Rowan followed Frederick inside the Tavern. The tavern was dim, only half full. She took a seat across from him. Rowan was about to speak, when a pretty waitress in a long blue dress walked over to their table. She greeted them with a smile and a clipboard as she asked for their orders.

Frederick took his helmet off. His brown hair buffing out as his blue eyes glimmered in even the faint torch light. "Yes I would like some pork and eggs." He would smile to the waitress. "You want anything Rowan?"

Rowan shook her head. "I'm alright for now." she said. The waitress smiled back at him, writing down his order. "We'll have it out for ya in ten minutes." she said. The waitress winked at him and Went over to the counter to give the order to the cook. Rowan waited for her to leave before speaking. "They're bringing pladins to find the culprit." she whispered. "They even made fliers, they're putting 1,000 gold on your head. If I were you I'd hide that helmet, and find a different disguise. They're calling you the horned devil, I'm sure you've seen the posters?" she asked. "They're doubling the guards, they're already suspecting it's a foreigner. So they're setting electric traps around the city to stun or shock you. The traps can be simply avoided by magic detection, which is how they'll single you out...do you know magic?"

Frederick shook his head. "Of course not. I did tell you I have practically no education right?" He said as he looked at her curiously. "Though you didn't think I would notice wards and runes on the walls?"

"Oh... I just wanted to warn you for what's coming." she said, looking down. The waitress exit the kitchen, ballancing Frederick's plate on her hand and a goblet with sparkling cider in the other. She placed them on the table infront of him. "The drink is on the house. Enjoy." she said. The waitress turned to leave and attend other customers. Rowan took a quick look around, seeing if anyone was looking. She reached into her bag and pulled out another smaller bag. She handed it to Frederick. "Here, take this. It'll help you detect the traps." she said. The bag contained her Ringmaster headdress. She didn't have much of a choice, and magic wasn't something easily taught.

"I can't wear that you silly girl." He said as he shoved it back towards her. He looked around to see if anyone noticed. Then looking back to her as he picked up a fork. "I'm not buying that sort of thing from you. That's absurd. Someone might think I am actually one of you! No one would want that." He joked as he started cutting his pork up into smaller pieces.

Rowan shoved it back towards him. "I'm not expecting you to wear it, geeze, it'd look horrible on you for one. Not your color at all. It has the same effect if you simply carry it around with you." she said. She sighed. "That's all I have to help you with the traps. Besides that there's not much I can do."

"What do you mean not much you can do?" He said as he would take the headdress and put it in his back pack. "You still have to push on your side as well. As well as I wouldn't have actually known anything about the traps if you hadn't said anything." He said as he took a pieces of bite sized pork and eating them one by one. "Then again. I don't think your really comfortable with what we did last night."

"What do you mean? I can handle sneaking around." she said, a bit stubbornly. She sighed. "I've seen my fair share of blood on my travels, but it's nonetheless revolting each time. I just have a weak stomach, you can say." she said. "Speaking of which, how did you manage to free them? I read that in the papers, it was you right? Did you learn anything new?"

"I'm not an expert in magic... so if they had any magic their I wouldn't know. Though the place wasn't protect as I ended up just breaking into the place with my weapons." He said as he would pick up his fork again. "I just got them the hell out of that place before they died. I know that doesn't leave us any opportunities... but now I have the attention of a second authority figure. The Captain himself... I gave him a few hints and he seems to be taking them seriously."

Rowan listened and nodded. "That's good. That's what I heard in the notices, they're suspecting an inside job." she said. Though something was bothering her. "Do you find it careless that they'd leave that place unguarded? If wizards were on their side, I'd expect a few enchantments at least, especially since they clearly saw you fighting with swords, not magic..."she said.

He would nod. "If they did leave any more guards and have any magic there. They would have alerted the guards tasked to guarding the property."

"Well that's true." she said. The waitress returned to Their table, giving him the tab.

He would give her a gold coin. "Keep the change mame." he said as he would eat the remainder of his eggs. Pushing the plate ahead.

The waitress was surprised at the generous tip, but gladly took it. She smiled slightly and took the plates to take them back to the kitchen...
Rowan waited for the waitress to leave. "Say, where is your camp?" she asked him. "I can't keep running all over Arun to find you, my luck is bound to run out eventually." she said. Which was true, their last three encounters themselves were miracles.
