"Oh... I'm sorry to hear..." she said sadly, and then she silently watched the rest of the movie with everyone. She had decided that these would be her first friends, and she couldn't wait to make more.

Eli took her hand and pressed it to his chest. It was unnaturally warm, like he had a small fire inside him. Just warm enough to be comforting but not hot enough to be uncomfortable. "I'm part dragoon. Humanoid dragon, draconic human, dragon men... Whatever you want to call it. Bottom line is its the halfway point between a human and a dragon." He leaned in even closer so she could barely feel his lips lightly brush her ear as he whispered "and you are gorgeous..." and it was true.

Linota felt comfortable when she had touched his chest. It was warm and something that she had never had the chance to feel before. Deep inside, her vampiric instincts wanted the warmth of the blood. But she knew that it was too precious for herself. Her eyes went wide and her breath fleeted from her body when Linota felt the soft touch of his lips against her ear. His whisper cascaded her in a warmth she hadn't experience before. Her hand was still pressed to his chest, and as sank deeper into the couch, she held on to so she wouldn't drown in fluff.

Eli kissed her cheek then slid an arm around her waist and gently scooped her into his lap. "Can't have you disappearing on me. We just met." He hugged her softly before leaning the both of them back into the reclining portion of the couch. He hadn't even noticed the show was over, heck, he had forgotten they were supposed to be watching a movie.
