"(Fine by me.") Amar'e stated agreeing. It'd been a long, long time since she last had such a simple fight. No kill shots. That was workable but it didn't mean she wasn't going to hold back. Tamaraneans could take some nasty hits so not like she was worried about breaking him too much.

Watchful eyes observed him carefully as he entered a stance. He seemed very formal unlike herself. Like all fighting styles there were advantages and disadvantages. Although she was not exactly formal she with her experience has learned a variety of styles mashing them all up together to better work for her. It made her unpredictable and in her mind gave her the ability to move in ways that certain forms would never think possible because their stances did not permit such things.

She also knew better then to underestimate an opponent. It was always best to overestimate (but not too much). He was strong. She could feel in and see it by the way he talked and moved. A lot about a fighter could be said about their eyes and it seemed he was not planning on going first. The first move was always the worst. It could be the most important in a match.

Someone was going to have to make it so even though she was not exactly happy with it, her impulsive nature took over figuring "what the hell." Winner couldn't be determined without the match starting. Rushing forward she would go for what would probably be seen as a fairly simple move, a punch to his upper chest, but knowing full well that he was capable of blocking it an dmost likely would, she changed her movement at a last minute notice. Her heel digging into the ground using it to turn her body suddenly slightly to the side in order to bring her knee(which was not the one used for the rotation) digging into his side.

Balza'ran knew that to win a battle, you must know the enemy as well as you know yourself. And due to intense training from the Warlords of Okaara, sparring sessions, and battles on Tamaran, he knew his limits very, very well. His main objective is to learn how Amar'e fights, and adapt his style to counter and ultimately beat her. The moment she moved first, he kept his eyes solely on her and began his analysis of her way of fighting.

Her first move, a simple punch to his chest, could be easily counter. She was right about that. So as he moved to block with his left arm, he realized she wasn't meaning to punch him about half a second after she switched her attack vector and brought her knee up against his side. He didn't have enough information about the way she moved to make a proper analysis about her style of fighting, but he needed to block and counterattack.

He used his other arm and kept it at his side, letting the dense muscle of his right arm take the blow of her knee against it. Digging in with his left foot, he grinned in response to her attack. She was strong despite her looks, which for a peasant, she was beautiful. She was no fragile flower. She was a warrior, and that hit made that clear. This was going to be fun.

But now it was his turn. His right arm pushed aside Amar'es' knee, hopefully forcing her off balance or into a more defensive position. He spun his body once, his little dance meant to hide the fact that his next attacks were going to be so swift, she would be confused on how he could strike so fast. The first strike was a hard strike straight to the stomach with the back of the fist, which was then followed by an open hand slap aimed at the face. The final strike was a kick again to the stomach area.

Once he was done, he shifted stances with a small flourish. His stance was more relaxed this time, his left foot in front, right leg in back, his left hand down low, palm facing down, and his right hand balled into a fist and kept close to him.

Corvo smiled as he watched the fight.
These people were good, better than the people back in Russia even, the girl, while unorthodox, had a flexible style it looked like and male had a powerful looking stance.
With grin Corvo leaped from the edge building, did a few stylish flips, and landed a bit roughly on the hood of a parked car where he dropped onto his bottom and watched the two while cross legged .

As too expected of one of her kind, he could take a blow. Though it was a bit disappointing that all he needed to do was use his arm. The moment she felt him push back against her knee she pulled back as best as she could. Using her foot on teh ground to push giving a slight impulse backwards while maintaining her balance as best as she could. Her eyes glared at him as she kept her hands up guarding herself in a defensive position knowing full well that he was bound to strike. It just did not fathom her he would strike so swiftly right off the bat.

His first blow hit her hard into the gut, however she would stand her ground moving barely an inch. "Tchh..." was the only sound that escaped her lips as her eyes tried keeping up with whatever other movements he had planned. The next was for her head. For this she merely moved her head and neck a bit to the side. Sadly she wasn't quick enough to do a full dodge, a part of his open palm grazing the side of her face.

She didn't mind. Sometimes in order to get in a hit one had to take one. She had pretty much already figured out his speed. Years of fighting experience helped develop such a thing. Not that she could read his movements before they happened. Nah, she had to be a strategist for that. It merely would help her know how fast she needed to react and nothing more. He wasn't the only one that could be fast. Perhaps she was not as fast as him, but only time would tell.

Reacting on her instinct she would finally do something a bit drastic on his last strike. The first two having served as judges to his speed and preparation for a quite daring act. As his leg would come at her, she jumped into the air (above the range of his kick), her body twisting a bit as she placed her hands on his leg using it as a support as she kicked both her legs into his face.

Using the impulse from her kick and a push of her hands she'd push herself away from him, landing a few feet back. As he took up another stance, doing the same herself. "(that all ya got, princess~)" A large smirk covered her face. Taunting him, her more playful side showing through along with some sass.

She can take a punch. He could tell that by the way she stood her ground. His fist hit muscle, muscle that has been trained to take blows like that in her gladiator matches. Tack that on with her natural durability, and he knew she would be a force to be reckoned with. And that prospect make his blood boil. His open hand barely grazed her cheek, which told him another thing: she was fast. Maybe about as fast as he is, or slightly slower. By slightly, he means the difference is so close, it's hard to tell.

But when his foot came in to strike, she dodged by jumping up into the air. Her hands were on his leg, using it as a support and as a counterattack, she shoved both boots into his face. Or would of if he didn't have time to react. He moved his head to the left, so that instead of her feet hitting his gorgeous face, she would hit nothing but air. Still though, the way she pushed off of his leg with her hands gave her enough distance to back off. And they were back to where they started, except the stances have changed.

While they sized each other up mentally, she had the nerve to sass him. What she got in response was a small narrowing of his eyes and a small, curt response, "(Hmph, hardly the case, peasant.)"

Although he didn't know enough of her to truly judge her social class, she looked like a common folk to him. After a few seconds of staring each other down, he decided it was time to jump back into the fray. Swiftly, he closed the gap between them and was back on the attack. The way he moved was almost like a dance as he came in for his first attack, a hard punch straight for the solar plexus. There was a likely chance she would anticipate this direct attack, so he had a counter for her defense. His other arm would came down like a hammer, aiming to either break (in a figurative term) any block she would put up, which was then followed by a knife hand chop aimed straight for the neck.

If any of these blows hit, she would realize he put a lot more force behind them, as if he wasn't planning on holding back. Her taunt was a factor in this sudden change, but ou also have to factor he knows she can take a hit. So why keep the kiddie gloves on?

His reply was like music to her ears in a sense. "(Good to hear. I didn't think that punch was everything you had. Not going easy on me 'cause I'm cute are you~?)" She stated during their moments of sizing each other up. "(And, we're a long way from Tamaran. I couldn't care less about the blood running through your veins.") Oh, look she said more then 5 words. It's a miracle! She has opened up. Her words were true. Blood, status meant nothing on Earth, or in a fight. What mattered was the strength behinds ones fist. If he said more was up to him, if he didn't was fine with her.

He was the one to star the assault this time. There was a different in his moments. More power behind them, but she was not going to let herself take so many hits again. She had a good feel of his speed, all she needed to do was react to each of his own actions. An attack to her solar plexus. Really? something so simple? Maybe he was learning from her first attack? She wouldn't block, she'd dodge by literally dropping down her weight so she was almost kneeling on the ground. Before her knees got to that point, their distance quite close to one another, she'd push off her feet, so that her head would literally ram into his gut. However by doing this, the two other arm motions he'd make would hit her, just not probably in the place or way he wished it. The different in strength from his last attack was obvious.

Thoughts: Alright, she doesn't seem the type to conform to any formal style.

Well she certainly had a lot of sass in her. Though her sass was what was making him look over the fact she was a peasant and begin to take this little fight more seriously. He wasn't going easy on her because she was cute. He wouldn't of changed his methods if she looked like his grandmother. He always sized up his opponent before he commits to a fight, to gauge how seriously he needs to take a fight. If she couldn't take mere love taps as he gave her earlier, he would of used about that much strength for the entire match until she proved otherwise. Which she did earlier when she didn't move an inch. She was a tough brawler, and as she soon proved, she conforms to no style.

With the sound of swishing air around his fists being the sign that his strike has found no purchase on her body, his opponent dropped so she was nearly kneeling. Until she sprang up and towards him, a golden tigress pouncing on her prey, aiming for his stomach. Her unexpected strike was swift and strong, as he dug his feet in so he wouldn't move but an inch. He was certainly right about his foe, she was indeed strong. But she left herself open to his counterattack. His hands finding her shoulders, he soared overhead with an acrobatic flip, landing behind the golden haired beauty with barely a sound. With sure steps and graceful sweeps of his arms, the heel of his palm would strike swiftly for the small of her back, his steps then flowed into his next movement like water flowing down a mountainside. His kick was about mid height, flying into her left side, the force behind the blow was enough to bend steel.

"(I prefer not to waste my time on opponents that do not suit my personal taste. If they cannot stand up to me when I'm not even using my full strength, then why should I be bothered to take them seriously?)"

He answered her taunts with a smirk.

So far the match seemed to be pretty balanced. They were both dodging and taking hits. There was a chance that this could prolong for quite a while if neither of them took it up another level. Perhaps the time of sizing each other up was over. It was clear they could take each other seriously. What wasn't clear, was who would come out as the victor. Amar'e didn't want to lose. In a way her pride was at stake. Losing to another Tamaranean would prove that not much had changed since she left her home planet. However she really was not all too focused on that now. The slightest of thoughts could be enough to distract and bring her defeat.

Just as she had thought, he couldn't have escaped her headbutt. Using her as a support to flip over her did however cause her to stumble forward a bit before she managed to get her footing. Although it was only for a brief second or two it was enough time for Balza'ran to bring him his palms strike into her back. Gritting her teeth together she took the blow without a sound. Amar'e didn't want to take another. Adjusting her body as he "danced" into his next strikes position, she turned her body. It was not a full dodge, she didn't plan on it, but if she took the full blow her own move she was planning could not come into action. The instant she felt his leg against her side her feet dug into the ground to keep from being sent back as her hands grabbed his leg. With a swift movement, if all went well, her arms and hands would move using some of his own momentum to flip his body into the ground. Once that happened Amar'e would quickly raise her right foot into the air to bring her heel straight into his gut as hard as she could (but not enough to kill him of course).

As he expected, she was caught off guard by his flip over her shoulder and she took the strike to the small of her back, but when she turned her body, he was in mid kick, and just as she planned, his leg was caught and with his own momentum being used against him, along with her considerable strength, he was thrown to the ground.

But with reflexes that a cat would be envious of, the agile Tamaranean man landed on both hands, his own immense strength was more than sufficient enough to hold up his weight. When his golden haired opponent's leg came down like a scything blade, Balza'ran used his arms and a short somersault would carry him slightly to the left, dodging her kick by scant inches. A forward flip would follow, his body falling forward on his feet, following the increasing fervor of his momentum by swinging his left leg towards her face.

Back on his feet and back on the attack, Balza'ran followed up his roundhouse kick with another fast kick. Wherever it went, t was aimed for her mid torso. Afterwards, a swift twist of his body would bring his hands towards her face. Two open handed slaps would serve their purpose of forcing her off balance. Then another step would bring his right leg under her left and he merely swept her off her feet. Like a storm cloud is followed by lightning, the sweeping of her leg would be followed by an open palm thrust into her chest.

The ground underneath Amar'e's heel cracked missing her target. He'd been a bit more swift about dodging then she had been expecting. It happened. She wasn't dealing with a weak adversary after all, he was trained, experienced and most importantly skilled. Following his movement after she quickly recollecting herself in to a stance she brought her right forearm in front of her face with the intention of blocking his kick. Her timing was just slightly off, well more like her movement had been delayed just enough for his foot to graze past her forearm colliding with her cheek. Amar'e winced but unlike him she wasn't some pompous princess worried about her pertty little face.

Next thing she knew, he twisted again, his foot getting her torso this time. The pain that followed was worse then the previous attack, not because he was hitting harder but, it seemed that the wounds from the previous day had not fully healed on the inside. She'd already taken a kick or two on her side and this current one just made the lid pop. Amar'e mentally swore to herself. Damn Psion Scientist was right when he warned it might take my body a bit to fully regain its regeneration capacities... It didn't matter. She'd been in worse case scenarios and pulled through, this would be no exception. It only made her even more serious with the match.

Glaring at the hands coming towards her face there was no way he was going to touch her again. Rather then backing off, she took a quick step forward as she raised her hands gripping his wrists a bit before they would reach her face. Pulling down as hard as she could she would bring his upper body bending forward just as her right knee made its way upward. Her strike would hit his torso or above.

She wasn't going to end with just that. Still holding onto his wrists she would spin around bringing him in her movement which would bring him up into a more upright position. Leaping slightly into the air she'd release one of his wrists then the other as she aimed a kick at the end of her spin at his upper torso and neck.

Well this was a predicament, his kicks succeeded in hitting their marks, but his wrists were caught the moment he went in for the slaps to her face. He figured she wouldn't be so easily defeated by slapping her around a few times, so this was not unforseen. She brought his upper body forward and he felt her knee strike his torso hard. He almost lost his breath from that one strike.

She then dragged him with her while she twisted her body. He was back in his upright position, but he wasn't out of the woods yet. Like the tigress she was, she pursued her intended prey, leaping slightly to kick him. Her mistake though was releasing his wrists, and he would make sure she knew this. Her legs almost hit their mark, but his hand would grab her ankle to halt her kick right there. From there, he pulled on her leg, bringing her closer to him. The heel of his free hand went down, aiming to hammer her straight in her chest and with luck, her body would hit the ground hard.

The results, if his counter was successful would crack the pavement beneath the force of his blow.

She should have held on just an extra second or two longer, but she had been fearful she would not have had the room to perform her move. However being gripped and pulled in by her ankle may not be the worst case scenario. Twisting her body as he drew her closer she'd bring her other leg in for a dropkick on his shoulder. The movement was straining on her leg under his grasp but sometimes you just needed to take such a risk. Amar'e could only hope that her dropkick would collide with his shoulder as she had no choice but to take the other half of his attack. She had merely twisted her body to allow the kick, not move away from his strike.

His palm knocked the wind out of her forcing her body towards the ground. If her dropkick did anything to him she would be a bit too dazed to notice it. With a powerful crash she landed into the pavement cracking it beneath her. Pain shot up through her spine and older wounds as she could feel a bit of blood collect at the back of her throat. Even though she was in quite a bit of agony she would roll away from Balza'ran just in case he was goign to go for another strike, slipping back onto her feet although if watched carefully it would be visible the slight difficulty she had in doing so.

So dragging her in towards him was not the best idea, but it got what he wanted done, at the cost of himself getting hit by her dropkick on his shoulder. But even so, she suffered the worst of it, and he could, tell by the way she rolled away and got up, that she wasn't feeling too well. She didn't show it before, but maybe he hit a bit too hard. He was both disappointed and impressed with her so far though. Impressed that she was able to match him without being at full strength, and disappointed that the fight was going to be over because of her not being at full strength.

"(You alright there?)" Balza'ran asked, taking the brief lull in their session to catch his breath. Raising both fists up in front of him, with his left foot out in front, his right leg behind him, he waited for her answer. For a peasant, she was putting up a good fight worthy of a Tamaranean warrior. It made him wonder: if she is able to match him without being at 100% fighting strength, how would she fare if she was? And where did she go that required her to fight the way she is?

It seemed that her laps in retaliating did not bring him to abuse the opening. Amar'e was unsure of what to think about such a thing. Where she'd been in the past, he could have taken out her life if he so wished it. However he didn't even take it up to end the fight once in for all. Instead he "chilled" and even had the nerve to ask her if she was alright. Something inside her head snapped. One of her eyes twitched as she glared at him. "Tsk! I don't need your pity," came a harsh remark. Although this fun was more so just for the heck and fun of it, she could not deny 5 years of handling fights the same way to just slip out of her system so easily. Bringing up her arms in front of her upper body and a leg in front of the other she prepared herself for an attack. She'd been tempted to attack him after he dared to look down on her, however with the stance he was in, she figured he'd easily block and counter.
