How was stating a simple fact that applied to everyone count as being offensive? She closed her book completely and looked Liam directly in the eyes, slight confusion on her face. "How was it offensive when it applies to everyone? Each person has germs and swapping them with anyone is bad. I wasn't pointing to you in particular," she replied simply. Then she started reading her novel again, following the other two into their classroom.
Everything went quiet when they entered. Or, rather, when Aria and Liam entered; both were well known, though for different things. Soon whispers started to circulate through out the class, likely rumors about the two or insults directed at the pres. She took a seat behind Aria and waited for the class to commence. That's when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She didn't even look up, ignoring the person. That's when she heard a "Hey," in a whisper that went along with her being pushed at the shoulder. Flipping the page she was on, she continued reading steadily as she asked, "Yes?"
When she didn't get an answer she reluctantly looked in the direction of said person. She had to hold back a snarl as she looked into the eyes of Logan. He leaned against his desk casually, a look of mild curiosity on his features. "Has the demon pres really found love with the pretty boy?" Beka went back to reading.

Sera swung from a tree and landed in front of a big group of students. "Oh! Sera! Are you in this class too?" one of the new kids asked. A few kids snickered and others kept silent. Sera just smiled, "Yes, in fact, I teach it!" she said. The look on the students face was very amusing, but before she could say something, Sera took out her whistle and blew it loudly, "Time for laps! Three around the field." she explained. She watched as the students began running and smiled as she placed her hands on her hips. This was her idea of a warm up. She spotted Maria sitting down and waved, smiling brightly, "MARIAAA~!" she yelled loudly. She ran toward her and sat down beside her, "Whats up?" she asked. She didn't have to be at the field since everyone was just doing laps for now.

 ❝ ☂ You don't choose your family. ☼ ❞ ●●● ☆═━┈ Maria continued to sit quietly, her eyes closed, trying to clear her mind. Hoping the gloom and doom of the gray clouds would disappear. Sensing someone's presence getting close and she opened her eyes to see Sera running towards her."Hello Sera." Maria smiled, but something about it seemed off. Her smile was known to be infectious, it was difficult for anyone to be unhappy when Maria was always smiling and happy. But Maria no longer had a glow or even the sparkle in her eyes."Ah, I just thought I should continue monitoring the classes. You're class seems to be doing well."Maria said, then looked out to the field to see some of the students already out of breath after just one lap. emotion_sweatdrop Then she remembered her conversations with Gen. "Sera do you find me meddling? I'd like to return favor, not to just help the school, but you all.I'd like to think of you all, as family...But now that I think of it, that might be rude of me, to say such a thing..." Maria looked down at her lap and a frown had formed on her face.She feared that if she tried to help, she would only be troublesome. Ejir'a Gailenorth History? Exciting? Impossible. "I've come so very far and brought mischief all the way." There was a flash of maroon and midnight blue smoke outside the classroom door. The familiar face of the history teacher poked around the door and she muttered a quiet curse. Disappearing behind the doorframe again, she engaged into hushed conversation with the being that made the blue smoke. Eventually, she looked back to the class. "I need someone's help. It appears our guest of the day has been Vox-Shot. Preferably a volunteer of the stronger sort. Master Iilliun is not in the best condition to do as I do." She attempted to drag her friend through the narrow door, a loud growl pierced the air and she gently lower him. From their seats, the students would have seen the bloodied head and shoulders of the eldest Nightling, Sire Iilliun. It appeared as if blue ink had been smeared over him, but it was in fact, his blood. "While I fix this most unfortunate of circumstances, he'll tell you of Ragnarok." The Nightling on the floor simply groaned and gave E'jira a bothered look. " 'jira....Do...I....re....really?" he managed with heaved breathes. She nodded, a look of 'Your Fault.' on her face. "Since he's so enthusiastic about it, could I get two instead of one?" {{OOC: Profile already sent in and accepted, she just hasn't posted it yet.}}

Sera smiled as Maria commented on her class, "Yup!" she said happily. Her expression changed as she listened to Maria, her smile turning into a frown as she hugged her knees to her chest, "You know Maria, I used to be a huge troublemaker, the king of kid who picked fights and came home a few days later with scratches and bruises, I never really had much of a childhood." she said, looking up at the clouds, "But in Highschool, my brother got into a accident and things changed. My parents stopped fighting, I stopped fighting, everything seemed like a new beginning, but I still never got to make up for all the years I lost. Then I got my Teaching degree and came to this school. I met you, Gen and a bunch of other students and teachers and I felt like I was in a new family, that this was my real new beginning." she said, her frown changing back to a smile, "So, I don't think you're meddlesome, th ns to you I have a new family. So, thanks!" she said brightly before noticing they were done laps. She jumped up on her feet and smiled, "Gotta run. Seeya later!" she greeted before running back to the field and meeting her students.

Liam WhiteLiam stared at Aria with a look that one could mistake as pitying. Instead, he looked at her with something close to admiration. It took some serious self control to avoid unleashing her rumored wrath on the gossipers and Liam liked that. Or maybe she was just used to it. Anyways, he also had some questions he wanted to ask her. For example, why did she become the Student Council President? If she had just remained uninvolved and unknown, she wouldn't be as attention-attracting as she was now, avoiding the whole problem with the rumors. She could've just been that girl in the back that no one knew about, but no. She took on the challenging job of Student Council Prez. It is a most definitely noble thing to do and everyone that doesn't acknowledge that will now be labeled as an idiot in my eyes from this day onward. Liam thought, sniffing.
"That's not exactly true." Liam said, arranging his books somewhat neatly on his desk. "Sure I may be popular and amazingly handsome, but it doesn't mean that I don't notice things...." Liam was not an observant person and never will be. That last two sentences he had spoken were complete lies on his behalf. [OOC:]

Aria continued to think, not noticing the look he gave her. She sighed, her eyes glues onto the clock. She wasn't sure why the teacher was late, but her eyes shifted back outside the window. The rumors changed from her being a monster to her forcing Liam to sit next to her. They talked about how she was desperate and abused her powers. A small spark of anger flashed through her eyes, but she kept her temper down. She could feel her power trying to escape from her and she stood, a bit pale. She didn't look at Liam, "I don't like people who lie" she said, as she grabbed her bag. She left a note on the table stating she was leaving to go to the nurses office and once she strolled out the door she started to run. She turned another corner and climbed up the stairs, shutting the rooftop door behind her. She was panting, her eyes shut. She wrapped her arms around her chest and squatted down, shaking. She took deep breaths and tired to control her power before it blew out of control. She stayed like this for a while, and sighed a bit embarrassed that she left like that after scolding two other students about attending class.

Liam WhiteLiam placed his mechanical pencil on the right side of his desk, making sure that it was perfectly parallel to the desk. He was an organized kind of person, but not so organized that he could be categorized as OCD. He kept things neat, but sometimes left things out of place.
Sneezing, Liam noticed the classroom was a bit too cold...but then again, all rooms were cold to him. He tightened the scarf around his neck and arranged it to cover exactly half his face. He did try to block out the rumors going on around him, but he also couldn't help but listen. They were terrible, but none of them talked badly about him, only Aria. He guessed it was a plus to being popular.
Liam saw Aria stand from her seat, the color of her face a bit whiter than usual. Before he could ask her what was wrong, she spoke without looking at him. "I don't like people who lie." Liam sighed and looked at her. He had been partially joking about that. "I see you have seen through my....." his voice trailed off as Aria left the classroom. "...lies." Had he done something?
The moment Aria left the classroom, half a dozen girls jumped out of their seat and rushed over to Liam, buzzing with questions. He ignored them all. He felt as if he should run after the Student Council President in worry that he had been the reason she left. Suddenly, a random thought popped into his head. "That girl goes lecturing on about how important attending class is and then walks out herself!" he said aloud, silencing his fangirls around him. "Liam, did you say something?" one of them said, practically breathing on his face. "No." Liam replied curtly, getting up from his seat and gathering his books. He left the classroom to return to the unused stairwell, making sure he had no fangirl followers. The boy hoisted himself up onto the ledge, going back to his class-skipping routine. He hadn't even stayed in class long enough for the teacher to arrive before leaving again. Despicable. [OOC:]

Aria continued to stay still, shaking more. Her eyes were a bright blue and a blue flame flickered brighter. Her eyes widened and she concentrated some more. After another ten minutes the flame dwindled and she got control of herself. She felt embarrassed and angry at herself considering she had lost control. She was upset and a tear rolled down her cheek. It was rare to see any emotions come from her, but she cried like this often when she was alone. She touched her cheeks softly and quickly wiped her tear away. She sighed and stood, waiting for the shaking to stop. Her skin was still pale and she as shaken up, but class was over and she had Student Council work. She slowly walked back, her eyes hold sadness in them. It was them she walked past Liam and was surprised to see him there. She was speechless, how could she possible speak to him now after everything she said. Her eyes darted away from him and she walked faster as she passed him. She turned the corner and jogged farther away from his general direction. She slipped into the Student Council room and shut the door. She then walked over to her desk and stared at the paperwork. She had a headache and she really just wanted to apologize for leaving class, however, she wasn't going to do that. She sat down and started her work, hoping no one would bother her.

Liam WhiteLiam had leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes. He had been sitting like that for half-an-hour now and still couldn't get to sleep. There was too many thoughts occupying his mind, and he didn't like that. As you might guess, they were about Aria. They weren't lovey-dovey thoughts, at least not in Liam's point of view. He had imagined himself in her shoes and did his best to forget about his widely-admired, gorgeous self. Of course he couldn't say that he understood Aria's dilemma, but he had a good idea of what she probably was feeling.
He opened his eyes hearing someone make their way up the stairwell. Seeing Aria, he froze. He didn't move; he didn't breathe. The Student Council President was paler than usual and her eyes showed telltale signs that she had been crying. What happened? There was a moment of absolute silence before the girl quickened her pace and sped away. That's when Liam found the will to move and hopped off of his perch on the window ledge. "Aria!" he called, jogging after her. Liam was unfortunate to have weak health. He wasn't the least bit athletic and he especially did not excel in running. The boy was out of breath and had almost reached the point of wheezing (which would most definitely not be very attractive) once he arrived at the door to the Student Council room. Once he had regained his composure and energy, he straightened up and knocked on the door. "Aria?" he called, destroying the Student Council President's hope that no one would bother her. [OOC:]

Aria continued to do do her paperwork, trying to relax the best she could. It was then there was a knocking on the door and she heard her name. She cringed as she realized who was the source of the voice. She tried to compose herself and she took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, but i'm busy at the moment" she said, her eyes wandering over to the door. She hoped he didn't realize that the door was open and walk on in. She didn't want anyone to see her like this, not in her weakened state. Especially pretty boy Liam. She didn't want anyone's pity and she didn't wan anyone to see her. She couldn't control her powers and she was still a bit unstable. Is he upset her she could release her power onto him and that scared her. She wouldn't have it, "Come back tomorrow" she said, trying not to have her voice crack. She was so pathetic, was she really this weak? She mentally hit herself and her eyes moved towards the floor, sighing.

Liam WhiteLiam frowned at the door in front of him. "I'm sorry, but I'm busy at the moment. Come back tomorrow." is what Aria had said. Liam was getting annoyed. He couldn't just leave her like that. Every once in a while, a person wants to be alone and needs space from other people, but Liam didn't really care. Much to the Student Council President's dismay, he did notice that the door was open but just happen to be hesitant to go in. He knew it was ungentlemanly and rather dangerous to barge in on a girl, especially an upset demon girl, but pushed open the door anyways. He stopped in the doorway, not wanting to come any closer in case she were to get mad at him. "Aria." he repeated gently, taking only taking a step closer to close the door behind him. The girl looked as if she had been doing some paperwork, but was now looking towards the floor. "I most certainly will not come back tomorrow, so look at me." he said, pulling up a chair and sitting down. He had run out of pity for the girl and just wanted to talk. "Now can you tell me what's wrong?" [OOC:]

Aria continued to look at the floor and heard the door creak open. She tried not to jump with surprised and she knew he found out the door was open. She sighed as he called her name softly and sat down in a chair, "Look at me" he said. She wondered if he was trying to pity her, and her lifeless eyes slowly moved over to his eyes. "Now can you tell me what's wrong?" he asked her. She raised an eye brow at him, hoping he wouldn't figure out her problem "There is nothing wrong, I just had a headache so I left class... I apologize if that caused any worry I will not miss class again" she reassured him. She stood and placed her paperwork to the side, her eyes moving over towards the window. It looked like it was going to rain, "classes should be ending now... i'm sure your fangirls have left so there's no need to continued being here with me... I have done my part to make sure you've had a peaceful day" she said, her eyes moving back over towards the floor. She then walked back and on her chair, her blue eyes brighter than usual. She was trying very hard not to burn the desk in front of her. She wanted him to leave so he didn't see what she truly was, a real monster.

Liam WhiteLiam stared at the girl in front of him, his eyes narrowed with obvious disbelief at her words. "Just a headache?" he inquired, leaning back in his seat. He was liking the chair he was sitting in. It had wheels on the bottom (so he was given mobility), had a small desk attached to the side, and was satisfyingly cushioned. "These chairs are absolutely wonderful." he said, temporarily getting off topic. "You should organize a fundraiser so we can get enough money to install these in all of the classrooms. I could help you."
"I know the girls have left and I thank you for my peaceful day." he commented. Liam had his head tilted back so he was staring at the ceiling while he spun around in his chair. "It's all so dizzying." he said. "And I'm talking about the spinning as well as the enigmatic puzzle that you are." Liam stopped the turning of the chair by planting his feet on the ground. He faced Aria, his expression indifferent. "I'm here because I've taken an interest in you." he declared, putting his right elbow on the desk and propping his head up with his hand. He yawned. "Starting today, I will be your friend whether you like it or not. And also, starting today, you..." He pointed at Aria. "....have become my obsession." [OOC:]

Aria nodded, "yup" she said. She listened to him and tilted her head, "That's a good idea, but I don't know how you could help... besides you're not in the student council so you don't need to help" she said, her eyes looking back over to the window. She smiled ever so slightly, at least he thanked her for that. She heard the spinning of a chair and her eyes moved back over to him, "you'll break the chair if you keep spinning like that" she said, sighing. She tilted her head, what did he mean by dazzling? When he clarified what he was talking about she was a bit surprised. She was a puzzle? He suddenly stopped spinning and face her, his expression different from before. She stared at him, a little annoyed "what? you're interested in me?" she asked, her eyebrows raised. Was that even possible? He then leaned forward and told her he was her friend and she just laughed, "my friend? what kind of joke is that?" she asked, her eyes a little cold. It was then he started to point to her, "you... have become my obsession" he said. She just looked at him, wide eyes. What the hell? She got up and pointed at the door "get out" she said, her eyes not asking but commanding. She tried to hide the small amount of blush she had on her cheeks. What the hell was wrong with this boy?
