Embyr smiled in greeting to Ai, who had walked over as the match ups appeared. Embyr looked at them, glancing over names quickly. When Kaito and Ai said goodbye, she waved and replied "See you in there~ Good luck! And Kaito, you better stay on your toes. I've got a few new tricks up my sleeve~" She winked, then released Cynder. "So... I'm up against Kaito. Good. I've been waiting for a good battle! You ready Cynder?" The Blaziken spat fire into the air and growled, her eyes burning with enthusiasm. Embyr smirked, and said "Well, then let's go." The two turned and walked in the direction of the stadium, her heart racing in anticipation.

(inserting epic battle music... sorry, can't resist XD) "I see, we have to face that girl..." said Macky, "so her name is Ai..." The gracidea began to glow again, then Macky felt that there's something unusual about her and the boy next to her. It was a chill similar to that of when he saw Embyr and Emi outside the tower. He looked over to Brian, seeing as he's getting jitters already, excited, or stressed.Brian was intimidated. He has to face that man, Medioc, but comfortably, he thought "at least I don't think he has an ice type to bring me down..." His heart raced, Lagan took him by the back collar and carried him down, "Hey! put me down!" he said, and he was placed by his charizard along with the other trainers

Ai walked up to the one called, Macky. "Hi, I see we're against each other. I wish you luck." Ai said, then turned to talk into the arena, showing hardly any emotion what so ever, she felt like she would do well, but didn't question what might happen.

Kaito continued walking, as he entered the arena, he'd just realized how large it was, he then waited for Embyr to go to the other side of their battling field. He knew he shouldn't underestimate her, she looked stronger, but that wouldn't stop him from doing his absolute best.

Macky returned it with a smile "Best of luck to you too, Ai." He waved over at Brian, then entered the arena. Knowing that his only family was there to watch him, he had nothing to fear. He called back Andreas into his pokeball. "here we go, everyone." he said

Ai walked to her half of the battle field, and reached for one of the Pokeballs, levitating by her side. She refused to send her Pokemon out until her opponent did, as, she levitated herself in a meditation position and waited for Macky to make his move.

"we have to put on a good show." said Macky, he took out one of his pokeballs, and thought "I'll begin with you, Ilia."
He tossed it forward and out came a sunflora, as bubbly and jolly as can be. "Let's give it all we've got, Ilia!"

Ai carefully observed the Sunflora, looking at it's aura, and predicting it's moves. Ai launched one of the Pokeballs, now rotating around her, "Please, assist me, Frost." a Froslass was soon sent out of the Pokeball, with an icy cold glare in her eye, it was quite obvious Frost was ready. "Frost, please, use an Ice Beam, then send a Shadow Ball directly behind it." she spoke telepathically to the Pokemon, who quickly obeyed her orders, a dazzling beam of ice was shot directly towards the Sunflora, then was soon to be impacted by the Shadow Ball, following close behind.

"Ilia! protect! quickly!" yelled Macky, anticipating the coming pressure from the shadow ball and ice beam. Ilia raised its leaves and a green sphere formed around it. After defending, Macky gave out his orders, "Sunny Day," he said first, and the Sunflora opened the skies and the sun shone through. "Now, return with a petal dance!" The sunflora spun around as a tornado of flower petals ravaged its way toward the Frosslass

Embyr walked to the battle field, trailed by Cynder. She took her position opposite of Kaito, and smiled. "Shall we begin? I'm quite eager to fight you." Cynder growled, then returned, knowing she probably wouldn't be first out. Embyr's hand hovered near her poke'balls, and she began to finger each one, waiting for Kaito to make his move. Her heart was beating quickly, and her eyes were glowing. If she could read his pokemon, she's have an advantage. "But, he's psychic. We should cancel each other out anyways. Well, this will be interesting..." Her thoughts were racing, each one a new idea. Her strategy would have to be very adaptable, she would have to be ready to react at any moment.

"Frost, would you turn invisible for a second, and move behind it???" The Froslass nodded, and turned completely transparent, she slowly moved her way to behind the Sunflora, "Frost, use a beautiful Hail, to up your moves, then a Double Team, and Ice Beam, keep yourself invisible until directly before the attack." The Froslass did as directed, she used Hail, and dazzling snow started to fall, then harder, more compacted hail. After that, she obeyed, and used Double Team, in doing so, twirling around, and then having several copies of herself moving to surround the Sunflora, then each shot one beam of Ice, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible upon the Sunflora.

The petal dance began its second wave, intercepting the combinations of the ice beams and hail, but in the aftermath, Ilia swooned around, dizzy from the dance. "Uh oh..." thought Macky, "I gotta think of something quick..."
"Ilia! can you hear me?" he said, "ingrain!" the Sunflora responded, roots spread all across the stadium, covering the floor, and Ilia was planted in place. "now, grasswhistle..." said Macky.
Ilia placed her leaf in her mouth in order to play the grasswhistle, but cut herself in the process. "oh no..." said Macky, "she's still confused..." She took up energy from her roots to heal the wound, but alas, she was still lost in confusion.

"Frost, use the confusion to an advantage, set up full Spikes by it's feet, then take control of that Hail, and try a charged Ice Beam." Once again, the Froslass responded, and faster than last time, from the boost from the Hail, she quickly set up Spikes around the Sunflora's feet, then used a powered Ice Beam. The beam of ice was much larger this time, as Frost charged it, it slowly became larger, and larger, pulling in the hail, to energize it, once fully charged, it was about five times the size of Frost, then, she shot it at the Sunflora, in a dazzling beam of white, silver, and blue.

"Ilia, please, Solarbeam..." Ilia snapped out of confusion, and used the combination of the reflected light from the hail to her advantage, but the attack came out late. The solarbeam made contact with the ice beam and exploded directly in front of her. The dust clears, Ilia was on the floor, struggling to get up, taking energy through her roots.

"Frost, no need to do much more damage, do a simple attack, and finish it off." Frost then moved quickly towards the Sunflora, hovering across the floor, as if skating on ice, she approached the Sunflora, and blew freezing air at it.
