Hotaru changed into a dark violet dress that complemented her eyes and pale skin. She looked in the mirror and turned away, walking to the door. She went out and started heading toward the ball room, quietly. She smoothed her skirts a bit, smiling at the off the shoulder dress she had. It was simple, yet still had a unique look about it. She turned a corner and wasn't looking and bumped into somebody.
"I'm so sorry!
Hotaru looked up and saw that there were four guys and then she saw Prince Endymion. She curtsied a bit.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you."

Dez_Draven Makoto smiled. Seeing Serenity so happy could make anyone smile. "I think we need to get going before we're late to the ball." She took Serenity's wrist and led her to the door. Serenity giggles as she is being led out the door by Makoto. She was probably right, they would be late if they didn't hurry. Careful not to step on her dress she quickly walks down the hall. In a very Princess like manner she slightly lifts her dress she as she desends the staircase. Mostly it was so she wouldn't trip and fall down them. She thought she was hearing voices as she reaches the bottom of the staircase. Her curiosity has her wondering who it could be. "Who do you suppose that could be? It sounds like Princess Hotaru, but I don't recognize the other voices."

"I'm sorry for bumping into you."Nephrite looked at the girl suspiciously. "And who might you be?" He stepped protectively in front of Endymion. The other three generals likewise took defensive positions. There had been rumbles of unrest on Earth as of late, and all of them had been trained to attack first, ask questions later. Endymion studied the girl a moment, then his eyes opened wider in recognition. He'd been studying the latest photographs of all the princesses before the ball, to prevent a misunderstanding. "Stand down, men. This is Princess Hotaru, am I correct milady?"

Hotaru blushed a bit and nodded.
"Yes I am. Would you be Prince Endymion?"
Hotaru smiled a bit at the protective nature of the generals around him.
"You do not need to worry about me harming your Prince. I do not have the strength nor the stanima to do so, at least not without being in my senshi form."
She blushed a bit and looked down shyly.

Endymion smiled at Hotaru and bowed. "I am indeed Prince Endymion, and these are my generals Nephrite, Malachite, Jadeite and Zoicite." Each general bowed as their name was mentioned, then relaxed slightly.
"You will have to forgive us, Princess Hotaru," Jadeite said. "It's been hard for us to relax lately."
"Do you by chance know the way to the ballroom?" Malachite asked.

Hotaru smiled gentally, "It has been a trying time for all of us....well most of us. As for the ball room, yes, I was heading that way. If you want, I can show you the way."

All that she can hear now are footsteps leading away from where they are. It must have been some lost guests for the party. Serenity continues to wonder who it might have been as they walk along the corridor towards the ballroom."Oh well seems that they have already left."

"Your help is greatly appreciated," Jadeite replied, remaining in the lead by walking alongside Princess Hotaru. Malachite, Endymion, Nephrite, and Zoicite followed suit, with Nephrite rolling his eyes at Jadeite's attempt at flirting. Endymion heard some footsteps behind them and looked, but saw no one and figured the sound was merely the echo of his own steps.

Hotaru raised an eyebrow at Jedite and giggled softly.
"Here we are. I suppose I will be seeing you in the ballroom."
She curtsied and moved away from them, waiting her turn to be announced. She was nervous, not knowing the reaction from the princesses from Uranus and Neptune, and even Pluto. She sighed softly and nervously fiddled with a bit of lace.

To Princess Serenity it seemed as if they were walking for an eternity. She was beginning to feel a bit anxious as they neared the ballroom. It had been a long time since she made such an appearance before so many people. The dress she was wearing wasn't helping her to feel comfortable at all.
Taking a deep breath she tries to remember to stay focused. It was then that she realized that Hotaru was standing just outside the ballroom doors. Smiling she walks up to the younger girl, "Princess Hotaru, you look wonderful in your dress. Are you nervous? I know I sure am...perhaps we can sneak into the kitchens and get a treat before we have to make our appearances."

Hotaru looked grateful at Serenity's arrival.
"I am a bit nervous, but I don't think your mother would approve of you sneaking away to get a snack *giggles* before being introduced. Especially seen as this ball is being held in your honor."
Hotaru smiled at the lunar princess and giggled a bit. She had began to think that this ball was going to be a disaster, but with Serenity-hime talking to her, she felt safer, more accepted. Part of her wondered if the princess knew who Hotaru was truely and if she would accept her then also.

Serenity thinks about what Hotaru said and giggles, "You're probably right about that. However, I'm sure we have plenty of time before everyone else gets here. I don't think all of the other Princesses have even arrived yet. A small sample couldn't hurt...could it?" She looks over at Makoto making puppy dog eyes, "What do you think? Can we?"

Princess Michiru sighed once more. Not waiting for a reply from Haruka or Maemei she grabs her wrap placing it over her shoulders. "Well, let's go and get this over with. The sooner we get there the sooner we can leave. At least there is a party involved after all the formalities are finished." The princess of Neptune turns walking out the door of her quarters knowing that the other two would follow her out.

Makoto had been walking alongside Serenity without saying a word. Despite her efforts to hide it, she was very nervous about meeting all the new faces. She could get incredibly shy, especially around guys, and she had no clue what Prince Endymion and his generals were like. She was snapped out of her thoughts by Serenity's comment about getting a pre-entrance snack. "Nani? Oh, nobody'll mind- if we don't get caught." A mischevious glint came into her eyes as she led the way to the kitchens.

Reluctantly, Haruka and Maemei followed behind Michiru on their way to the ballroom. "Yeah there'll be a party, but it'll probably be really boring," Maemei commented softly. "I vote for making an appearance and then ducking out as soon as we can."

Hotaru looked at the two princesses with a incredulous look. She giggled then smiled.
"Well, Princess Serenity, if you order me, I have no way to say no...."
She giggled a bit, relaxing more.
