We'll all be amazing!" She almost shouted, but clasped her mouth shut at last second. That could've been dangerous... she sighed.
"Hope if you don't mind asking me about your weapons..." she said, feeling embarrassed about asking - what she assumed to be - a stupid question. "I'm not really sure how my memory is right now." Get hurt or fall down... ✶✶I want to keep singing

A lofty, brilliant sign✶✶ Even if I get lost or cry with grief... As Rai pulled out her weapons, Touya' s eyes became larger - to be honest, she had never seen weapons like those before. They did look a bit strange, but it was made them all the more wonderful. It's weird how some weapons match their owners... she thought. Maybe she had chosen them for that reason?
"Those look like they could kill a whole flock of harpies with a single hit... or am I exaggerating?" she laughed at the end, suddenly realizing her question. Don't most weapons do..? she asked herself. Get hurt or fall down... ✶✶I want to keep singing

Head of Ares Cabin  When he got an eyeful of Maya's weapons,he was perplexed at their name and even more so at their appearance.He agreed with Touya,though;they looked extremely effective. "A knife and slingshot against those?" he asked Raizya."Isn't that a bit unfair?" He turned to the side to hide his own weapons from their view;he felt awkward to show them after the two girls had done so.Besides,his rapier and gladiuses seemed generic in comparison. Knew I should have gotten something more at the forge.

She understood his concern, though she didn't understand why he was concerned about the two of them fighting; they didn't like the arena, and as far as she was concerned, they got along just fine.
"You do have a point..." Touya said to the head of Ares. "Though sometimes, if someone has feeble weapons but phenomenal skill and reflexes, that can beat anything." Wow, I must sound like an 80 year-old idealist! she thought, thinking of everything stupid she had said to this point. Extremely awkward tendencies are indeed extremely awkward.
"And besides, don't forget our real enemies..." she added, watching some bushes without turning her head. Did it just move...? Get hurt or fall down... ✶✶I want to keep singing

Head of Ares Cabin "Ohhhh.....I see." Until then,Typhonus had not been clear on whether they had planned of fighting with or against each other.Now he understood,but felt very awkward as a result. He nodded supportedly at Touya when he heard her answer;after all,the weapon didn't matter,it was person who wielded it that did.And of course,there were real threats to worry about."And besides,I,for example,probably wouldn't last a minute against either of you two,unless I had the aid of another person."

Head of Ares Cabin Typhonus gave an embarassed laugh."I'll take you guys' word for it,I guess I'm just unsure about myself.My dad would be ashamed." Noticing Touya and Raizya's eyes,he looked over to the bush. Ah crap,there's probably something waiting for us."Is there anything in that bush that I can't see?" he asked,taking out one of his gladiuses. Drawing weapons was almost instinct at times,which really didn't fit his personality.It was probably because his father is Ares,who fights whenever he sees necessary.

"Oh, nothing," She tried her best to seem calm and relaxed. Or at least, nothing yet... I could just be paranoid.
Though she gave up those words after she noticed Rai's and Typhonus' expressions. She pulled out her slingshot, hoping the other were drawing weapons as well.
"You guys should be prepared to move," Touya muttered, pulling a steel ball from her pouch. She was ready, aim almost set...
Before she released her shot, a black spike flew in the air an inch distance from her head. It stuck to a tree and the creature itself pounced toward them.
Touya jumped away, staring at the creature. "Is that... a manticore?"Get hurt or fall down... ✶✶I want to keep singing

Immediantly, she called for a spell to deflect attacks that would result in severe injures to the three demi-gods. She couldn't be sure how long it would hold up, but it should help. She bit her, trying to think of any possible weakness of this monster. She just felt so stupid - all those times where her father proclaimed her intelligence all seemed to be lies just to make her feel better. Touya may not have been as smart as she believed...
She lost focus for a moment, but she returned back to the problem after the manticore's attack on her had been blocked by Rai's magic. The manticore still kept attacking all three campers; if Touya really did remember the monster's weakness, it would have to be fast. Think, think, think... Get hurt or fall down... ✶✶I want to keep singing

DAUGHTER OF HECATE Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble While Touya thought, Rai tried hacking at the beast. Her attacks were quick, but lacking in power. With hellhounds it didn't matter, but with a larger monster, like a manticore, the difference was obvious. She was strong, sure, but not manticore-strong. "I am..doing...nothing..to it.
