*Hm. Have you practiced much with that?* she asked Nika, slight worry in her voice. She was not sure where the sudden concern came from, except the urge to suddenly throw herself out in front of whatever could be threatening him. Shaking her head slightly, she frowned. Not that anyone could see it, of course.
Chae hefted her own pack, letting the others lead the way. She had not been out as far as the Rade controlled areas, nor was she looking forward to it. Regardless, Ice seemed to think that this was neccessary.
That did not mean SHE had to like it.
Patting her child gently on the head, she watched the girls bright gaze smile at her.

Nika smiled warmly at Shiva, 'A bit... Gee's been giving me lessons. I can't say that means a lot. She's not as good with a blade like this,' he touched the handle of the knife, 'as she is with her daggers.'
He followed behind Kata and Zahar and grabbed Gee's hand, pulling her along. This was exciting. He had a strange feeling that he'd never been allowed to go on dangerous adventures like this... and when he had he'd never seen much action. He was always pushed to the side, out of harms way. This was going to different.
G_E let Nika pull her forward and shrugged at Kata.
"Nika reminded me... I would have left with only my daggers and the clothes on my back if he hadn't said anything.

*A bit?* she echoed, worridly, and pulled gently on Chae's hand as well, urging her forward. Following a few steps behind, she clenched her left hand nervously, holding the blade and then letting it go.
"Well, hopefully we won't be gone long enough to need many supplies...right?" Chae asked hopefully. "I mean...is it far?"

G_E headed into the forest she glanced back at Chae, "Not very, it only tooks us an hour or so to get to the ruins last time."
Nika lifted an eyebrow at Shiva and squeazed her hand, 'You shouldn't worry so much... I can handle it.'
He wasn't sure where the confidence he had came from, but he had it and that's all that mattered. The blade wasn't heavy. How hard could it be to use it?

Staring at her hand. The one with the extra finger, she frowned as he squeezed it. She was embarrassed by that hand, and had preferred if he had not taken it. But then...she shouldn't have left that one free.
Squeezing it back she said *I always worry.*
Which was true enough.

Zahar looked about the group letting Kata take the lead since she had not gone to the ruins since they were not ruined. Zahar held her back close to her for comfort. She still wasn't quite comfortable around the other masks yet.
Kataio looks at the others and says quietly incase. "Do we set up a camp or just spy and head back?" She wanted to make sure she had the plan right. "I don't want to end up saying or doing something stupid again. Oh and could you to look out for snakes?"

G_E nodded and smiled at Kata walking along, "Snakes are my specailty... one of my favoritte animals. That is only if they don't have long, pointy fangs... I say we set up camp. What do you think Chae?"
Nika grinned at Shiva and forgot to let her hand go. He followed behind Gee and gently pulled Shiva along behind him.

Chae fidgited slightly, and then released Shiva's hand, letting her own drop to her weapon. "I'd like to get in and out as soon as possible." she said. "If we stop to set up camp, we may have to leave it all behind if we're chased out. So either we rest up first, and then re-pack, or risk that loss.

"Chea brings up a good point. I wouldn't want us to lose any supplies." Kata smiled. "That and Zahar and I didn't bring much, did we littlin'?" Kataio patted Zahars shoulder.
'We have tea and some cookies I brought along.' Zahar pulled one out as if to make a point then placed it back in her outter pouch of her weapon bag.

"That is a good point," she smiled at the others, "What do you say we figure it out later? I mean.... we might be chased out of their territory before we get anywhere near the ruins."
She walked faster, excited about getting to go to the ruins again. They hadn't had much of a chance to look around last time...

"Almost there." Kataio pointed down to the path they were on. "It's more worn down and," Kata smile at Zahar, "the tracks are fresher. We should probably talk less now." Kataio looked at the other two as she followed Gee who passed her.

G_E nodded and pressed a finger to her lips to show that she would be quieter. She whispered, "I'd like to go on... but It doesn't matter. The little ones might be tired after all."
'I'm not that tired... but I could use a drink or something.' Nika smiled.
G_E sat cross-legged and searched for something in her bag. Once she'd found what she was looking for she tossed it to Nika and glanced at the others, holding out water bottles.
"Drink? Anyone?"

Shiva also sat down, eyes smiling as she took the bottle for Chae. *Thank you.*
Chae smiled "She says thank you"
Leaning forward she said "So we need to know what we're going to do now. What talents we have working for us, and what to expect from the Rade."
