Dahji Firefoo t What was he to do now?The male in question was silently making his way down a trail in the woods. A lovely young blonde cradled carefully in his arms lest she break.He sighed and shifted her carefully so her head would rest more comfortably on her shoulder. He glanced down at her, his brown eyes peeking out from behind his shaggy reddish blond hair.She had fallen ill, it had to have been the elements. They had been traveling together for a while now. She had hired him to protect her. What a good guard he turned out to be. Now she wasn't feeling well.There had to be shelter somewhere close by, there just had to be. Dahji picked up the pace. He had to hurry. As he turned around another bend he paused but only for a split second. Wolf And Rose huh? Relief washed through him he hurried on, took the steps three at a time and gently shouldered the door open. Hello? He called walking further into the building. Gemini...I found shelter.. He whispered softly to the woman in his arms.

Eva looks up as she hears footsteps, frowning as they come inside. "What happened?" Crossing to them she gestures to a couch. "I'm Eva, this is my home." Three crimson fox tails sway behind her, matching ears twitch o her head. Dark red hair frames her porcelain face and sapphire eyes.
Gemini was unconscious for the last mile of their journey. Stirring as the warmth of the room hits her, she opens her emerald eyes. "Dahji? Where are we?" Her voice is soft both in tone and volume. Her skin is pale and she looks half frozen even though it's spring out.

Dahji nodded to the woman who greeted them noting her kitsune like features. Would she take kindly to a fire cat in her home? Thankfully his feline features were rather well hidden, even his ears in his human form looked almost like an elf's. We were traveling, she suddenly fell ill. I think. He answered as he gently set Eva down on the couch grateful for the fire. He had tried to keep Gemini warm with his own flame, but his main thoughts were, get her to shelter.We're in Wolf and Rose Tavern Gemini, you'll be in good hands here. He said, hoping that was true. He turned to Eva. Name's Dahji this is Gemini....um...do you have any vacancies left Ms Eva? I don't mind the price...I just need a place for her to get well. He said.

Thank you he replied as Eva headed off to get something to eat for Gemini. He turned to the blond and tried to smile, but it stopped short of his eyes. I'm sorry Gemini...I didn't expect to keep you out in the elements as long as we were..... He paused when Eva returned with the soup, he thanked her again and took his bowl as she handed the other to his companion. He took a small sip and beamed at the mistress of the establishment. This is very good..thank you. He glanced back to Gemini, his brown eyes concerned. Are you alright? He asked her.

"It's okay... I've gone through a lot worse. It's just been awhile." Gemini finishes her soup and leans against Dahji. "Now we have a location I can port to if needed though. Thanks again Eva. Can we get a room?"
"You're both welcome. I will get you a key." Moving behind the bar Eva grabs one and brings it to Dahji. "Can I get you anything else? You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like by the way."

More relief washed over his handsome face as he took the key from Eva. He smiled kindly to the woman. Thank you again...we should be fine. I'll help her to the room so she can wash up and rest. With that said Dahji helped Gemini to her feet, he carefully led her to the room slid the key into the lock and opened the door. The fire cat blinked one bed..hmm, alright then, Gemini would obviously get the bed, and he could curl up in his cat form either with her or on the floor. That would all depend on her, usually every place they had stayed had two beds. Oh what ever so long as she can rest comfortably...I can figure out something. She likes my feline form so that shouldn't be a problem He though to himself.Out loud he saidHere, get some rest Gemini. I'm gonna explore the place for a little while. He smiled at her and turned to leave her to her rest.

He blinked at her startled. Dahji was silent for a moment contemplating whether or not he should let her come or make her rest. Finally he smiled at her. Alright. He said. But if you start to feel ill again, we're coming right back and you are getting rest. My job is to protect you and make sure you are in good health. His tone was gentler. He let her take the lead out of the room.

"I will don't worry. Thank you." Walking out of the room Gemini explores the upper floors with hi before heading downstairs. The building is beautiful yet simple. There isn't much to it, but all of it is ornate and handcrafted. Heading outside into the spring air she admires all of the flowers.

He followed her all over the inn. It was small, but nicely decorated. A lovely little place, Eva took care of it from he could tell. Soon enough they were outside in the gardens. This is a nice place. Who would have guessed it was out in the forest. he replied watching her admire the roses. He smiled a little, something he had come to enjoy was watching her reactions to her surroundings, like now. She seemed calm and peaceful. A lovely thing to see. He coughed just slightly and shifted in his little lion form. He was no bigger than the size of a half grown house cat, his coloring was not your norm for a lion, no, his coat had more shades of red and orange and gold, hues of a fire. He padded over to Gemini and batted at her leg, trying to be cute.

I didn't realize we had gone so long with out proper food in the past few days. I'm sorry Gemini. He replied then growled at the mention of her father. Sure his own father had been rough, but that was just an alpha male showing a cub how to survive. What her father did was just cruel. Don't worry Gemini....I promise to do better. You won't have to go through any of that again. Fire cats are built differently I guess....
