"Um..." Alice surveyed the area around her and found it familiar. "Right here actually." she said. She pointed to a dark blue house. She looked at Jacob. "Sorry about today." she said. She really was. She was always putting him in danger when he was around her.

Jamie smiled "awesome" he said simpley as he grinned at her "it's a nice house" he said looking at it with an odd sense of familiarisation "how long have you lived here" he asked curiousley

"Um.. Just recently actually." She looked at the house. It was far bigger than what she was used to.

Jacob grinned "you must have a pretty big family" he noted with a small chuckle "I don't have to prove myself worthy to taking you to the cinima do I" he joked cheekely

Alice shook her head. "No, you don't have to prove yourself to anyone... I'm living there by myself." Alice winced on the inside. She said too much. She has never told anyone she was alone before. Never. "Um... So I guess... I'll see you tomorrow?"

Jacob paused, his face bright red "i'm sorry" he mumbled "I didn't relise" he admitted "yeah i will see you tomorow" he paused "hey if you ever get lonely and want to hang out or something" he pulled a small bussines card out of is pocket "this is the phone number for where I live, Just ask for me and i'll answar" he smiled as he gave her the St Gabriel's bussiness card "so i'll see you for a movie tomorow night" he asked with a small shy smile

Jacob smiled as he watched her enter her home, once she had left he groaned at himself "smooth" he muttered as he turned and began the long walk home. It was dark when Jacob reached the orphanage, he stepped inside the door where he was imedietley greated by a small horde of children, he played with them for a short while before seeing them off to bed, finaly he went to his own room, he fell back onto the bed and entered an exausted sleep

Alice entered her house and placed Jacob's card on the kitchen table. For a few moments, she looked at it and studied it carefully. Would calling right now send a bad message? Would it be too early? Alice blushed and slowly walked to her bedroom, up the staircase. She flopped down on the bed and curled up against the blankets. She played with her pillow's case, her thoughts circled around Jacob. She couldn't forget his sweet smile or how great his personality was. Just like him...., she thought. Her eyes began to close as she went into a light doze.

The sharp buzzing of Jacob's alarm woke him up, it may have been a Saturday, but there was no lie in for Jacob, he stretched and shut off his alarm, he gave his back a crack and stood up, it was four in the morning, the boy got himself a quick shower before dressing himself and heading towards the orphanages kitchen, he flicked on the gas for the large oven and placed a large pot on top of the blue flame, Jacob yawned tiredley as he began to make a large batch of porridge, he looked at the clock "plenty of time" he muttered with a small smile

Alice woke up a little after midnight. She didn't sleep very well now days. She went to the kitchen and grabbed something to eat. She also grabbed a small glass of a ruby colored liquid. She always kept a small amount of blood in emergencies. After eating, she took a quick shower and got dressed. She wandered her house for a while, bored. She sighed and came across Jacob's card. St. Gabriel Orphanage. Alice looked at the address then pocketed the card. She left her house and locked it behind her. She came by the orphanage around 6 o'clock. She looked at the towering building and took a few steps toward it before stopping. She hesitated before going in.

"hello my dear" a busy looking woman said politely as she looked up at Alice "how can I help you this morning" she winced as there was a smash from the room behind her "do excuse the noise, the children can be awfuly exiteable in the morning" she chuckled over the noise of Children Meanwhile in the other room Jacob was trying to keep order around a large breakfast table, he chatted to some of the older children and helped the younger ones with the small problems they faced, all this while holding a bowl of his own porridge "gah who smashed something today" he exclaimed with a roll of his eyes, a small blonde girl looked up at him with glassy eyes, she looked as if she was ready to burst into tears "come on it's alright, just clean up when you're done" he consolled as he handed her his bowl "now eat your breakfast" he smiled as he retreived some cleaning supplies from the cupboard and set to work "if you don't mind me saying miss you look a little too young to adopt" the busy lady noted as she filed away a few papers "may I ask how I can help you" she repeated with a firm yet friendly voice

Alice blushed. She wasn't too old to adopt! Well, she looked young, not that her true age showed. "Um...No, I wasn't here to adopt. I came to visit a friend. Jacob?" She tried to look through to the other rooms, but her sight was blocked by corners and doors. Though she heard children and their cries. She giggled softly.

The woman laughed "ah so you're an early riser just like our Jacob" she smiled "please go right through, he may be a little busy at the moment, but i'm sure he'll make time for a pretty wee girl such as yourself" she complimented, her faint accent seeping through Jacob picked up a few bowls and stacked them in his arms "alright, get washed, get dressed" he said in a loud voice with a small laugh "otherwise i'll throw you in the showers myself" he grinned as he playfully shunted a child with his foot, the children dashed out of the room shrieking happily as they did so, Jacob sighed a deep sigh "alright" he muttered as he began picking up bowls left right and centre
