WHAT THE CRAP.
This LV 29 Dugtrio came out of nowhere, reduced Ferdinand to half his HP, then trapped Tsubami in a Sand Tomb, Mud-Slap'd her so so all her attacks missed, and killed her without even taking any damage!
I shut off my DS in guffaw. gonk
I'm scared of Diglett's Cave! That place is a place of horror!
I'll detour through Mt. Moon, tyvm.
Edit: I'll see about investing in some Poké Dolls, too. emo

Goddamn you're unlucky. You can also use the Dupe rule others have used - if you encounter a Pokemon you already have caught, you get another chance to look for a Pokemon in that same area.
And I HATE Digletts Cave. It's hell in the Pokeworld, I swear. I promised myself if I ever have to enter it again I'll GET OUT OF IT ASAP.

No need to curse! That's okay. I looked it up, and there's not really much I can catch on those Routes, anyway. Just Spearow, Ekans, and Rattata, and Voltorb. Although a Voltorb would have been nice. In the Rock Tunnel I could have caught a Mankey or Machop or an Onix or Geodude. Nothing of value, really.
I think I'll add Dracula to my team (if he lives). Another Poison type, but at least I know Zubat and Golbat learn moves like Bite and are extremely fast. It's risky, but he might come in handy for my battle with Sabrina if I don't find anything better beforehand.

It seems the game hates you more than me. I don't know in FireRed, but in Diamond Goldbat are naaaaaasty. If I don't kill them fast, they'll confuse me and take me down. D= That's how I lost Juno.

Yep! I catch two of everything. c:
Golbat (and Crobat) is nasty in all games, I know. lol It's just so sad I have so many Poison types. crying I love them all, but they can't all stay... sad
Also, Vadim learns Megahorn at LV 43, so that will help as well...

Hmm I have a problem.
I NEED a ground type for the next gym... I do happen to have one. But I need to switch out another team member in order to train it while I'm busy pwning Team Plasma's face. But the ones in the danger zone are Empoleon and Staraptor. And I don't like the idea of putting any of them into my PC for such a long time. @.@
Not to mention I'm going to face (and maybe capture but not use) Dialga, so I'll have to keep that in mind.
I think I'll make a list of useful-ness and decide that way.
EDIT: I've decided to put away Apollo (Roselia) for a while. Looking at all the Pokemon they can be a killer for poison types. Ironically had Apollo been a pure grass type, he would've actually stayed and Empoleon would've been boxed. xP
I'll pick up Apollo before the E4 though. biggrin

I've been spending all my time hatching eggs in HG... So my Nuzlocke has been neglected for the past few days, except for maybe thirty minutes I spent training Dracula. sweatdrop
I think I'll at least go through Rock Tunnel tonight. Maybe good training for Ferdinand (except for the Zubats). I think maybe Erika is my next gym? Idk. Dracula should come in handy for her, at any rate. smile

Ferdinand...died... D:
Killed by PokéManiac Ashton's Cubone.
Is it illegal to use a dead pokémon for an HM move outside of a battle for a little while? (In my defense, Ferdinand used Flash before he died...)
EDIT: Argh, yes, finally out of that tunnel. D:< Made it to Lavender Town. R.I.P., Ferdinand. crying

And last I checked it's not illegal. If you happen to be deep down in a cave and the only Pokemon that can get you out died, then it would be rather retarded if you were stuck there forever. Cubone's are nasty. *trauma's with Lavender Town*

I don't know if I have anyone else who can learn Flash and Cut. xd (Maybe) Probably, but I don't want to delete one of their moves... >o>
Oh well. I'm not going back in that tunnel I think.
Time to search for new team members! twisted Please let there be some routes and grass around Lavender Town. >.>
Edit: Ugh. I need Cut...Spiz will have to forget a move, I guess. At least he gets STAB from it. <.<

There are two Snorlaxes, one blocking the entrance to Cycling Road from Route 16 and the other blocking the south half of Route 12. Both are there to prevent me from getting to Fuschia City. I'll catch both of them, so Route 12 and 16 are off limits. When I get to Fuschia City, I'll get the Good Rod and go back to Vermillion City to see if I can catch a Horsea. It has a 60% encounter rate, so I have pretty high hopes...and I can try somewhere else if I don't get it (though I'll probably die if I don't reel one in...sheesh).
I wonder how long it will take me to beat Emerald if I speed through it. I think I have three badges in it right now. sweatdrop
Right now I guess I need to focus on beating Erika and Sabrina (gulp). Makes me wish I could get that Houndour sooner...I think I'll go play Emerald now. stare

Grass is weak to flying so Dracula and Aphrodite could help you there. Sabrina is a killer though. You could also try to find another bug Pokemon, if you haven't exhausted all your areas.
As for me, I need to grind again. In a cave no less. gonk I hate caves. But the people I'm going to face have Pokemon 5 levels higher than me. /siiiiiiiiigh. I hate grinding.
