Gil grew pale, feeling as though a knife had just been pushed through his heart. "Oz, I..." He dropped his gaze, feeling again like his younger self, afraid to speak. "...I really am trying to stop..." he said in a small voice. "I don't...I don't want Master Oz to get sick from my secondhand smoke..."

"More important that Oz-kun's sister being in danger?" Break muttered to himself. He sighed. He really didn't understand the weird dynamics between Oz and Gil. It was all too gay, even for him. But it seemed to make Sharon happy, for some reason. Changing the subject, he turned to Sharon. "So, this Christmas party...how many people have already RSVPed?"

Gilbert's cheeks flushed. "W-What are you saying?" he asked, meeting Oz's gaze. "I can't outlive you! I'm your servant!! I'm here to die in your stead!! It's my job to protect you, no matter what!! Which means..." Gil fell silent as he realized what he was saying. "...Which means I have to be with you...until the end...so I make sure you have a wonderful life..." He blushed, realizing that Oz was right. "...I promised I would stay by your side, and I will. I won't let something as dumb as cigarettes stop me." He smiled shyly.

Break smiled. "I wouldn't miss it for the world", he said, taking Sharon's hand in his and kissing the top of it lightly.

"A-ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!" Gil immediately said, totally not okay with Oz's conditions. He worried about Oz enough as it was. He didn't need Oz to pick up his bad habits.

Xerxes smiled. "Of course, milady." He would invite Elliot when he saw him at the school. There was no way Xerxes was going to the Nightray house if he could avoid it.

(( Is BreakxElliot a pairing or something?! I keep seeing fanart for them everywhere, and I don't even remember them ever meeting!!))

((Okay, good, because I was really confused. And I actually have seen a lot of BreakxElliot fanart, which makes absolutely no sense to me))

"O-Oz" Gil stammered, wanting to make sure that Oz knew he couldn't start smoking.

Alice sighed. "This better have something to do with my memories..." she said, walking with her hands behind her head.

Gil turned and followed them back to the house.

Xerxes laughed good naturedly, although it was a little forced. A contemplative veil hung over his eyes. That is, until Emily interrupted. "Break wouldn't mind marrying Liam!" Break flicked the doll's head, giving it an evil smile. "Now now, Emily, everyone knows liars burn in Hell...or in the fireplace, where they might accidently be thrown in..."

Break was a pretty private person when it came to personal matters, and he looked pretty peeved to have this kind of attention directed at him. He blushed slightly, glaring at Oz. "Stupid brats should keep to themselves", he snapped, having absolutely no patience at the moment. "And no, I'm not getting married! To Liam or to Sharon or to anyone!" He was panting now, shocked at himself for the lapse of self control. Clearing his throat, he turned away from them. "Your next mission is at the nearby academy. As you are all aware, this is where Mistress Ada attends school..."

Alice watched Break in suprise as she listened to him. She had never seen him loose his cool like that. It was odd, really...she almost liked him better now, knowing he had that side to him.

((Gahhhh, I need to buy the DVDs and the manga soon. I want them. I am so fangirling over this series right now. Dumb Pandora Hearts...had to have a bunch of beautiful, angsty men...))

"We're not really sure. There are reports of chain sightings, as well as unusual behavior among students and staff. There also appears to be *cough* something keeping everybody there...an invisible barrier or something *cough*...Pandora sent...*cough* *cough*...sent..." Xerxes fell silent as he started to cough harder, covering his mouth with his hand. He could feel blood gargling in the back of his throat as his head swum. He leaned against a nearby pillar, trying to regain his speech, but failing miserably.

Gil nodded, taking a moment to double check that his gun was loaded and ready. It was.

Break coughed one last time before his body stopped convulsing. He had a little blood on his lower lip. Quickly he wiped it away with his shirt sleeve. "...Don't die..." he told them, his voice a little weaker than normal. "...I promised Liam you'd come back in one piece..." He smiled.

Elliot was striding down the hall, sword sheath in hand. He had no idea what was going on. One moment he and Reo had been walking along: the next, his servant had stolen his sword and taken off, cackling madly. Something weird was going on. He had passed a few student who seemed more spaced out than usual. As he rounded the corner, he stopped. It was Ada. He opened his mouth to say something mean (as was custom anytime he met one of the Bezarius family), but he stopped. She was drawing flowers on the wall, with what appeared to be blood. Walking over to her, he grabbed her arm. "Ada, stop", he said firmly.
