She took his first his kick in the side, and felt a rib snap, but she flipped backwards to avoid the next one, the brought her knee up high to block the third. She brings her sheath up to block his swipe and steps backwards, panting a little and pale-faced.

Kizoku held off on his next attack and took up a strange stance, facing his left side to Kikyo, his legs spread and knees bent, left foot pointed sideways toward his opponent, right foot pointing forward. Holding his sword above his head with his right hand, blade facing his opponent with the tip pointing down creating a form of arch, his left arm in a defensive position held out across his torso. Kizoku observed Kikyo's panting and her pale face, "Are you alright Captain?"

"Oh yes, I am quite alright. You use your feet alot, that is an unusual way of fighting." She has her blade resting point-down on the ground and waits for his next attack. "Come on, Vice, im getting old here!"

"As is the way of my... Well, was the way of my clan. Kizoku loosened his stance preparing to attack again, "But enough about me. You look rather pleasant for getting old Captain." a slight grin crossed his face, was he flirting with his Captain? Kizoku then charged Kikyo again, attacking with a diagonal slash from his sword followed by an axe kick.

Kikyo blushed a bit and sidestepped his slash. and then siezed Kizoku's flying foot with her tails, and threw him bodily over her head. She was kinda distracted, and was thinking about his words, acting only upon instinct. She thinks to herself, "Is he...flirting with me...?"

Kizoku flipped in the air a couple of times when Kikyo through him over her head then landed on his feet a short distance behind her. He decided to make his next move while Kikyo seemed to be distracted. Kizoku charged her again and took a swing at her, followed by a hurricane kick then another sword slash.

She dodged his first slash, and his kick, but his foot caught fer hairclip and pulled it off, unfurling her hair. She was forced to catch his blade between her palms. "Gee, its almost like your actually trying to kill me..." She winces and her arms give out for a split second, before she locks them agai and keeps a firm hold on his blade. Her elbows had given out from the pain of her broken rib, so she is pale and sweating a little.

Kizoku chuckled, "You did want a good spar Captain. I wouldn't dream of it though, look again." He's referring to his blade, the dull edge is facing her and the sharp edge is toward him. Kizoku looks at her with a hint of worry in his eyes, Are you okay Captain? You're not looking so well.

She had an advantage over kizoku though..a prehensile tail X3. She tapped a kunai against the back of his neck with her tail. "Don't worry about me, Vice. You ought to pay more attention to your surroundings though."

Kizoku looked at her tail holding the kunai from the corners of his eyes, he turned his gaze back to Kikyo, "Hmm... You're good captain. I'll be sure to do that." With a sudden quick movement he ducks away from the kunai and swings at her legs as a distraction then dives and rolls out of the way to avoid any of her other attacks.
