She also wanted a child who looked like a descendant of Avantasia and Moloch to leave with the Sunflare, as a visceral and painful reminder of the war between the Sunflare and the Shadow. Aine was meant to be abused and abandoned and a cause of suffering. Unfortunately, while Solveig in her pain had little involvement in Aine's upbringing, Solveig's grandmother Sunniva and great-grandfather Lughnasadh dashed those plans by raising Aine with care, naming her for a goddess of love. However, since Blod outright murdered Sunniva's lifemate Jadon, the entire herd has had a harder time being able to interact with Aine again, causing Lugh to begin an active hunt for a lifemate outside of the herd for Aine, so that Aine can live a life away from her sorrowful past, and so that the entire herd can get enough distance from the event and Aine, thus allowing them to again treat Aine as a loved and valued descendant of Lughnasadh, and further foil Blod's evil plots. Parents: Unknown Siblings: Unknown Mate: None Children: None Personality: Quiet, graceful, and practical, Automata is the Baron's saner half who is quite at home in the lab and in social functions. The Baron claims he made her to be his assistant, and if so, she's quite impressive, even if she's not battle-ready, which is more typical of the Baron's crazed style. Automata certainly likes foals and being helpful, despite her outwardly automaton appearance. Her past and her true nature she's extremely secretive about, and while she considers science very highly in her worldview, she has a special reverence for the Signs, too. Automata tends to be very self-contained and doesn't talk about herself very much, if ever. History: Whatever Automata's true history is, she's disinclined to discuss it, and can consider it rude to a fault to ask. She stays very close to the Baron and assists him when and where he needs help. However, during a battle situation, the most Automata can do is protect others and not instantly go down when attacked. As the Baron has few memories of what happened in Dreamspace when they fell, and judging from the scrape marks on Automata that the Baron quickly fixed up, it can be presumed that she pulled him out of some sort of battle in Dreamspace, resulting in their Fall.
