Telia giggled with excitement and her stomach fluttered. She grinned up at Professor Papers and nodded emphatically. "Yes sir! Feel it, got it! Am I going to get to morph today? Like during this lesson?" The idea of finally morphing was making it hard for Telia to focus on anything else.

Telia nodded determinedly. "Let's do it Professor!" Without another thought except focused thought on her centre, feeling it like Professor Papers had told her to do, she held up her wand and said, "Homoinalias." She felt her strength sapping away with the strength of the spell and heard a loud wind rushing through her ears. The her vision blurred before brightening, more clear than her human sight. She blinked a few times to make sure that she hwasn't imagining, but sure enough, her vision was clear, she was closer to the ground and she had a tail! So excited with what had happened, Telia chased her tail around a few times before she got distracted with the smells and sounds in the room. She could hear everything, including faint cheering at the Tournament. She could smell ink, parchment, traces of bird that got her blood racing. Then she saw Professor Papers. She shook herself out and trotted over to plop down on her haunches next to him. She scratched at an itch behind her upright ear then looked up at the Professor with a goofy looking grin on her face. She barked loudly in triumph.

Telia gasped when she felt her tail and fur receding and her paws morphing back to hands and feet. She looked down and gasped when her clothes were gone. She quickly summoned a pair of sweatpants and a shirt and pulled them on. When she was presentable, she called out, "You can look now Professor." She walked over to sit next to him, her eyes misted over. "That was incredible! There were so many smells and my vision was so much clearer! Is that how it feels ever time you morph sir?"

Telia giggled, tickled to know that she could do something better than Professor Papers. "So sir, now that we know I can do it, what's next? An excursion? A quest?" In her excitement, Telia began to spin in a slow circle, her mind traveling hundreds of miles an hour. "Or maybe you'll have me go find something and bring it back. Or have to stay in my Animagus for a certain amount of time..." She tapered off an spun quickly to face Professor Papers. "Well sir? What should we do now?"

Telia took a moment to assess herself before nodding. She could still feel the adrenaline pumping trough her and she wanted to take advantage of that before it wore off and let her exhausted. Thinking hard about her centre, she raised her wand and said firmly but excitedly, "Homoinalias!" The wind rushed through her ears again and her vision blurred before clearing and brightening. Her fur grew rapidly to cover her body and her tail popped out and started to wag. The transformation complete, Telia shook out her fur before she raced around the room, amazed at the speed she was going. Before long, she plopped down next to Professor Papers and panted, partly from the excitement of being a dog and partly from slight exhaustion that began to leak through the adrenaline.

When Professor Papers shifted into his Animagus, Telia's ears shot up and she sunk down to the floor, head on paws. She whimpered, "Professor? You smell really good...why do I get the sudden urge to chase you around?" Her nose worked furiously, trying to figure out the bird in front of her. The bird smell of ink and parchment, which made her nose twitch, but she also smelled an irresistible odor on the bird that was slightly familiar. After a minute of careful thought and concentration, Telia's head shot up and she yelped, "You smell like the woods!"

Telia whined and tried to sink lower to the ground, trembling as she was torn between her dog instincts telling her to chase the bird and her human feelings reminding her who he was. One minute passed and the whining grew more intense and the trembling more pronounced. She suddenly let out a howl of misery and took off toward the door. Stopping when she was in the hallway a short distance away, she prances back and forth trying to control her urge to get the bird that was so close.
