Aria shrugged and smiled. "It's why I don't come up here often. But I always come up after the sacrifice, to ensure she is satisfied. I began walking as soon as I saw her take you. It's taken me while to get here." She said as if it was obvious.

"Actually, it's my travel rations I packed for myself." Aria answered just as smoothly. "But I figured you would need it more than I do. I'll be back in my village my nightfall. But I don't know when you'll get proper food. I've never seen her well, not eat the sacrifice." She frowned slightly. "What will happen to the village now? She only leaves the village and our flocks alone because we give her the sacrifice to eat....."

"Hmmm. I would think that you would have eaten your rations on the journey here. Especially considering you didn't even know I had survived until you made your way here.....oh but don't mind me. Juat a bit paranoid is all." Edwin said with a smirk. "As for your flocks, I suspect that they will be left alone. A single human is not equal to multiple cows and sheep. I believe our draconic host has many other means of finding food. Besides if I am more valuable to her alive then wouldn't that be worth much more than a single human snack?"

"I'm sure it will be fine." Edwin said with a nod, "You know, I didn't see you at the festival yesterday, I'm fairly certain everyone in the town was attending, I put on a special performance. I'm fairly certain that a few people even apologized to me." He chuckled, gesturing around him, "I see why they were apologizing now."

Aria's eyes widened as she realized she'd been caught in his trap. She chuckled, inclining her head to him in acknowledgement that he'd won this round. "Well played." She said with a smile. She rose to her feet and backed up to stand on one of the coin beds. Touching her pendant, she murmured a few words and her form returned to draconic form. She lowered her head back down to meet Edwin's eyes. "Very well played, human." She said approvingly.

Kelarias gave a chuckle that rumbled through her body and echoed mentally through Edwin's mind. She lay down, crossing her forepaws and laying her head on them, watching Edwin. "I did not lie though, when I said my name. Or rather, it is one of my names. My name is Kelarias'sethar Bik'are'rika Guarden'salath." The name rolled smoothly in his mind, but it was obvious that truly pronouncing it would be nigh on impossible. "It is Dragonic for 'The One Who is Left'. But those who try to say it usually simplify it. Kelarias, Kel, and Aria are all variations I have heard."

Kelarias cocked her head to the side. She'd never heard a human actually pronounce her name properly. She shook her head slightly. "Bik'are'rike is 'Who Has'. Bik'are'rika is 'Who Is'. I am named as such so I shall never forget." She said, sudden and fierce tone in her voice.
