Aki arrived after Adam had and the Arrancar seemed to be having some kind of conversation with his sister. That wasn't good. Why was his sister even talking to the man in the first place? Arriving in time to hear the shinigami talking, Aki rolled his eyes at him. Feeling the power of the Arrancar this close, Aki reached behind him placing a finger in the hole at the bottom of his seele schneider he pulled it out. Spinning it right side up and gripping it firmly it remained unactivated. "Akeno, keep away from that man. It would be best if you left this place for now." Turning to Adam, Aki watched him for a moment before speaking to him in a quiet and hushed voice. "We need to work together shinigami if we are to stand a chance." Alone they stood less than half a chance, together they had a chance of defeating him or at least wounding him enough to leave.

Akeno Yoshida Akeno's eyes widened as her brother said that he wanted to team up with the reaper and take down this man. She didn't understand, he had been so nice to her. She was having a nice conversation with him before they even got there. Akeno ran out in front of the Arrancar and held her hands out like she was protecting some endangered tree. "No!!! Leave him alone!! He didn't do anything to you! Hes so nice!! He was having a nice conversation with me!"Akeno cried out in protest, she didn't want the arrancar to get hurt.
Akeno looked over at the Arrancar. "Don't be cruel Oniisan!!" Akeno flew up and flew backwards and closer to the arrancar. She didn't believe he was going to hurt her. She trusted this guy, she didn't think he was evil. He wasn't like other boogiemen. He was nice!

Matrero sighed as the Quincy arrived but the young girls actions took him by surprise to say the least, she was defending him, 'Oh this I can use.' he thought as he slowly drew his blade and forced its tip into the roof in front of him letting go of it, "There, no speed drawing from burying it that deep, now hear me out Reaper and Quincy." he said in a clam tone as he reached into his coat and pulled out a bottle of alcohol, "I am not here to fight, if I were I would have leveled you to nothing before you even spoke, the power of a former Vasto Lorde is not something your kind can trifle with, especially not in the human world, I am merely here out of boredom, I wish to take a scenic walk outside the dreary confines of my home world." he spoke with a thick Spanish accent now, one he had not been using before, "My words in Latin were for you because Latin is the language of reason, if you will not reason then all you will get from me are those words that you do not understand, if you will reason I will speak to you as an equal. So tell me Reaper, Quincy, can we reason?" he asked as he took a swig from the bottle he held, the label was long faded but it looked like tequila.
"Now this young lady has been very kind to me." he said as he took a step forward and put a hand on Akeno's shoulder, "I was hoping she could show me around the human world then maybe I could show her what my world is like, would you like my dear?" he asked with a playful tone before giving the two men on the roof a slightly dark gaze that told them he was prepared to kill this girl if they made a wrong move. "I'll even let you scurry home to your Soul Society and report that I'm here, but know this, you send anyone after me I'll defend myself, it is my right as a sentient being after all."

Adam stared blankly at the arrancar drew his blade. I doubt he would release so soon. Many arrancar pride prevent them from releasing their sword unless they have to.He also thinks I just a normal shinigami? Bow boy was able to sense the other me but looks like this arrancar cant. So his sensing skills are not that ken but still high enough to locate with easy. Looks like I was able to get a little useful information already. Now I have to hope bow boy does not have a short temper. Adam rub his forehead a little bit before looking back at the arrancar." Forgive me arrancar but usually your kin don't just come to the living world for a stroll but to kill or eat souls. If your so inclined on looking around then why did you choose to draw your sword? Also I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I tag along since like you said nether of our kind get to come to this world much? As for taking her back to Hueco Mundo I can't allow a soul to go there that's not already dead. If she would like to know what Hueco Mundo is like we could take a trip over to the sand dunes here when it gets dark?" Adam would normal would not talk this way to a Arrancar but right now he didn't have many options. Adam knew he had a very slim chance to best the arrancar in combat to a draw with the help of bow boy. He would not openly chose to fight the arrancar unless he had to.
Adam glanced at how Matrero placed his hand on Akeno's shoulder. Looks like arrancar either planning on using that human girl soul as a shield or could he be interested in the girl itself? If he is interested then he would not intentionally kill her but could hurt her to scare us to back off. Adam started to rub his forehead again. He had an eery feeling that s**t was about to hit the fan very soon.

Aki looked confused as his sister jumped to the defense of the Arrancar. Did she really think that just because he looked human he would have a second thought about killing her if it helped him in some way? Did she really think so low of him? He had been at this long enough to know how to spot evil. It was his duty as a Quincy to punish the evil souls of hollow. They didn't deserve to continue breathing. They didn't deserve a chance at redemption in his mind. This certainly wasn't his first Arrancar. Granted the last one had been quite a bit weaker. He was obviously a higher level of hollow prior to undergoing the transformation. Still to hear his sister call him cruel even after everything he had done for her and how nice he had been the entire time, cut him rather deep. "Akeno, since when has my judgement been wrong?" Seeing the Arrancar draw his sword, Aki flinched. Usually that was a sign of aggression, but for some reason he was using it as a sign of peace. Clearly he wasn't extremely intelligent in Aki's eyes. Not that the Quincy expected him to be. He was a hollow.
Hearing the Arrancar call him a Quincy, Aki's eye's narrowed. How did he know? Listening in silence his expression made it clear his sister would not be stepping a foot inside Hueco Mundo. Whatever the man's obvious interest in Akeno stemmed from, Aki would not let her leave unless it was over his dead body. Letting the Reaper throw in his two cents Aki kept his Seele Schneider out. "My sister will not be going to Hueco Mundo, and she will not be giving you a tour alone." For all Aki knew the Arrancar would rape Akeno and kill her. Clearly he had some sick interest in her.
(Sorry it's been a looooooong week.)

Matrero took another swig of his drink and looked at the two men, "Eh to be honest I hate the company of men, they just bring the mood down." he said in a playful manner, "And I drew my blade to show I have no intentions of transforming, you know that one of my kind must take on a certain pose and call out the name of the blade to change, I must call it out while drawing it. So see? I would have to return my blade to my belt and redraw it to use my powers. You two could take me down with that big an opening." His words were lies, every bit of them, his position in truth required his blade to be driven into a surface, so he had sped up the transformation should he need it. He was playing games, he could feel there power level and he knew they had no hope against him, so he was playing a game. "Though this could be decided without violence, a game perhaps?" he suggested with a smile, he loved his games, they made his life worth living, well... life is such a vague word.
"I will create four images of myself and I will give you each one swing, hit the real me and I'll return to Hueco Mundo without a fight, fail and I get to take the girl on a nice little outing without your interference." he told them before taking a few steps back and closing his eyes, as he did four more of him appeared making five on the roof top, "Well, fire at will." all five said at once with smug grins. This too was a lie of sort, in truth these illusions were after images and he was moving between all five spots, what they were trying to hit was a moving target that there eyes couldn't possibly follow, his 'game of luck' was in fact a challenge in futility, he would simply avoid the spot that they aimed at and there attack would dismiss the image. He would win every time and it served as a good warm up for when they attacked him out of rage. "The lady may play as well but if she picks the right one she chooses her fate without your interference, fare yes?" if she chose one by touching or gesturing he would let the girl win, thus proving himself a man of his word to her, making her brother seem even more wrong about him, though he wasn't planning on letting an attack strike him in case she wasn't as dense as he assumed.

Adam left ear buzzed as a message was relayed to him. This arrancar really thinks I'm that naive.let out a sigh after Matrero finished talking. "Arrancar you look down on me it seems. I can tell part of what you just spoke is in fact a lie. I seen enough arrancar to know you don't have to have your blade draw to transfer into your released form. Second how do we know these images are not after images of you moving at high speed? I know hollows,arrancar ,and even shinigami don't fight or play fair. It's called having an advantage.You never said you stay in one place nor did you speak of any stipulations of what we can use. So my answer to your game is this I can cast a certain kido to locate which one is the real one or possible to show your just moving between all of them. From there I could choose which image is the real you or calculate which one of the images is the currently the real you. In the end I'll be able to choose the real you. So can we say I just won or are you going to make me cast to kido to prove I can pick the correct one?" Check and Mate. Now time to see if you stay true to your word or loss your temper because I bested you in your loosely worded rules for this game? Adam figured the arrancar would not happy how Adam just out smarted him at his own little game. Adam already bought all the time he needed to be ready for the fight.

Akeno Yoshida  Akeno stared at all of them, she couldn't believe how ill behaved all of them were acting. They seemed to be fighting over nothing. None of them had attacked anyone, there wasn't really any violence, they were just being spiteful. But it all came down to one simple fact and Akeno knew it. 'Men...' Akeno thought with a sigh.
Akeno looked over at the Arrancar, he had called her brother something. Something she did not understand or ever heard of before. A Quincy. She didn't know what that was. It was a entirely new word to her. Akeno reached her hand out and touched the arm of the Arrancar. She knew that her brother wouldn't tell her if she asked. "Whats a Quincy?"Akeno asked the Arrancar looking up at him with a soft puppy dog look. Her bracelets on her wrist jingled as they hit each other. Akeno then looked at the Shinigami as she touched a soild figure of the Arrancar. Did she just won the stupid game? Akeno put her hand on her hip. "Your the meanest reaper I have ever met!!" Akeno snapped as she stuck her tongue out.

Matrero laughed as the girl touched him and the other images vanished, "Well Shinigami it seems you need to learn to act instead of talk, you've lost." he said calmly before looking at the girl and smiling, "A Quincy is a very spiritually aware human who uses special weapons to hunt and destroy hollows. They strike us down and destroy our souls indiscriminately." he explained calmly before looking at the Quincy with a sharp glare, "Even those hollows born of sorrow or fear are seen as monsters, those of us that exist because of the evil of humans not the darkness of our own hearts. For example if a man were killed because of his religion, called a heretic for simply having faith in the wrong god and tortured then burned alive, that man could cling to the mortal world in hopes of seeing his name cleared, the title of criminal washed from his innocent grave. Slowly the grief of seeing his family persecuted and one by one killed would get to him and he would give in to the shadows. To the Quincy a man of such sorrow is no different then one who turned to the darkness after a life of murder and debauchery. That my dear is what a Quincy is." he explained calmly, "They are those who destroy without reason, who shoot without question and who kill without remorse."
After his rather solemn explanation he smiled at her, "So you won the game, make your choice, would you like to be my friend or would you rather I return alone to my home?" he asked in a calm tone as he examined the girls expression, hopefully his explanation hadn't upset her, he had no intention of lieing about such a thing.

Aki completely ignored the Arrancar's offer to play a game and all the dialogue before it. He wasn't here to play games. The Shinigami seemed intent to beat the arrancar at what was likely a rigged game in the first place and Aki simply rolled his eyes at the two men. There was one thing that needed cleared up though. "Akeno will not be going anywhere alone with you no matter what. I don't play games." Akeno was being frustratingly naive and it was enough to be groan inducing. She clearly didn't know the whole story about hollow if she thought this man was any different. His claim to having drawn his sword to prevent releasing easily was likely a complete and utter lie. They did that often. The moment the word Quincy left his sister's mouth however, Aki glared at the man. Before a word could be gotten in edgewise the man went into a long winded explanation that clearly painted his kind as the abused and hunted. As the victims they were not. There wasn't an innocent Arrancar out there.
"Don't you dare act innocent. While not all hollow are created out of evil, all arrancar are made by at least the consumption of numerous humans and souls. As well as cannibalism of your own kind. Even if they were innocent in the past life the moment they become hollows and feed on human souls they cease being innocent. You reap what you sow arrancar. And your eventual fate is deserved." It may have seemed cold, but he would not have the man turn him into the bad guy in his sister's eyes. It was already bad enough she was looking to the man for answers. "Besides if there was another way to purify hollows I would take it, but I will not sit by and watch your kind feed on humans." Hopefully his sister stopped conversing with the man, but deep down the quincy doubted it.

Adam ignored Akeno words. He was used to people calling him strange,evil,weird or just ignoring him. Adam just turned to Aki when when Akeno messed up Adam's plans by touching Matrero's hands. Glancing his head towards Aki Is she really worth it? he thought before turning his head back towards Matrero. He stood their listening to the arrancar words He speaks turn not all hollows are born from evil Adam then rub his head hearing Aki defend his kind in their idea of a noble quest. Why do all Quincy say usually the say thing to justify their actions? "Aki he is right in that Quincy's powers kill hollows regardless of their past of how they came to be. The soul being destroy. There is another way to purify hollows without destroy the soul. That is the job of an shinigami. Our soul slayer purify the sins a hollow has committed after death. So only those who committed mortal sins like murder do not go to Soul Society or what you call heaven. For them the gates of Hell will open. Their they will stay while slowly dieing unable to escape. We are getting off topic however."Adam turned and looked at directly at Matrero." Regardless of what Akeno wishes arrancar do you plan to leave peaceful and alone when this little game is all over? Because I can deal with you her, him , and me walking around the town seeing the sites if in the end no one gets hurt and you return to your home in peace?"
Adam was done playing little games with the arrancar. If showing the arrancar around town would keep everyone alive and have the arrancar go home alone then so be it. He was not however going to waste time in these little games if the end result was a fight. "Do you give your word to this girl you to keep this promise arrancar?" Adam was trying to get Matrero to promise his word to Akeno who he seemed he wanted the trust of for one reason or another. That way if Matrero breaks his promise then he would be lying to Akeno.

Akeno Yoshida Akeno started to blink confused, everyone was talking at once and it was making her mind work over time and she didn't like it. She wanted nothing more to do with it. She just wanted to stop thinking about it, so she just dropped what everyone was saying and turned towards the Arrancar and took his hand into hers "I want to be your friend, I see people for the kindness in their hearts and I can see in your eyes that you have kindness in you... I doubt you have any ill will towards me,"Akeno announced, she actually almost sounded like she was wise in saying this but it was probably not at all and just one of those spur of the moment things that had came out of her head.

Matrero looked at the girl with a bit of a shocked expression, he had something smart to say in retort to the two men who were annoying him but her comment about kindness in his heart made it vanish from his mind, "Uhm... thank you, being friends would be great..." he said in a bit of a shocked manner before regaining his composure and looking to the two men present, "My sins are my own to know and as for my returning to that desolate bore of a plane, I was actually thinking of acquiring one of the fake bodies you soul reapers use and taking residence in the living world." he said with a bit of a shrug, "I just wanted someone to show me around this town so I could know if I wanted to live here or not." he said with a bit of a smug grin, "I mean what would the harm be, it would take two captain level reapers to even put a dent in me so it's not like anyone around here could force me back through and I want to be human again, it's kind of a dream of mine to rip off what remains of this mask." he said gesturing to the fragment of a mask that still remained on his face.

This talk is getting us no where fast. It obvious this arrancar playing games with us. He is trying to get us to make the first move. First he drew his sword. Then he made us play find the real me. I would have won if the little girl didn't try to touch him. He allowed the girl to touch him because if he didn't I clearly showed I beat him and would of sent him packing home. Next he tried to provoke the quincy by demeaning of what he is in front of this little girl. Now he basically said indirectly I don't plan to go home but just seeing if I want to live in this town before moving on to the next town. Time to end this nonsense and get things moving.
Adam looked straight at the arrancar showing no emotion." Arrancar your time here grows short." Adam paused and moved his hand to his left ear. He pulled something out of his ear and then moved his hand to present an ear piece." 12th squad has been tracking you since you got here and have started to mobilize the captains to come meet you here to eliminate you. Now we can show you around town real quick now or you better leave for they will be here in a little bit. You don't have anymore time ideal chatter anymore. Yes you might kill one or two captains but even Vasto lords alone have their limits. Do I need to remind you of what happened to Aizen and then Vasto Lords that followed him? One Vasto Lord vs 11 Captains which includes the Captain Commander. Ever since the war with Aizen it was decreed that if any hollow or arrancar that showed up in the living world with the level of that of a Vasto Lord then the captains would be deployed to mop up the left overs from the war with Aizen. So now I ask you again.Well you take the quick tour around town and then leave immediately following right now or not?" Adam was at full alert.
He was done playing with this arrancar who clear did not intend to keep his word but kept changing things to string them along. What Adam just said was partly of a bluff. Yes it was true that 12th squad was tracking him and was starting to organize the captains to meet this threat but he did not know when they would show up or how far they into gathering the captains. Adam closed his hand around the ear piece so the arrancar could not try to snatch it away from him.
