Mari was VERY confused. "What's going on?" she asked.
The mother smirked. "You brought us back our baby girl." she said evily. "too bad she has to die on your account."

"nothing you need to know Mari...." Shadow says calmly still glaring at their parents.
"SHE WONT DIE TONIGHT, YOU WILL!!!" screams Shane.
while Shane was screaming at his parents Shadow had crept around behind the mother and father and threw her 2 sharpest ninja stars at the bases of their their necks and waited for them to drop.

Mari was starting to cry. She never liked it when her brother was upset, and she was confused. "brother.... ppppllllleeaasssseee tell me what's going on." She then felt the grip on her neck loosen and then go away completely. She ran towards her brother with tears in her eyes, and squeezed him around the waist.,

Shane hugs his little sister in a death grip and starts checking her over making sure wasnt hurt anywhere else..
Shadow just stands back watching the brother sister moment for a second before moving the bodies out of site.

Mari looks up at him. "Why did they try to hurt me?" she asked still crying.

Shane looks sadly at his sister and says "...now is not the time to tell you.." and motioned to Shadow to follow.
Shadow walked up nextto Mari and wrapped a comforting arm around her shoulder and asked softly ".. how ya holdin up girly..?" and searched Mari's face with her eyes.
Shane stopped for a second to try and hear Mari's answer.

Mari didn't answer, but went to get her horse. She mounted and headed back for the academy.

Shadow and Shane silently got on their horses and started back to the school

Mari was once again ahead of them, and when she got to the academy she went straight to her room locking her door.

they followed Mari till she got to her dorm. when she slamed her door Shane tried to go talk to her but was stopped by Shadow. Shadow wrapped her arm around Shane and led him to his dorm and when they got there she said "leave her alone for a little while let her come to us for any questions. she just needs time to think right now." she hugs Shane and walks across the hall and before she shuts the door Shane calls out to her "Thanks..."
she gives him a nod before shutting her door completely.

Mari stayed in her room for a long time and never once unlocked the door. She had soo many questions, but feared that none of them would be answered.

after a day of neither Shane or Mari coming out of their rooms Shadow decides to do some thing about it...
She leaves her room making sure to be quiet. She stops by Shanes dorm to make sure he's still there and could hear the tv so continued on to
Mari's. Shadow knocks on the door and waits for some kind of response.

Mari doesn't answer. She was still asleep, and was not going to wake up.

when she doesnt get an answer she turns back to Shanes dorm and walks straight in and past him to the connecting door before she feels hand grasping the back of her shirt. She spins around seeing Shane inches from her and takes a step back asking "what?"
Shane gives her a look then steps back and gestures to his room saying "u dont know how to knock..?"
"I do but thats no fun, u should know that by know." replies shadow with a smirk.
Shadow turns back to the connecting door and opens it stepping through and closing it. all the while ignoring thr stare on her back from Shane.

Mari was laying on her bed unconscious. She was very tired and didn't feel very well.
