Seremela chuckled. "They were just telling me a funny story. I responded with my own. I told them that I was in the middle of something and they were polite enough to leave." Mel smiled. "Some people aren't really "gifted" in taking care of animals. Each Elf of my race has to specialize in something, with the rare exception of two things to specialize in. Mine is archery and animals."

Ace's eyes softened on hers. "Your thoughtful, three. Your clever, four. You adjust extremely well, five. You have exceptional survival skills, six. It seems like you can connect to any weapon, seven. You have many skills. Don't limit yourself to only two."

Seremela smiled, starting to blush again. "Thanks, but none of those things don't really count..." Mel was now a soft pink again.

"Screw that. It counts. If you limit your mind to thinking you can only do two things then you close off your mind to all of the other fantastic things that you do." Ace looked out the window as a shark swam by. "I'm still deciding whether or not that's legal."

Seremela sighed then looked at the shark passing by, then waved at it. It stopped and swam over to Mel. Mel chuckled and told the shark that she was busy. The shark then slowly swam away. "I like all the animals here. They're always so friendly."

Ace smirked an unfriendly smiled and watched the shark swim away. "Yeah tell that to the ones that attack me on a daily basis." He looked at Mel. "The animals aren't fond of me. That shark almost took my arm off once." He laughed a bit. "Have you ever had any pets?"

Seremela sighed. "Well, no. Never had a pet. My adopted mother would never allow it." Mel sighed sadly, then all the fish and some sharks swam up to where she was. The sharks didn't even bother to harm the other fishes. She chuckled.

Ace smiled shyly at her. "Um, maybe you and I can find a pet and you can help me take care of it. I like animals they just aren't that fond of me." He waved and smiled to some of the fish, but they swam away. "See. They just don't like me."

Seremela tilted her head. "Get a pet? Okay, but we need you to change some things... first of all, you're too tense. Second of all, you need to act relaxed and natural around animals. And third of all, the air around you just screams danger. Those things can make a difference, you know."

"Danger? Well, that would Explain why everyone is just naturally afraid of me.I will try to, um, lighten up." Ace thought for a second. "Er, how exactly does one lighten up or relax?" He felt a bit stupid for not knowing. Everyone seemed to be able to do it but him.

Mel chuckled. "In order to relax? You have to be calm, don't act as if something will pop up and try to kill everyone. To lighten up, it's basically the same thing, but get rid of your stress in the process and be more... happy." Mel tilted her head, trying to remember anything that would also help the subject, but nothing popped up.

"But-" He figured that she was right. "I'll try." He said looking into her eyes. "You know. I don't think I've ever let me guard down until now. and It is quite . . . relaxing" He was a little confused, but it was working. "How is that danger feeling?"

Seremela chuckled, seeing some fish coming back. "You don't seem to have that "danger sense" anymore, so that's good. See? Some of the fish are coming back." Mel smiled at Ace. It literally has been a decade since she smiled, or even longer.

Ace smiled at the fish. "It's weird. I feel so vulnerable, but at the same time I feel safe." He looked at her. He knew it was e that made him feel better and even change his ways. "Whey was your first impression of me?"

Seremela chuckled, then smirked, raising an eyebrow at him. "You mean when you ran up to where I used to live, with your hand still touching your sword, and how you just seemed to be ready to attack me? First impression is kinda obvious, don't ya think? Dangerous and not to be messed with. When we first started talking, somewhat tense, cautious, and somewhat nice. There seemed to be like... how do I describe it? A wall that surrounded you, keeping the real you from sight." Mel tilted her head. "What was your first impression of me?"
