Hey, everyone! I'm 19 (going on 20 in the fall) and I don't really play any instruments. I bought an electric guitar when I was younger but never got the hang of it. This year I started learning piano thanks to my best friend who has been playing piano her whole life. I've always loved piano and hope to get good with it someday. I'm lucky to have long fingers to play piano (from thumb to pinky, I can reach 11 keys!).

I grew up listening to all sorts of music but I really loved listening to Steve Tyrel as well as the Manhatten Transfer. Several years ago, I came across a jazz radio station known as Kjazz which plays some of the greatest music I had ever heard. I've listened to it constantly ever since. I love all the jazz greats and I love all forms of older and some newer jazz.

I don't listen to all that much else besides jazz and lots of japanese pop, rock and anime music. I love anime, I love japan (though I've yet to go there), I LIVE for video games and know tons about them, I'm a big fan of new technology and I love the internet and live to be on it. xd

I also live to attend Anime Expo! I live in orange county where it's at and it's the highlight of my year. I'm going this year and it's less than a month away so it's on my mind and I had to mention it. That's enough out of me. Nice to meet everyone!!!

Hi all. I'm a music ed. major and just finished my 3rd year of college. I went to Berklee for 2 years, and I'm finishing up my degree now at a state college. Been playing Alto Sax for 11 years now, and jazz for 10 of them. I also double on soprano, tenor, flute, and clarinet, along with whatever I picked up in my methods class.

Jazz = heart , especially Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Buddy Rich, Charles Mingus, and Yoko Kanno~! (since this is an anime board, after all)
