He wasn't going to cry about it hurting his feelings or anything, but like anybody, he was not fond of being cursed at. He slid out of bed--this time carefully--and cautiously peeked outside the door to his bedroom. He was especially frightened of Achan now, even more so than before. He didn't want to so much as cross paths with that guy. Upon entering the room he referred to as the 'room with the d-mn TV', he stared at the television, hypnotized by the program that was currently playing. In fact, it took him several moments to even realize Charlotte was sitting there, and instead of taking a spot next to her on he couch, he simply plopped down on the floor, studying her curiously. He resembled a child; his wide, dark eyes did not stray from the girl unfortunate enough to be in his presence. He pulled his knees to his chest and toyed with the decorative buckles on his pants, these shiny things enough to distract him from both the television and Charlotte. "What is this persona you're putting up?" he asked suddenly, insensitively, without thinking of how this question might sound. He meant to harm by it, and he wasn't even sure that this wasn't exactly who Charlotte was, inside and out. He just wanted to know what she'd say.

Charlotte Clain "If indeed it is not awful, then it is quite."
Charlotte was so fascinated by the star exploding on screen that she didn't even notice that Sunday had joined her until he spoke. Nearly jumping out of her skin, she sucked in a sharp breath of surprise. She slammed the pillow down next to her and uncrossed her legs as if she could undone what he had seen by erasing all of the evidence. Straightening her blazer, Lottie cleared her throat and said in a voice of crystal, "I don't know what you mean." After smoothing a few imaginary strands of hair back in place, she examined the boy on the floor. He seemed so innocent, sitting the way he was. She wasn't stupid though, and she knew what he meant. Honestly there were so many answers to the question that she didn't know where to begin. Yes, she was this way because of her upbringing. Yes, she was not, in fact, a heartless rich girl. But it was rude to be sloppy! Half of her was in an uproar. The other, content with the knowledge that it was bound to happen sooner or later and at least it was one person. Ooc:

Though he couldn't read her mind or anything convenient like that, he knew very well that such a comment must have offended her in some way. Right? That's human nature, isn't it? Then again, he doubted she was even human. That didn't shift his suspicions, however. Biting his lip, he considered holding his tongue. Bothering another roommate to hate him didn't seem like a great idea. "Don't speak so politely to someone when they're rude to you. That stupid propriety is so... cold," he blurted anyway. "And you know very well what I mean." Fidgeting a bit, he placed his chin to rest on his knees with a sigh. It wasn't as if he had the room to accuse someone else of covering up with a fake persona. He was more of a bratty, spoiled child rather than the rebel he claimed to be. Glancing at Achan's locked door, he went back to biting his lip as he thought. He hadn't expected he outburst from him and wished he'd come out for another standoff--not that Sunday needed to bother anyone any further.

Charlotte Clain "If indeed it is not awful, then it is quite."
Charlotte blinked. "I am polite because it is how I was taught to be." From the moment she was taken in by the Clain's she had been swept, dusted and groomed to be the epitome of ladylike. Her thoughts may not fit sometimes but her thoughts were her own. She hardly remembered the way she was before, so in reality polite was all she knew. "Apologies for my earlier lie, I was caught off guard." She examined Sunday. He was trying to get a rise out of her, was he? It would seem so by the way he peeked at Achan's door as if begging him to come along and start another power play. They were like dogs, really, trying to establish a hierarchy in which they were on the top. "Would you like to change the channel?" She asked absentmindedly. Charlotte was hardly able to concentrate on the screen anymore now that someone else was here. Ooc:

She was simply too well raised to react how he was pushing her to, to his dismay. After a few moments, he acknowledged her offer. "Well, if you insist," Sunday agreed, taking the remote. He stared at her for a moment before he changed the channel in case she changed her mind, as his friends often did at home, and then proceeded to change it to a channel in which a live concert was being broadcasted. An avid music fan, he got even more absorbed into this program than the one Charlotte had been watching, biting down quite hard on his bottom lip. His eyes grew even wider than they already were and he crawled a few inches closer to the screen. It was as if his mind was at home while his body was there, as he acted just as he would in his house around friends, growing visibly excited. "I didn't know they were playing today... this is my favorite band in the entire f---ing world, you hear?" he exclaimed rather loudly, glancing back at Charlotte so cheerfully it was almost safe to assume the most incredible thing was on television. "If only they had a concert nearby..."

Charlotte Clain "If indeed it is not awful, then it is quite."
Charlotte crossed her legs at the ankles and shrugged off her blazer before folding it neatly in her lap. She started smoothing down the crisp white blouse underneath, her eyes widening momentarily from the jumble of notes coming from the television. After that she didn't pay it much attention, it wasn't as if she knew the song anyway. Groomed to her standards, Lottie raised her head to see Sunday plastered to the screen. As his excited rush of words zoomed by her, she sighed, her brows slumping in annoyance. ."Yes, I hear you" She replied placing her delicate chin in her palms. "Perhaps if you would care to click the info button you could see where it is they are." Ooc: I did not mean to take this long to reply /. Apologies!
