Zanezabar looked at the vampire, a bit uneasy with how he spoke. The pauses between words made him worried. Did he smell bad or something? The giggles got his mind off the scent though, thank god for that. He didn't feel very normal speaking of his own scent, or anyone's scent for that matter. Wow. That was quite a fun name to say... Still though, the speaking pattern of Lyca confused Zane. Why did he pause so often? Slow speaking it felt so long. "So your familiar is a butterfly, or these ones to be specific," He said softly, his attention back on the fluttering little creatures. How interesting. To have a butterfly as a familiar, he'd heard that a familiar could be any animal though.
"Yes. It did," He said with a weak smile. That would be a good reason to have butterflies follow you around all the time. "Illusions?" He repeated in soft question. So he could create illusions? That sounded like it could be interesting and useful. "That sounds fun," He decided with a small smile. "Illusions can become dangerous though..."

 Lyca kept his eyes on Zane, just paying attention but he saw some reactions facial wise to things he must have said. Well for him being a vampire and the fact the he could get things like that, a scent, well rather then a taste since he wasn't actually doing anything of the sort like biting him, so that was normal to him, nothing odd but maybe it made Zane uncomfortable. As for the slow speech, he was just thinking, guaging his words so he didn't say anything too out of the ordinary or that might spook Zane. At this point he was sitting back on his heels, kneeling there while their conversation continued. Nodding lightly, "Ah well..." tilting his head thinking, "I guess it is just mainly these ones, I never really thought about it before, it's just something you tend not to when this is just something you're used to on a daily basis...if that made sense," smiling a little. "Yes, illusions..." Watching what must be Zane's just process of thought about it, smiling when he mentioned it sounding fun but sighed a little about the dangerous part. Nodding a little, "It is fun, but you are right it can be dangerous...there's a lot that depends on that." He wasn't quite sure how to explain it though.

Zanezabar nodded his head at the words. At least Lyca wasn't talking slow now. He really couldn't be sure why the male was talking so slowly... Perhaps he was just thinking over his words carefully? That could be it. Though, that wasn't entirely sure. Zane was just going to put it aside in his mind. It was probably better to just ignore the odd ways of others here. After all, many people in this place were bound to be abnormal, or not human or of that like. Not like he himself was normal. He didn't even know what normal was. "Oh... I think I get it," He said softly. The butterflies? So Lyca wasn't even sure himself...? The specific butterfly type, right? Ah... If Lyca was a bit confused, it wouldn't be surprising that Zane was confused over the butterfly thing. He'd just leave it as is, saying he understood. He did, mostly.
"Well, depending on different factos an illusion has many ways to become dangerous," He said thoughtfully. "One could fall into the thought the illusions are real. That is the worst it could probably be. To have confusion as to what is reality is and what is fake..."

Lyca's lips curled into a slight smile as he heard Zane's answer, a few of the butterflies tired of flapping their wings, they landed down along his head and shoulders, just sitting there, their wings lightly flicking. He already knew the dangers of illusions, though tried his best not to have that happen, granted sometimes that didn't help no matter how cautious he was. Nodding lightly, "that is very true...no matter how cautious I may be about it, that is still possible, for someone to be sooooo...mhm," stopping, furrowing his brows trying to think of the right word for it, but sufficed with, "they become so engrossed in it." Sighing about it, "but I like to make some fun illusions...sometimes scary...people like to get that sensation at times...makes them feel alive and all." Chuckling lightly about that thought. Tilting his head a little, "so...what about you Zane. Is there something you do for a performance..." Like for this circus or whatever, curious what he did.

Zanezabar looked at the butterfly man, that being what he thought of due to the amount of butterflies floating around him as well as resting on top of him. It was amusing, since Zane didn't see butterflies behave this way very often, or really at all. So it was fun. Though, if he became friends with the male, then this would become normal to him... Right? Yeah... That would be something. He smiled a bit at the thought of having a friend, er, one with such peculiar butterfly friends fluttering about anyway... Not like he didn't have friends... Or anything like that... "Yes... Some people will stray if the fantasy is too good, I would think. When dreams are better than reality, why would you want the reality to be what is truly real?" He said softly, smiling sadly at the words he spoke. Yes. Reality was bad, so when you see things that seem so real and are better, why not pretend? Trick yourself into believing it with all your mind and heart. It was easier?
"Hm?" He hummed out the question, eyes raising from where they had drifted onto the ground. He blinked, trying to recall what the other asked. "Oh. I'm the lion tamer. I've always been exceptional with animals... Especially the tempermental ones," He said with a smile planted on his face. He did always enjoy animals. "Illusions are fun, no doubt, though!" He added on shortly after, hoping he had not offended Lyca in any way at all, he had not meant the trick was bad... Just could be dangerous. It was still really cool and fun though!

Lyca nodded, musing about that, Zane was right, but he was more interested in hearing about him now, rather then continue about himself. Wide eyed a moment, "Ooooh, That is sooo coool..." Gasping, clapping his hands together, all smiles, "Awwww, jealous, to imagine the animals you get to be around," he was a real animal lover, and it got him giddy, that subject that Zane was the animal tamer. "But, wow...I cam imagine it'd be really dangerous...considering you did mention tempermental ones...goodness...but to be around all those animals, aww I love that..." Acting a bit more excited then before, giddy.Leaning forward, on his knees and hands on the roof edge right next to Zane's body as he leaned in smiling, "what's uh....like a favorite animal you've worked with before...?"((Lol awww...well you know imma still poke ya XDD))

Zanezabar blinked in surprise at the interest in his duty in the circus. He must really like animals if he was that excited over it. He smiled a bit and laughed softly. "Yeah... It can be quite a few animals I've been given to train before in my life, but I tend to stick to the basic lions here," He said cheerfully. It was nice to know someone so interested in his job, er, act in the circus. He didn't get a lot of people who were part of the circus that were that interested in his act. It was nice! Yeah, he got some people who loved it during the circus and told him so, but normally not other circus people. "It's only dangerous if you don't understand the animals, and if you can't read them. I'm really good at understanding the animals I work with, though I'm not perfect. I still get hurt, I'm only human," He laughed out happily. He loved working with animals, the dangerous ones were the most fun!
Then Lyca was leaning into Zane. H-Huh? He blinked and looked at him a bit nervously. What..? "A favorite? I couldn't pick a favorite," He prostested softly, looking away from Lyca quickly. He fumbled a bit with his shirt's hem. He was not sure about picking out a favorite out of all the animals he had trained in the past. He loved training them all!

Having an intrigued expression, "Wow....that's good then, wouldn't want you getting hurt," making a little pout as he listened about the understanding animals part. But good that Zane seemed to be good at this. Chuckling lightly as Zane laughed out. Still all close, hearing his answer, "Mhm...well the way you sound about them all...then I can't imagine you could pick a favorite, was just wondering though. I'd love to come watch sometime if you wouldn't mind." Like not just during one of the shows.
