well you are using a gif which is a totally different topic. You would need to remove the white background on the image by opening a new image like stated in the first tutorial here so that its transparent then open up the image of the girl and select her with the square tool and then use the wand tool to unselect (subtract) the white background Copy only the girl then paste it onto the new.

Since you are talking about putting a gif with her you would need every little seperate motion and you would have to put them back together one image on each layer its honestly too much work you are better off just putting a plain one next to her honestly
