Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light...."The bounty has been recalled," Rashir told the firebender, completely ignoring the woman, "She was arrested earlier today and I paid her bail." He continued his walk away from them heading in the direction he knew Xane had been before to catch up with her. "Now if you wouldn't mind, I would like to go make sure my friend is alright." He left the others behind, not saying another word and headed out of this section of town. ((Exit to Lower-classed Section)) ...or I could be the flames of disaster

*~Cruxis Aranthal~* Cruxis laughed "I like it, the name suits me. What could we call my brother though...well when we get to him I'm sure you'll be able to come up with one." He sighed again when she said she couldn't help with his wound. "Oh well I'm sure Auron has something on him. Shall we? If your job is as exciting as you say it is I can't wait to start!" He had almost forgotten about the firebender, but that seemed to be alright because he had already left. Cruxis hoped on Infurnus and trotted off toward the Lower-class District at a slow pace assuming Violet would follow. [Exit to Lower-class District]

It had taken quite longer than Hawke expected, by weeks. But the boy had finally found a city, the Republic City of all things. His legs were sore and stiff from all the sitting, so when he finally get out of his boat the boy tripped over, fall to the ground only to use his hands so his head wouldn't hit the ground. His glasses, however, fell to the ground and he cursed silently in his head as he tried to find them again but seemed to be unsuccessful until the little white bird that hung out with him flew to the ground, picked up the glasses, and then put them in Hawke's hand gently and slowly so he realized what was going on. He put on the glasses and gave a sigh of relief, gently petting the bird's head with one finger in appreciation. He then took his bag of clothes, his only possession, and quickly found someone to sell his boat to, since he figured he'd have no reason to have it any longer. Finally the boy turned to look at the place his boat had brought him too, and dread almost filled his heart. It was a city, a really really big city, and it was cramped with people, crawling all over the place. It was a nightmare for this anti-social boy. At first he tried to find a place with very few people but was extremely unsuccessful, and noticed it too as his stomach growled with hunger. His heart filled with more dread as he realized he'd have to talk to someone in order to get food with the small amount of money he had gained from selling his boat. So he tried to find a restaurant to visit, however along the way person after person kept on bumping into him, and with each bump his heart rate rose higher and higher until he had finally had enough. "STOP. TOUCHING. ME!!!" The boy screamed at the top of his lungs, which was actually the first thing he had ever said in his life, as he opened his palms and then closed them both into fists and crossed his arms in front of his chest, pulling his arms as close to him as possible, almost crushing his chest completely. However, he wasn't doing this just for show, every single liquid near him, water, tea, oil, etc., all came to him, forming a bubble around him that instantly froze in such a thick and multi-colored layers that anyone's attempt to get through it with weapons wouldn't of been successful.

The buffalo yak's head shot up immediately, his ears flicking up in alert. "Today's the day, Atka!" A blond girl cried, rushing into the room, hugging onto the creature's neck. "Were finally going to see Republic City!" Miki smiled up at Atka before getting back to her feet, adjusting her lighter clothing. She wasn't accustomed to such garments; living in the Northern Water Tribe meant thick coats and fur. But her new attire consisted of a pale azure sleeveless turtleneck shirt with detached white sleeves that ended just above her finger tips. A matching white sash wrapped around her waist, reaching about mid thigh before slim black trousers were revealed. They went all the way down before ending in dark blue boots. Atka sniffed at her hair before getting to his feet. Miki smiled and placed his saddle on, making sure that her bag was tied securely to his harness. "The big city awaits!" She whispered excitedly. The blond exited through the cargo hold, thanking the sailors from her home tribe for the help. They informed her that they'd be at the port every two weeks, so whenever she was ready to go home, she'd have a way back. The sunlight drenched the two as they made their way out of the shadow of the ship. The was perfectly warm, and Atka seemed to appreciate his new hair cut. Ignoring the strange looks she was receiving, Miki reached into Atka's saddle bag and fished out a small scroll. She was to stay with friends of the chief that resided in the city in the upper districts. Stuffing the scroll into her sash, the blond climbed up onto the buffalo yak's saddle. With a tug at his reins, Atka moved forward in a swift walk, being lead carefully through the slow-moving crowds. Steadily the docks disappeared behind her as Miki entered the middle class area. She awed at the dirigibles that floated like butterflies in the air, and the the rumbling automobiles that darted through the streets. Odd looks continues with a sheepish grin and wave from the girl in response. Maybe it would have been wise to not travel by buffalo yak. Finally she found a map in and examined it from up on Atka's back. "Oh, wow...The city is a lot bigger than I thought..." She murmured, her eyes trying to remember specific landmarks and names. Atka's ears stuck up, his head shooting in a direction. Then Miki heard it. A scream, followed by a few others. Curiosity perked up in her and Atka. A little ways off, a boy surround himself in any liquid around. A fellow waterbender. A bit of a weirdo, but still a waterbender. Miki grinned childishly and crossed over to the area, moving her hand down, causing the icy bubble to melt at the boy's feet. "You might want to be more careful. You could really hurt someone by stealing water." She called to him, smiling warmly. "I mean, I wouldn't want to be taking a bath and then find all my water gone." People stared at her either suspiciously or in marvel. 'Must be their first time seeing a big fella' like Atka.' Miki figured, her cerulean eyes going back to the boy.

Hawke looked up at the girl that took down his ice, his eyes wide and full of nothing but fear as his heart was beating so fast that it took him a while to even register what she had said to him. Finally he registered what had happened, she was a water bender, and not just any. He recognized her from the Northern Water Tribe, where he had just been asked to leave. Every muscle in the boy's body told him to run, run as fast as he could and to not look back as a crowd started to gather: People, the very thing that Hawke hated to be around the most. With a weak attempt, Hawke tried to open his mouth to say something, but fear still gripped his voice as all that came out was just a ragged breath. Before his little outbreak, the boy, almost a young man, had never spoken before, so he still didn't really know how to use his voice anyways. Luckily he didn't need to use his voice as his little white friend, the mysterious bird that no one had ever seen before, flew in front of the girl's face and chirped happily, then returned to Hawke's shoulder. It was then that Hawke finally saw the girl's companion and couldn't help but smile nervous, he loved animals more than anything else, so seeing the guy helped some of the nervousness go away. It took him almost a whole couple minutes, but Hawke had finally regained himself while noticing that some people were upset about him taking the liquids. So, with a single hand, Hawke lifted all the liquids off the ground, then, with his other hand, he separated all of them perfectly and moved them so that any dirt, or anything else that was in the liquids, come out, making all of them perfectly clean and usable again. Finally he put all of them back to where they belonged, however, all the people that he returned them too seemed to have a look of disgust and didn't care for it anymore. This didn't affect Hawke though, he was used to this kind of scorn, even from the Northern Water Tribe, he was different, and no one liked that, at all, plus the fact that he never spoke just freaked out everyone.

Rashir Fenrick Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir came back to the Middle-classed Section, it seemed like he was everywhere today going back and forth like this. He carried the earthbender that had helped Xane and he before while he was unconscious from injury. The closest hospital was quite a walk, up towards the border to the Upper-classed Section, so he had to speed walk as much as he could. "Hang in there," he said as he adjusted the body once again, "You'll be alright, just hang in there."...or I could be the flames of disaster

Xane walked behind the firebender staring at the earthbender. He was sure injured badly, so she was hoping they would make it in time. She could see the hospital in the distance though so it wasn't to far. She speed up her walking to keep up glancing every few seconds at Rashir. He was carrying the guy so at this he must be tried from all the events that occurred today. He still had a tournament to attend, hopefully his strength wasn't fully depleted. Once they made it to the hospital some nurses came out and took the boy into one of the rooms. The blonde knew he would live so she would be able to thank him for all his help. The female then turned her attention to Rashir and examined him. "How are you feeling? Its been a long day and we still need to compete in the Pro-Bending competition. On top of that training we have to do before we go head to head with the opponents." She exclaimed a little worried about the boy.
She sighed and started to dig in her bag for replenishment's, but no were to be found. She lifted her head back up in sadness. "I don't have anything to give you. I know your tried and need something to boost your strength..." She felt like a terrible friend. One for causing trouble and the other for not being able to give Rashir something as pay back for everything hes done for her. At least, she can prove herself by fighting buy his side and winning.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir smiled, "Nonsense. You don't have to give me anything." He did feel pretty tired though from all his running around, but he didn't want to show it too much. "I'll be fine." His main focus right now was on the boy that had helped them, he was trying to keep the match today out of his head as much as he could. He simply sat in the waiting room chair, extended his feet, and relaxed while he waited for the nurse, doctor, or even the earthbender himself to come out and let them know how he was doing. ...or I could be the flames of disaster

The buffalo yak snorted in response, his dull gaze scanning the crowd in an uninterested fashion. She ran a hand through the trimmed fur at his neck, sensing his agitation at the new environment. She was starting to not enjoy it very much either. "There. Now was that so hard?" Miki questioned the boy, cocking her head to the side. Her hand slid out of the animal's fur, falling at her side. Glancing around, her petal pink lips turned downwards into a frown. They obviously were still upset about the little episode from earlier. This was different from her home. Whenever she did something wrong, like accidentally making an ice pillar collapse, all she was given was stern talking to by the chief. But here, they just stared with a venomous hatred. Miki was just relieved these cruel stares weren't directed at herself, even if that was selfish to think of. Eyes still dwindled on her; she felt them. All different colors and shapes. They were inspecting her, trying to deem her a threat or a nuisance or something she couldn't quite place. Suddenly, four children came forward, slowly and gingerly, making their way over to Atka. He stared at them with his piercing black eyes as they neared. The youngest, a girl, continued forward as her companions fell back. And then it clicked in Miki's head. They've never seen a buffalo yak before. The blond stepped closer to the girl, crouching down beside the child. "Don't worry. He's a real sweetheart." Miki told her, guiding the girl's hand to his soft fur. The girl giggled at the feeling, a motion that encouraged the other children to come and try. This gesture was, unknowingly to Miki, a sign that she wasn't a problem, and the citizens carried on with their daily routine; only the children remaining behind. "It's like silk!" One of the children awed. A boy held his hand out to Atka's face. The buffalo yak's long neck extended down and his rose tongue darted out, lapping at the boy's fingers, causing the child to squeal. The other children laughed, and it even roused a laugh from Miki. "Excuse me, miss," The first girl from earlier said, turning to the blond. "Are you from the Northern Water Tribe?" Miki nodded her head. "Yep. I've come along way from home." "We learned about that tribe in school!" One of the boy's gasped, the children now coming over to inspect her. "Is it always cold up there?" Miki nodded in response. "You look old. Are you betrothed to anyone?" What? "Yeah! We learned that when you turn sixteen you get a necklace thingy that is a marriage proposal!" Miki blushed, her eyes looking away from the children as embarrassment set in. Oh, yes. She's received many of those. They were stuffed in a back fastened to Atka's saddle. She told every suitor that 'she'd think about it.' Suddenly she felt a tug at her sleeve. It was the girl from earlier; the first one to touch Atka. "Now's a very bad time for benders though, miss." She sputtered nervously, glancing around. A puzzled expression crossed the waterbender's face. "What do you me---" Another girl smacked the back of the younger girl's head. "Don't be such a jerk! She said she just got here and you're already gonna go and scare her!" The older girl snapped. Before Miki could get a question in, the children scampered off. "What does that mean...?" She whispered. Suddenly she remembered the other waterbender. Miki turned back to look at him and gave a small wave before moving back over to Atka. She clutched his reins and trotted him over to the boy. "I'm Miki Sialuk of the Northern Water Tribe. It's nice to meet you." The blond introduced herself, sticking out her hand for him to shake. She gave him the most gentle smile she could muster up.

At first Hawke had no idea as to why the girl was extending her hand to him, then it hit him: She wanted to shake hands. After the incident with the Southern Water Tribe, before he was found by the Northern, Hawke had never, ever, had physical contact with anyone. And he really didn't want to right now either. It wasn't that he hated people, it was a fear of them, a fear of being touched, he also had a fear of talking but he guessed he got over that one, now didn't he? At first he opened his mouth to try to speak, but like before nothing came out, so he swallowed and then tried again, this time being...half successful. "I-I...don't remember my n-name....when I was found I-i had a pendant of a H-Hawk....so people j-just called me H-Hawke....I'm from the Northern W-Water Tribe as well..." His voice was staggered, he was having a great trouble with not just the act of speaking, but just finding the words to say as well. As Hawke spoke to the girl, the little bird decided to examine her own companion as it landed on the creature's nose and chirped softly, multiple times as if attempting to carry on a conversation with it.

There goes friendly introductions. "Uh-huh..." Miki nodded her head, tuning in and out of his stammering. So much for trying at a conversation. "I can't say I miss the cold, but I do miss the snow." She sighed, looking around the gray environment. Up north, everything was a pristine white or lapis lazuli that glistened in the sunlight. Everything felt so bland and colorless here, save the people. They came in so many shapes and sizes, like up north, but colors as well. Brown eyes, red eyes, green eyes...Most, if not all waterbenders and non-benders from Northern or Southern tribe had the trademark blue ones. And they didn't wear traditional element garbs. But that segregation was long gone in places of peace she could only imagine. Miki turned her head back to where she thought the dock was. "I literally just got off a trading ship a few minutes ago. I'm supposed to go to the 'upper class' section, but this place is like one giant labyrinth." She threw up her arms in defeat, stretching shortly after. Atka stamped his feet a bit, an agitated gesture. The bird wasn't really helping his current state. "Guess the big guy doesn't like the concrete." Miki feigned a sigh and traversed over to him, scratching behind one of his horns. "After all, I raised Atka since he was just a calf. Being away from the snow and tundra must be a major change. Especially with this weather.." She shook her head and grinned back at Hawke. "But I digress. I'm straying off topic." Miki laughed sheepishly. Suddenly her facial expression became pensive, her sapphire eyes staring off into the distance. "Do you know what that little girl meant when she said it was a bad time for benders?"

The little bird immediately could tell that the creature was in distress so it flew back to Hawke with an almost soft apologetic chirp. Unlike Hawke, the little bird was quite the socialist and felt almost a bit sad that it seemed to reject it's company. Seeing the birds slight down attitude, Hawke gently petted it's head with two fingers while he listened to the girl. Even though Hawke never really talked to anyone, listening and information was really one of his strong suits, so he knew what she was asking about. The hate on benders made Hawke mad, not because he was annoyed with people trying to get rid of benders, but because that meant he couldn't hate fire benders any longer for the sake of the benders themselves. He had devoted his entire life to bending so that one day he could make the fire benders disappear from the world, and now these normal people thought they could take away his revenge from him? He wasn't going to stand for that, but what could he do on his own? Especially since he couldn't really talk at all. But, enough was enough, he needed to get out of his childish fear and start to grow up, fire benders took his family away, took his entire tribe away, hence his awkwardness and anti-social behavior. He let out a soft sigh finally, after standing there thinking for half a minute about how to answer the girl as he examined the people around him. I cannot let them haunt me any longer.... "Y-ya know....'Non-benders' don't like the benders at all. As to why they started to gather is unknown, I mean, there are claims that.....it's because they blame us for all the wars, that the wars were because the benders hated each other, so therefore we ravaged the lands in order to defeat each other. Another reason could very well be because they're simply jealous of us because they don't have 'powers' as they call it. Either way, their entire goal is to get rid of us benders, and of course...the only way to do that is to make sure that we never have children....either by killing us all or something." It took a while, but eventually Hawke's eyes almost opened up wide in surprise at the fact that not only had he said all that, but with how his voice sounded. Although it wasn't some fully grown adult voice, it was definitely a hell of a lot more mature than his previous stuttering, though his body language still gave off that he was timid.

__________________________________________█ Tatsuya Yamada - Equalist__________________________________________█ Miki Sialuk - WaterbenderLuck seemed to be more and more on his side. Tatsuya wasn't one for straying into the middle class section, but today he just so happened to find himself there. Watching two waterbenders. And it wasn't even his birthday. He smirked, finding this a little too ironic and all the more perfect. The girl seemed far more easier to approach than the male, so he would take his chances with her. Tatsuya strode over to her, tapping her shoulder gently. "I couldn't help but overhear you say you're new to the city, right?" He questioned, giving her a warm smile. She blinked up at him before nodding her head slowly. "Did you try looking at the map?" Tatsuya continued, jerking his finger at the map plastered to the wall that was stationed behind the buffalo yak. "Of course I did. If you consider that confusing picture a map." The girl shot back, crossing her arms over her chest. He couldn't help but chuckle at the defiant pose she took on. "Then maybe I can help. I was born and raised here. Just tell me where." He confessed, guiding her over to the map and away from the other boy. "Oh. Right. Where are my manners? I'm Tatsuya." The man introduced himself with a mock bow, causing the girl to finally smile. "I'm Miki Sialuk of the Northern Water Tribe. Charmed, I'm sure." The girl responded, fishing out something from the sash at her waist. She gave him a scroll, murmuring "Have a field day with this," and turned her attention back to the map. Tatsuya stared at Miki for a few seconds before unraveling the scroll, finding an address on it. "It's here." He told her, pointing his finger on an unknown place to her. "It's pretty far from here though. You obviously got lost." He grinned as he watched her pout. "I'm not lost," Miki protested like a child, "I was just...Having a look around the city." A lie. A pretty bad one. Even she noticed this, her cheeks tinging red with embarrassment. Tatsuya flashed her a cocky grin, evidently finding much joy in teasing her. With a heavy sigh, she threw her hands up in defeat. "Okay, okay! I'm lost. Happy now?" Miki questioned, glaring up at him. Oh, he was. He had already marked out where all her pressure points were in just that movement she made alone. "You could say that...I'd offer to take you there in my satomobile, but I don't think your big friend over there would fit..." The black haired man glanced back at Atka who snorted in response. "Fair enough. We can take Atka then since I doubt I'd know how to get there on my own. My parents insist that I'm directionally challenged." The blond shrugged, adjusting the beast's saddle. "No way I'm riding that. If the police catch you running around on that on the sidewalk, they might take you in for disturbing the peace." "Lack there of." Tatsuya shook his head. She was going to be stubborn. "Fine. We'll just walk ther-- Where are you going?" Tatsuya called after her as she ran back to the other waterbender. "Do you want to come with us? The people I'm staying with are really nice. They're non-benders from the Northern Water Tribe. They also make really good snacks and I'm sure they wouldn't mind more company." Miki told Hawke, smiling giddily. She could already taste the arctic hen dumplings they used to make.

Tony REDgrave Tony hopped off the roof, his long, lazy trek out of the lower class district finally to a close. He walked down the streets wandering aimlessly. After a few minutes of wandering, he came upon what appeared to be two water benders and another man who didn't seem overly important at the time. "Excuse me." He said as past. He continued his walk just ignoring the icy, hostile atmosphere that seemed to radiate from the area. He would keep walking and not give it a second thought. As was his nature. Redgrave even stopped yammering because it was such a strangly hostile aura for no apparent reason.

Hawke eyed the man suspiciously the entire time he was trying to show Miki some sort of map. It wasn't that he thought the man was bad or anything, but the vibe he was giving off was just...creepy, like he was some sort of womanizer or something. So his first initial thought was like hell he was going to go with that man, especially since he was just getting used to being around one person. Though he had just had his first moment of clarity in his speech, he still wasn't sure about himself, not yet. He was seriously thinking about refusing the offer when he saw a little kid, just a small boy, practicing his fire bending, failing miserably of course, but even that was enough to startle Hawke as slight fear appeared in his eyes. When he realized that a small fire bender had stirred fear in him, Hawke's cheeks turned a bit red as he quickly nodded in acceptance of Miki's offer, anything to get out of here, especially if it was going to be in a pace with Water Tribe members, even if they weren't benders. "S-sure. And, if you wish, I'll ride your animal friend there with you, though I think my own companion will get a bit jealous, not my fault he's not big enough to ride though." And with that, the little bird pretended to be angry as it gave off a few fake angry chirps.
