" Wait a minute you've gotten us in plenty of harm" Liz admited recalling all the times his OCD had almost gotten them killed " Like the time in the pyramid , and the time with the ship you told patty to hit it dead in the center after we had already hit it ,and then there was that time we were suppose to "
" Awe Kisses make everything better!" Patty said claping .
" No thats not going to help " Liz argued
" One ! " patty cheered
" No " Liz argued.
" Two ! " Patty giggled " come on Liz kisses make everything better! "
" ...This one time okay ones enough , I'm not doing this till christmas next time" Liz said caving at the last minute.
" Three!" patty said excited leaning closer to kid .
The twins kissed Death the kid on his cheeks at the same time.

Kid's cheeks lit up as he paused for a moment, stunned. As soon as the twins had pulled away, he put a hand up to each cheek. "L-Liz! Patty! Wh-what was that for?! You know I don't like b-being suprised! B-B-Besides, your lips are different sizes, so now..." Kid trailed off, his cheeks growing redder. He was super awkward and shy when it came to romance. He attempted to throw himself into double checking his report, too embarrassed to say anything else.

 »»Maka laughed softly at Soul's reply. "You actually got up before your alarm clock today. I was really surprised." She pointed up to the clock on the wall. Then, she patted his back. "You should keep this up, Soul! Anyway, I was just on my way out. Don't you lag too far behind, okay?" She shrugged on her jacket and buttoned it up, pulling the cuffs out and adjusting them so they looked neat. With a smile, she turned and started to leave.

Black Star had been trotting along happily when Tsubaki's words stopped him dead in his tracks. He hunched over like a person trying to sneak, but got caught. Slowly, he turned his head to look at her. "Paper?" he asked, giving her an answer she probably expected. He sighed and dropped his arms to the side, allowing them to go limp. He began walking again, his arms swaying. "Of course I worked on my paper!" He laughed nervously.

"Yeah, yeah", Soul yawned, waving his hand dismissively. Sluggishly he moved over to the table, where breakfast was waiting for him. The minute the aroma hit his nose, he was wide awake, and had no problem chowing down. After all, he was a teenage boy. He needed his carbs and proteins.
Finishing up fairly quickly, he stretched. Today was gonna be a good day. After all, they hadn't had any ho-
Soul froze. The report. That damn report. He hadn't done ANY of it. Sid-sensei's gonna kill me!!!
Throwing on some clothes, he sprinted out the door after Maka. "Oi, Maka! Lemme copy your paper!!"

"It's not goofing off; it's called socializing!" Soul retorted, clutching his head as he shook slightly with pain. "We're only young once. Maka was slightly offended at his last comment, it struck a chord with her. Soul was always so cool and popular, people even went so far as to say she didn't deserve him as a partner. Sometimes, she even felt the same. Her face contorted into a mixed expression of anger and hurt. "You're just saying that because you're a lazy JERK! We're a TEAM, Soul. I'm tired of being the only one that actually TRIES to make us stronger. It's like you don't even care at all!" She turned on her heel and began walking away from him, immediately regretting voicing her words, but her pride wouldn't allow her to apologize.

((I really need to rewatch Soul Eater. I know the story, and I know who everyone is, but I don't think I really have the finer details of the characters' personalities))
Soul sighed, knowing he had said something unnecessary. Rubbing the back of his neck, he followed behind Maka. They walked in silence for a little while before Soul spoke. "...You know I was talking about myself," he said, looking off to the side. "I'm no good at that sorta stuff, so for me to waste my time with my nose in a book would be useless." He put his hands behind his head and lifted his gaze to the sky. "But I think...if someone were in their element in that sorta thing...that it would be really cool..." He was of course talking about Maka, but he was too proud to directly say it.

Patty laughed cheerfully watching kids face get red.
" Well you could use a few suprises " Liz told kid as she watched him franticaly checking his paper to find somthing else to keep his mind off of what had just happend. She coulden't help but smile the laugh. " Someone needs to get out more to do more then just missions with those red cheeks " Liz poked teasing. " Anyways I'm sure everythings straight on that paper. "

Tsubaki knew it was far from the truth. " .oh good ...well then no problem. " She wounderd what to say next thinking she might be kicking herself later." Well ,I suppose we can get a paper done in fifteen minutes befor class. We better head to the library star sword..you don't want to get at least a D right for passing "

Maka sighed as well, her tense feeling leaving with Soul's words. She knew he didn't mean it the way it seemed, but she had insecurities and doubts about her ability to be a good partner to Soul. She felt it was her fault he had gotten that scar across his chest and it haunted her, making her wonder if it would have happened if he had been paired with anyone else. The young woman lowered her gaze as she walked. "It's useful to have book smarts, too, Soul. I mean, if you really need help, I can tutor you. I won't let you copy because then you won't learn from it." Stopping suddenly, she turned around and offered a small smile. "And you can teach me how to be more...social, I guess, in return. How about that?"
((I just finished it, so it's fresh in my head. :3 I almost regret waiting so long to watch it. ^^;; It's so good. ))

Grumbling, he kicked at the floor with his hands in his pockets as he thought of a way around showing up to class, or having to write the paper. He got an idea and grinned, turning to face his partner. "Or- maybe you could help me?" he asked, implying she would do it for him. "I'll pay you back somehow, Tsubaki, I promise!"

" I planed on helping you write the paper. " Tsubaki admited her true intentions. She diden't want to see black star fail even if he was the reason for his own failing. "We have to get to the library to write your paper black star. I'm not going to write your paper for you ,but as your partner ,I'll help"

((I watched it online two years ago, and then watched the first 25 episodes again when I bought them last year (I didn't buy the second half because I hated the second half of the series) It is a really good series))
Soul looked at her as he considered her offer. Then, scratching the back of his head, he sighed. Stepping forward, he took her hand, and grinned. "Ah, what the heck. I'm in".
Death the Kid fumbled with the sheets of paper, before looking up at Liz. "I-I get out!" he complained, embarrassed. He cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "Part of being a shinigami is maintaining a public image. I must attend soiree's and mingle with the other heads of state."

" Get out and party ! " Patty shouted cheerfully hopping up atop her desk. She twirled about for a moment giggeling and falling back down into her seat.
" pattys right soiree's are like rich people acting supperior well eating wine and cheese. Trying to out due the other" Liz pointed out " We are teenagers ..in other words we were ment to party." She said with a sigh recalling the good old days when the ran amuck on the streets and the occasional party came her's and patty's way. " I miss the raves those are the best. Glow sticks ...What ,I woulden't give for a glow stick. "
Patty nodded in agreement " and noisy base!"
" We diden't mingel with heads of state ,but we sure did have some fun. Your pop's maintains a public image well still having fun.....Wait a minute how can some one maintain a public image without showing his face?" Liz said puzzled." Hey kid are you going to have to hide your face to ? "

Kid blinked. "Of course." Then a sick look passed over him. "Someone with such an assymetrical face as mine doesn't deserve to show his face in public..." Clearing his throat, he tried to change the subject before a panic attack came on. "A rave?" He brought a hand to his chin, deep in thought. "What does a 'rave' entitle? Perhaps I should investigate this matter further..."
