Raiyl wandered about the streets. She checked her pockets for some gold. Her hunger was really driving her insane.
"Ten gold? Is that all that's left?" She wasn't happy at all. "That's not even enough for a full course meal and a good sleep at an inn!"
She sighed and continued, occasionally asking strangers if they had seen some knights pass by. For some reason, every time she asked, they would look horrified and most of them ran as fast as they could in the opposite direction. Had she said anything wrong? When she passed a dark alley, overshadowed by the two towering buildings in between, she froze. Two girls and a tall man were surrounded by some hideous looking creatures.
"Mauthe Doogs... here?" She gasped in amazement. She had only faced the foul beasts once before and that was only one. Here, there was a whole pack, and guessing from the black blood drippping from the blue-haired girl's rapier, they were angered at the slaughter of one of their own.
"I come! Face me, hell-beasts!" She bellowed and drew the iron sword. It was a heavy weapon and not particularly of her liking, but it was the only thing standing in between these things and her for now.
One Mauthe Daug leapt to attack immmediately, and Raiyl leapt quickly out of it's way. It's dangerous fangs now behind her, she took the chance to strike and nicked it's flesh on it's back - not a fatal blow.
"Curses! Run now while they're destracted! she screamed at the other people."RUN!"

Ronald cursed himself for manipulating the young mage and leaving her in an instant. In Grado he stormed through the towns and walked into the castle. He quickly cut down any soldiers in his way as he headed for Isabelle and the throne room. He remebered that his Grandmother was the Flourspar of Grado's army during the war of the stones and that she was manipulated by the Demon King, Fomortiis, parading around as Lyon and Vigarde and she died thanks to her loyalty. Having being near the Demo nKing must have corrupted Selena's blood because Ronald knew that his dark emotions must have been caused by something evil. He stormed past the gaurds and into the throne room. ISABELLE!!!!He yelled.
(Who is Isabelle? Is it Slime Knight?)

((Nobody just yet. After she's taken, I'll start to allow players to create second characters. Isabelle can be the first second character to be taken if she's not taken first by a newcomer.))
This time Serenity attemped to listen. She wasn't quite sure where she could run, as the group was practically surrounded by the monsters. She looked around the entire area, and spotted an empty barrel. If she could not run far, the least she could do was hide, and that was exactly what she did. When she saw an opening between to Mauthe Doogs, she darted forward with a great burst of speed, quickly striking one with her rapier, then jumping over the other and landing in the barrel.
Then her mind hatched an idea. While she was in the barrel, she tipped it over on its side, climbed out, turned it upside down, and placed t over her. She could see what was going on through a hole in the side, and if things got worse, she could crawl away, looking somewhat inconspicuous with the barrel on top of her.

Amber moved swiftly the new girl had left herself open to attack, and her cadet dog tags hung out of her tunic. Moving, Amber leapt and brought her sword down on the beasts neck, severing head from body in one fouls swipe.
Amber reposited and parryed one of the Mauthe Dog's fangs by slapping it on the snout with the flat of her blade, dazing it she performed a counter thrust and ran her sword through the beast's heart, ripping her blade free she turned back to the main fight.
"civilians please vacate the area the Knights of Renais will handle the situation."
Amber said telling the one with the iron blade to leave before she got seriously injured.

((I'll be Isabelle, if that's okay. Trust me, I am evil enough to play the villian! Expect a profile soon, but I unfortunately don't have the time right now.)) Jenna stared at the ground after hearing Julia's description. Off the top of her head, she couldn't give an answer. Perhaps it was because there wasn't a correct answer for her to give. She was at a loss for words, she looked for an alternative answer that met the criteria, "I... don't know. I trust everyone. Nobody plays with me... except one person. He's not around anymore, though..." She avoided Julia's eyes.

Ronald saw the Empress sitting onb the throne. It looked like she was thinking. Empress Isabelle. Ever since I have joined this Army as a General, I noticed that Jehanna has become more of a slave camp instead of a regular country. You told me that if I joined, the war would not affect Jehanna. And also, I met a Renaisian girl and something told me I should've taken the bracelet she had and when I escaped back to jehanna, I met a girl and another feeling told me that she had talent enough to be an imperial general. Would you have anything to do with this? He was furious. He couldve stayed in Jehanna helping Thirrin trainn but instead he left her with only a guiding ring and a bolting spell book.

Civillian? Is that what that girl had just called her? Surely she should have noticed from her tanned skin and tribal dress that Raiyl wasn't from here? She wasn't clear on the knights of Renais or their rules.
"I am Raiyl, of the Tienzhim tribe! I am the Hunter of the Moon from Sacrae! AND NO FOUL FIEND WHO PASSES MY BLADE SHALL LIVE!"she screamed, and as another Daug leapt to attack, she struck its skull with a dull thud, and the creature lay motionless on the ground.
Another Daug met the same fate as she walked closer to the other people. She gasped for breath as she saw even more approach. Where are they coming from? They come like an endless tide! One prowled close to an upturned barrel. Saliva dripped from it’s fangs as it sniffed around for prey, near the barrel’s bottom – that was moving? Raiyl noticed the delicate shoes of the blue-haired girl as the barrel walked across the alley. She had to be warned!
”Erm…you, blue-hair… err, rapier wielder! Beware!”She hoped she had alerted her in time and raced forward to help her. Two Doogs stood in the way.
She quickly dispatched the first with a quick stab in it’s disgusting heart. She was rewarded with a splatter of the thing’s blood across her face. She spun the blade around and it locked with the other Daug’s fangs. With a huge amount of effort, she lifted the creature up high and threw it to the ground with as much force as she could muster. It was extremely tiring and took more energy than she had thought. But she couldn’t just flee now with all these people left to fend for themselves… retrieving her blade, Raiyl rushed to help the girl who was stuck in the barrel.

((I will be puppeting Isabelle until Saturnos sends me a profile for him. I don't want z-wack to be stuck.))
Isabelle looked up at her unexpected visitor. Well, it was not completely unexpected, but she did not think Ronald would come and complain this early.
"My dear Ronald," she said, You got that feeling because you found the item I asked you to bring me. The Lunar Brace is a sacred treasure of the Kingdom of Renais. Since she would be the only person wearing it, the 'girl' you are talking about must be the Princess of Renais. You should have taken her bracelet. And I am quite surprised you got into the castle alone. However, you still failed your mission. I'll give you one more chance... but this time you must kill the Princess. I'm afraid she could become a problem if we let her live. And if you fail this time, you can forget any agreement we made about Jehanna."
Of course Isabelle was lying. She had briefly mentioned to Ronald to get the Lunar Brace, but she knew that he was never in the castle. She was also the one trying to control him, and she would have made him a mind salve if not for the fact that there was something inside of his sould that prevented her from doing so.
Meanwhile....
They had killed all but one of the Mauthe Doogs. However, that last one was larger and fiercer than the others. He must have been there leader, and now he was enraged that these people had killed his pack. Serenity grew scared- the Doog was approaching her barrel. But then whateever force that caused her to attack earlier kicked in again. She elegantly lept up from the barrel and charged the beast. She zig-zagged her rapier all over, striking the Doog many times, but this one was tougher than his underlings. He had been hit with a critical blow, yet was still standing, slowly making his way towards Serenity...

Ronald wanted to leave Grado's army right away but his better judgement and his love for the safety of his kingdom got over him. His odd bloodline allowed him to resist part of Isabelle's mind control. He had Selena's easily manipulated blood on his mothers side, but his fathers side had Ismaire's blood. His Great-Great-Grandmother died while protecting the sacred stone so her strong resistance allowed him to avoid many of Isabelles "tricks". He knew what he had to do so he warped back to Jehanna behind Thirrin.

Amber approached the pack leader's flank, impressed by the girl's swordmanship, she also knew it wasn't going to be enough.
Heaving her blade into the air she leapt upwards and caught the blade by the hilt, as she fell she spun and lashed out with all her strength, catching the Mauthe Doog unawares from behind, the blade slashed through the beast's hide and tore through its muscles and finally cut through its eintesteines. Amber leapt backward performing a back hand spring and landed on her feet ready for its attack.
Oddly it didn't even look at her; its life was fading away but it wasn't dead and it was to close to the girl for Amber to attack it without potentially harming the girl.
"Move aside, you're to close I can't attack." Amber shouted as she readyed herself for another assault, coiling the muscles in her legs she waited like a crouching tiger, for the girl to move.

"Hey! You...knight! Heh..duck!" The knight didn't seem to hear Raiyl's warning, and she had to leap over her shoulders to have a chance to aim.
This is insane, she thought, as she forced herself around the knight's armour plated form. She only had this chance, this chance or the blue-haired girl could be in incredible danger. Without another thought, Raiyl threw her blade at the foul pack leader. It landed at her exact target, and was embedded into the Daug's forehead. The Daug growled, until it's hind legs buckled and it collapsed. Raiyl neatly landed back onto the ground but exhaustion made her collapse - right on top of the blue-haired girl. The beautiful and precious maroon leather scabbard tied to her back flew across the alley, and landed at the knight's feet. The silver wolf head in the centre shimmered as it fell
"Tienlongzhim...sca..bbard...must..find...Tienlongzh..." And with that, she fainted.

Amber picked up the sheath and the girl's blade, and walked over to her. Amber looked at the girl with the rapier
"May I ask for your assistance?" Amber asked and held out the sword and sheath.
Amber lay both on the ground as she hoisted the fallen girl onto her shoulders.
"I'm taking this girl to the barracks of the Renais knights, if you would please come with me. I would like to reward you for your assitance." Amber said and started off in the direction of the castle of Renais.
"Name's Amber whats your's?" Amber asked over her shoulder

Thirrin was beginning to panic. She was 14 years old, and had been granted leadership of almost a whole army. What was she meant to do? Thirrin had never been in a battle before, let alone commanded an army. And she definitely wasn't good at keeping a cool head in a dire situation. Surely, giving her command of an army was a big mistake. And if she was to lead the army, she would have to stay in one place. Which she hated. It came back to why she left her home before-she wanted to experience more of the world, which she couldn't do cooped up in a small town or even cooped up in a large palace. Her original ideas came back to her. She was to run away. Thirrin received the bolting spell book from the treasury, as Ron had requested, and went up to her room. Her quarters in the palace were huge; probably bigger than her whole house back in her home town. But despite its size the room felt...empty, and cold. It could never feel like a home. She picked up the original piece of cloth she had used to wrap up her belongings. She kept her old fire spell book with her, though she knew there was little more she could learn from it, and then packed her precious fimbullttevr and bolting tomes too. Her vulneraries were still in good condition, as was her travelling cloak. With what she had learned from Ron she would have no problem sneaking past the palace guards unseen. Suddenly she remembered-she had almost forgotten her guiding ring. Thirrin had decided that she was to become a sage, and remembered to grab the ring as she left. Sneaking past the palace guards, Thirrin had no doubt that this journey she wouldn't have to worry. She had all the skills to look after herself. But where she was going...even Thirrin herself didn't know that. ((It's long for me, I know. Sorry for making you read through all of that. sweatdrop ))

Ronald appeare dright in front of Thirrin. He knew she was going to run away. He didn't blame her. If she knew he was a Grado general, she definitley would run away.
Going somewhere Thirrin? Isabelle now had almost complete control over him. So. I give you the highest ranked spot in all of Jehanna besides ruler and I give you a bolting book, a fimbulvetr book, and a guiding ring and you are going to repay me by leaving? Ronalds eyes changed from crystal blue to Blood red. I don't think so...
Ronald cast Fimbulvetr at the red haired mage.

Before she could explain why she had left, Ron cast fimbulvetr at Thirrin. She nearly collapsed, but then quickly grabbed her fimbulvetr and cast it back at him, hoping to do enough damage for him to leave. She didn't get a chance to grab a vulnerary from her pack before everything went dark.
