Sakura was so surprsied when he said that he too was from her hometown. Was Valerick recruiting only from there. Maybe their hometown was where all of this was centralized on. That could be the only possibility. As she began to notice Nathan look behind his shoulder, Sakura glanced over her own as well. Children. They look so . . . Tired and worn out. Sakura returned her glance back to in front of her. There was no way she could look back at them. She knew that she couldn't help them and just looking at them made her hurt inside. What did they want? "Hmm. I see. That is a bit interesting, but what does it mean. If anything of course." Sakura looked up and down the streets as they walked. Now she just wanted to get back inside. Seeing what few people there were on the streets just worried her.

The children continued to follow the two of them for a little while longer, but finally, another city resident took them to the side and away from the two of them. As they continued down the road, off to their left would be a building with a sign that had a sun on it. On the sign was written 'We See The Sky, And Bring Back Life'. Next to the door was a much smaller sign that said 'Surface Scavengers Wanted, Hiring Suicidal Maniacs'.

"Well... That clerks note was not kidding... They must really think its that bad up there, but no sense in hanging around." Nathan said cheerfully walking up to the door with the aforementioned sign. Bet they don't see a lot of business with this type of advertising, Nathan though to him self as he pushed his way through an oddly stubborn door. The place inside was practically empty. What lined the shelves was what would be considered useless junk back where they were from, but this was not their world after all

Sakura was a bit frightened just at the sight of the picture, but she had to hold it out. She walked into the building with Nathan and looked around the building for a bit. "Wow. How can they think this stuff was actually worth scavenging." As she continued to look at the items, she began to understand a little bit. All the items were something that a collapsing society would probably need. Batteries, small utensils, tools, scrap electronics and metal.

As the two of them move about in the main room, a pair of people wearing masks and a breathing set over their mouth comes into the room. One of the two stop and looks at Nathan intently before taking off the breather. "Now what the hell do you want!?" The voice is that of a girls. She reaches up and removes the rest of the mask, revealing that it is indeed Rin from before. "Why are you here? Didn't you give me enough trouble back at the town entrance. Now what are you going to try and ruin?" The woman placed her hands on her hips and stood staring at Nathan, though her stare was almost an evil glare. The person with her laughed and through the breather, it was very muffled. He removed both his breather and mask and looked at the two that entered their place of business. "Excuse her. She tends to come her to work during her free time. My name is Cedric. How may I be of assistance?" The man looks to be pretty old but his smile is almost just as bright as that of any other person. Rin now appears to be even more aggravated.

"Good to see that your charming demeanor has not changed from when we first met." Nathan commented at the imposter of Rin, though imposter was a harsh word to be using in the situation but, it was the only one that would fit. The man introduced him self as Cedric and time had not been so kind to him, or the world was not kind to him. Either way it showed.
This man Cedirc was a lot kinder than 'Rin' so Nathan figured he could be fairly forthcoming with him, although not all the way. "Were looking for some breathers to go surface side basically. And you would not happen to know anyway to treat prolonged exposure to the surface air would you?" Nathan hoped that it would come easy but, when ever in life did things come easy

Sakura just stood to the side and waited as Nathan asked the questions. She was actually kind of glad that he was asking all of the questions instead of her. As Nathan was talking, Sakura wandered around the room and waited for the answer. She was actually very interested in the antidote for the gas exposure. She didn't like seeing the poor girl in such a state. It made her feel terrible. Especially since she couldn't do anything about it.

Cedric laughs a bit and then looks both of them over. "Well. You did read the sign right. Looking for Homicidal Maniacs. If you are really wanting to go to the surface, then you can come with us in our group. As for something to handle prolonged exposure to the chemical up there, well." Cedric walks off and opens up a cabinet behind the counter. He looks around for a few moments in the counter before coming back to them. "Well. We don't have any right now, but we do have this." Cedric hands Nathan a small bottle. The bottle is just simply labeled anti-chem. "This shall at least delay the severity of the gas for the time being, delaying the severe effects that the chemicals have on the body. Why, is someone sick from it. And if that's the case, how did you get up there without us knowing?" Cedric was a bit interested, but then he shook his head and sighed. "You know what. Nevermind. I don't want to know. Just tell me if you are willing to join us or not. If so, then I will gladly help ya get to the surface, but be ready to help us with something as well." Cedric smiled with that last bit and continued to wait for a response.

Nathan chuckled at Cedric's changing of the sign. It read suicidal and he changed it to homicidal maniacs but he was more focused on the bottle to really make any witty remarks to the mans statement. If delaying is the best we got we'll just need to make do with that. Nathan looked at Sakura gesturing for her to take the bottle.
Nathan offered a small almost twisted smile at Cedric's withdraw of his inquiry of why he needed the anti-chem bottle. It was best that he did not ask or else Nathan would be forced to come up with some very off ended lie that he would probably pick up instantly. "Well I don't really have much of a choice, You've helped me already so I've gota repay me end of the bargain. When are you going up again," Nathan asked putting his verbal acceptance to Cedric's deal

Sakura nods to Nathan and reaches forward for the small vial. "Nathan. Do you want me to go with you or do you want me to watch over Elissa." She exactly doesn't want to go up there, just from what she heard from the two of them and from Cedric, it didn't sound like a very pleasant place to be. Her face looked between a mix of fear, anxiety, and confusion. She put the vial in a small bag that is strapped over her shoulder and then waits for Nathan's suggestion.

When Sakura takes the vial, Cedric smiles a little bit and then looks back at Nathan. "Well. If you are willing and you are actually crazy enough, I will gladly take you up there right now. We just unloaded our last bit of cargo and were preparing to head back up again when you arrived." Cedric laughed a little bit and then began to strap his gear back and sealed it all tight. He raised the breather to his mouth and took a few breaths through it. "Good. It works." The voice comes through a bit muffled, having to pass through the breather, but otherwise works. He hands a breather and a mask to Nathan. The mask had an area where goggles were built in to allow vision without any obscuration. "Get this gear strapped on, and then lets get going. And as for you young lady, if you want to come along, you can ask Rin for another set of gear." Cedric walks to the back of the building, signalling people to follow him.

Taking a glance over at Sakura Emile firmly tells her, "Its your decision on what you want to do. Yes I'd like you to give her the bottle but what you do from there is your call," Nathan looked back over towards Cedric and took the mask and began to put it on making sure it fit tightly and sealed properly after doing a few checks. As Cedric began to make his way to the rear of the building Emile followed curious of what Cedric would be having him do and prayed that they did not run across the crystals the girl Elissa was looking for or else things would probably get real ugly

Sakura nodded. "Well then. I will go back to the hotel and administer the medicine to Elissa. Stay safe up there, okay. I don't know what's up there, but from what I have heard from Elissa, it doesn't sound good at all." Sakura waved her hand at Nathan as she walked out of the small building and left towards the hotel.

Cedric led Nathan through the back hallways of the building until finally, they came up to a hatchway. He opened up the hatch and climbed the ladder to go up through it. "Hmm. Looks like the air is a bit cleaner than normal. Come on kid. If you stray too far behind, I'll leave you behind." Cedric began to make his way down the small alleyway, Rin following immediately behind him after climbing the ladder as well.
"Also, remember to keep your head down. We don't know if the City has installed any new security in the area. If they have, then we are in for a lot of trouble Cedric." Rin looked around as they continued on. No one hear was equipped with any kind of weapons. They never were. It was unnecessary and unhelpful. All of the city's weapons were made with an alloy that made them impervious to small arms fire. So using it in the first place was pointless.
"I know Rin. I am the one who set up the routine." Cedric looked out into the roadway and looked around. The road seemed pretty well clear but you couldn't be too sure. A few cameras were up, but several of them were dummies. Cedric could tell because there lights were off. However, they could possibly come on at any time. If any of the cameras in the area noticed someone, the rest of the cameras in the area would blink on in a heartbeat, as well as the defenses.

Following along diligently keeping in sync the best he could with the leaders Nathan could not help but to wonder. "So.. they are looking for the humans that are left... Or did they, who ever they are, just drive the humans off the surface," he mainly directed this to Rin who was closer in proximity than Cedric who was leading the group. Nathan was not too particularly concerned about the security systems, he could easily maneuver in to the cameras blinds spot. I wonder why they just don't peg the security systems with firearms... Na they probably already tried that. I'll just go with the flow.
