight as they were being controlled by the Encrusters. Their only purpose was to infect more humanoids Rather than being concerned or shocked when she cut these things down, she was instead impressed by their ability to reconstruct on their own, this was fascinating! When the things started to pour out like that, she gave a fanged smile at the sight, her within these confined surroundings she wouldn't quite be able to achieve what she wanted, but this was raising many more questions that needed to be answered. She wasn't here to contain or stop this, rather she was here to study it, and if this spread out into the world it only meant she could watch and see how these things functioned and did, even it was as simple was converting everything. Slamming the staff of her scythe against the ground, another shock wave was sent out around her, knocking these new creatures away from her with ease, whether she could actually kill them she wasn't sure, but right now she didn't want to make herself seem like a real threat. Raising her hand up, her magic quickly formed around one of those Encrusters to form a cage like construct that would trap it, while her added necrotic magic that it was formed of would be constantly sapping its energy so it wouldn't be able to grow strong enough to break free. Turning on her heels, she started to quickly dart out of the room before anymore could surround her after that last shock wave, while her caught specimen was following in tow; Domina creating a circular shield of magic around herself so nothing could physically reach her in that bubble shield. She was more than powerful enough to make it hold until she reached that exit, or made one of her own if she had too

Dr R-lyeh Though she may have trapped just one. These things possessed a hive like mind being so close to the essence of the far realm. Sensing the one was contained, the others swarmed and surged towards her regardless of how many she attempted to knock back! Overwhelming and covering the shield she had around her, making attempts to attach to her. What she didn't understand was that anything that came from the far realm was full of the taint and madness that this alien dimension contained. Trying to study something you can't comprehend can instill madness inside ones thoughts. The Far Realm is a mix of horror, madness. The Far Realm is home to many powerful and unspeakable beings ripped from the nightmares of the darkest minds of the waking world, beings so unfathomable that their very existence is a perversion of reality itself. These beings are governed by lords of unimaginable power and knowledge completely alien. Once she managed to escape from this area, and the farther away she ventured from this blot, the more the influence of the area would lessen causing the creature to dissolve and lose it's shape and essence and disintegrate into nothing. The longer she stayed this close to this area, the more chance it would have of corrupting her very nature. This whole area was possibly tainted far beyond repair. The closer and longer she remained close to the periphery and the marrow of the blot..the more chance it had of corrupting even her. This was the reason for reality being twisted so much in this area. Lingering too long will cause irreversible damage to the mind. The more spells she cast,the stronger the influence of the far realm had a chance of twisting and causing her spells to fail and backfire.This was the wrong place to attempt study of a place for one who was not born or native to the dimension. There were entities far older than the universe itself, that she would not want to trifle with or bring their terrible notice. The Visitor remained shrouded as he watched her, His connection to the realm and his own more powerful masters fueled his power. he could remain hidden and not be detected. He could feel her necromantic energies, which he knew the more she cast spells the more the chance of her spells being corrupted by this areas influence. She was not his intended victim, and not the one he sought. He really didn't care why She was here. He just knew the longer she remained this close...The faster the damaging effects would take hold of even one such as her who is not native to the far realm Of course Domina was unaware of all of this, save for the affects of the surrounding area were having, especially as each shockwave she sent off seemed to becoming weaker or ended up reverting to slam into her own barrier instead of away; that wasn't good. Although the biggest question with her, was could a being that was already insane go even more mad? It was best not to test such a thing. Nearing the exit with her temporary prize alongside her, she glanced back, not able to sense that visitor who was hiding, but she could just feel that something else was watching her, but pinned it to just being the whole atmosphere this place created. Reaching her exit point, she made her shield disperse in a wave of energy that sent the rest of those creatures flying away from her, and without any halls to restrict her, she was able to run at full speed and be home free from the rest of them. Sadly, as she was getting further and further away, she looked back at her captured creature to see that it was starting to dissolve, making her eyes widen at the sight. "Damn." She muttered under her breath as she cast the cage to the side just as the creature disappeared entirely. All that and she came out empty handed, but, she did allow the rest freedom to get out of that place. Perhaps if it could spread out far enough she could get a wider area to work in place. Starting to tap a finger to her chin now, she was trying to figure out what the deal was with that place. Well, she did at least get to see some of the creatures and a little of what they were capable of, and whatever it was that was bleeding its influence into that building could do as well. It certainly wasn't of this world, but what was more interesting was that it couldn't survive outside of its own atmosphere given what had happened to the one she caught. Did it go for all of them, or just the lesser ones? Domina had to just wait and see now, at least she had given it a push, but what was going to become of all those others she had sensed inside? They were still in there.

As The Green Mist, The Batman, and Captain Marvel-Shazam, begin to inspect this upper area of the prison. Furious sensed another person was below. He could sense her necromantic power. He knew exactly who it was! He had sensed her power before, and the League had information on her from her attempts at trying to take advantage of the Darkseid invasion for her own gains.The person he sensed was Domina! Furious knew this for sure. He wondered why she ventured here..but knowing this opportunist..She would have came here out of curiosity for one thing, or as he was definitely sure of..She came here to see exactly what she could gain. Her whole m.o. was to exploit any circumstance for her own selfish reasons with no regard for principles or for the welfare of others. She craved power and Furious knew this. Sooner or later She and Furious would collide. As The Houngan Aswogwe Supreme of this dimension. It was his job as it was his Grandfather's and his ancestors job before he was even born, to defend against such threats as the corruption of necromancy and other arcane evils. For now he let the thought of her leave his mind, as he had more important threats to face..mainly this being who he knew was the one who escaped his noticed when the Sentinels of magic battled and closed the breech in space two years ago. He knew something escaped through. His instincts told him that but he just wasn't sure. From what happened earlier this day, his assumptions were correct. Whatever it was was here right now and Furious knew it was. Although he could not pinpoint exactly where it was..He knew it was here! He had to stop it at all cost!

Traci Thirteen FuriousStyles Replying telepathically to Traci..Furious kept a straight look on his face and kept his eyes forward as he continued his conversation with The Batman..However psychic communication was easy for those with special talents in the art. He listened to Traci apology and smiled as he telepathically replied "No need for apologies Traci, You came and that's all that matters, and Yes, I sensed it as well. We have faced this energy before. It's Chaos magic. The same energy signature as what we faced more than a year ago. J'onn Jonzz went in there already and I can't even sense his thoughts at all. Whoever is responsible for this and can even block us from sensing one of this planets most powerful telepath's has to be an incredibly power entity. We are going to play this one by the numbers..Batman is going to send in some of his drones as a precaution to see what we are up against. Once we go into that energy effect, I want you to keep up your strongest psychic barriers and protect yourself at all times. Do you understand Traci?" Furious thought of Traci as his younger sister and did not want anything to happen to her. He knew she was always willing to prove herself to the senior members but as far as Furious was concerned, She had more than proved herself time and time again. She was a valuable ally and friend that he did not want to lose Traci's head lifted up and spun around rapidly at the sound of a shriek that echoed along the grounds. It was a brief scream but she noticed it. The sound of birds and crickets chirping outside ceased then, as an eerie stillness settled. Keeping the link open with Furious, 'I don't think, those drones are going to be picking up on anything. Life force wise.. did you hear that? I thought I heard a scream. But it was no ordinary scream.' Reaching into her pouch located along her belt, she removed what looked like a tracking device. Punching a button the device instantly lit up, as she dropped it onto the ground so that Batman could trace her steps if his drones did not find whatever it was he may have been seeking. Chanting in a foreign tongue, she was instantly shielded in an invisible shroud covering over her in an iridescent cover. As she began focusing on a main spell of protective barriers to shield her mind. Reaching into her pocket, she activated another beacon, as she began to approach the building in a different entrance than what Furious, Batman and Captain Marvel were presently taking.  As she walked the very long quiet halls, this is what she saw. Many cell type doors..This area was near the Cerebrotic blot but it had not yet been affected by it. As the process was slowly taking over the area a bit at a time. She could not hear anything, no noise, no sound, nothing. It was as if the sound itself had been swallowed. It was strangely silent...too silent. As she neared the end of the corridor. That's when she heard a very strange clattering sound... a gibberish-like noise..

 "This is breaking news from Galaxy Broadcasting! We have reporters on the scene for a event that is happening live! About two hours ago, We received reports from Belle Reve prison located in the southern part of the state of Louisiana. There was an occurrence of unknown phenomena at the prison. We were told that Gaian Justice League members The Batman, The Green Mist and a few others were sent there to check it out. That was when we were told by local authorities that we had to remain behind a safe zone about 2 miles from the prison complex. That was when our long range cameras caught images of what appeared to be the mystical hero known as The Green Mist acting out and putting some sort of explosive affect on the prison, causing an explosion of mass damage over the area. We have video of The Green Mist, The Batman and other League members fleeing the area. It seemed as if all manner of creatures were pouring out of the prison! That was when a beam of energy shot down from the sky and destroyed the area! Sources say that it was The Gaian Justice League's Watch Tower's Fusion Cannons. Government authorities had us move back further from the area of effect! At this point, the Belle Reve prison has been totally destroyed! We repeat..Belle Reve prison has been totally destroyed!!The loss of life has said to be tremendous! The area is blanketed with radiation and the Government has blamed The Gaian Justice League and The Green Mist for the loss of life. Government Hazmat teams have been sent to the area to determine how this will effect the ecology of the area and many local towns are being evacuated at this time. Officials have said that the Warden and many prison officials lost their lives in this senseless act! What would cause the Gaian Justice League choose to use a weapon that dangerous on a Government sanctioned prison? A weapon we were told was supposed to be decommissioned after a previous incident! Stay tuned to Galaxy Broadcast Stations..We will bring you more information as it is discovered!
