Raiden smiled at Danielle, chuckling a bit, when he began the whole loved to be hurt thing. "You're quite a strange one, my darling." He trailed his finger under Dante's chin and scratched it lightly. But, that was soon caught completely off guard when the man's hand was placed to his chest. He instinctively flexed it with the touch and took a small gulp. This was just so awkward, and so early! He stood there, trying to find the words to say in response to that. "Umm, well. You will be staying for a few nights. So, we'll have plenty of time. It's just my sister's in the other room. I'll make sure you get your..." He wrapped his arm around the lower back of Danielle and held him tightly against his mostly naked body for the last word. "...fill." Oh, how he loved to throw naughty little innuendos in, and he was feeling slightly rambunctious and took his index finger to lift up Dante's shirt and then placed his cigarette gently on his lower back. Not hard enough to extinguish his precious drug, but enough to sting. "Now, I'm gonna get me some lunch. Have you ate?" He smacked Dante's butt before turning into the kitchen and opening up the fridge.

Dante was putty in Raiden's hands. The way he was speaking, his actions, it was hot as hell. The burning sting of a cigarette, not to mention the butt smack? Ill be getting my fill.. oh please.. now lets do it now. I dont think i can wait. I might loose it where i stand. Danielle's eyes begged Raiden for more punishment, the little bit Raiden had given him had him flushing crimson all over and biting back a moan of pleasure. He wanted to tear into the man, make him ******** him right here in the... where were they? Dante didnt care, all that mattered was that he was in Raiden's arms. His lip quivered out of pleasure and he nodded slowly to Raiden's last statement, lost in a pleasurable haze.
"Okay... Whatever you want." Danielle said gently not realizing it was an actual question. He was still lost in swooning over what Raiden had just done and said to him. It didnt matter that Raiden didnt say he loved him back. The man was showing his deep caring through the affection he was giving Danielle. When Raiden pulled away Dante was knocked back to his senses.. just enough. "Oh i mean.. i cant remember honestly. Probably not. I.. tend to loose track of time and such things, lately." Dante said gently. He followed after Raiden into the kitchen.
"Do.. do you want me to cook? You can wash up, not that i dont like how you stink, cause i do. But.. well its up to you. I could clean too while im here." Dante said looking around the place. It could use a womans touch.. his touch to be exact.

-Year 5, Summer?- The phone at Raiden's house was ringing. Or rather Raiden's cellphone was ringing. And on the other line was a nervous, upset, heartbroken Drag queen.

_______________________________________↙↙ Picking at the brainstell your momma that women are all the same... Zelynity was still perched on the edge of the couch cushion and twisting the cord awkwardly between her long fingers. She wanted to apologize about obviously offending him, but she got too caught up in the way he obviously was not following what she was going for her. That made the entire thing all the more awkward. She grew silent, thinking of someway to explain to him what she wanted. "Well I guess what I'm trying to ask is..." and he said it! "YESSSS!" Oh gosh. Her hand that wasn't wrapped up in the phone cord instantly flew to cover her mouth. She had screamed far too loud, shown too much excitement. This wasn't going as smoothly as it did when she ran it over in her mind... She cleared her throat awkwardly, "I mean, yes. That's what I meant by that. You aren't too busy are you?" She was twirling her fingers even more quickly now and more nervously. Goddess, this never seemed like it would be this awkward in theory.
Luckily for her, there was a small distraction across the room with Raiden's cell phone ringing. "Umm, excuse me, Jacob. My brother's phone is ringing. I'll be right back." She laid the phone down on the arm of the couch and uncoiled herself, hoping to reach the phone before the person hung up. She kind of felt bad about leaving Jacob there like that, especially since he didn't have any reason to not hang up. How long had it been since they last talked, after all. But, this could be something important. Raiden didn't get very many calls. Maybe someone was hurt, like that cute girl Haruka! That would be awful! She took a few deep breaths as she walked across to the other side. It's not like this could be any more awkward than what was waiting on the other phone, but it could be a lot sadder. As much as she hated herself for thinking it, this better not ruin her plans. She never quite understood why her brother didn't take his phone with him when he went drinking, apparently it was too much of an inconvenience. She rolled her eyes at the thought of his stupid habits. But, she couldn't bother herself with trying to change him, that just ended in ugly fights.
She grabbed the phone off of the little end table and looked to see who it was. Dante Tepes?! Ohhhh this would be fun. She waited before answering, thinking of how exactly she should go about torturing the person that caused her brother so much anguish. Sure, she didn't know everything about their had been relationship, but she had worked enough out of the mopey Raiden to know that something bad happened between them. Something that had been going on for awhile, this was the same person that had been in their house a long time ago. The one she tried to strangle... If it wasn't for the fact that she was terrified, she probably wouldn't have remembered. But, the important facts to bring from this is that she knew damn well who was on the other end of that line and she wanted to make this as painful for them as possible. Even though she was the younger of the Niami's, she enjoyed nothing more than to stick up for her brother. The best part of this was that he wouldn't know.
She took another deep breath and cleared her throat quickly before pressing the little answer button. She placed the phone against her cheek and turned to stare at the other phone that had her friend that was waiting. "Uhhm, hellooooo~?" Her voice was as high as it would go without sounding completely fake and she added a little airy tone. She suspected Raiden's love interest to be a dumb girl, anyway. Yes, that was right. She was no longer Zelynity Niami, junior detective extraordinaire. She was Stacey Brooks, lover to Raiden Niami. Hmm... That was a bit awkward to think about. She was so into making this sound as believable as possible that she had her opposite hand flowing threw the air like she couldn't be bothered with anything else. She should really start taking up acting. She was practically undetectable, especially to some dumb drag queen that had only seen her once and barely heard her voice then. Yes, this was a bulletproof plan. One that better be accomplished quickly, she had plans to make it and it was growing darker by the second.

Dante's breath hitched on the other end. A girls voice? A perky girl had answered the phone. Had Raiden moved on so easily? Of course he had, if a frown and near tears could be felt through the phone it would have at this point. Dante was filled with heartbreak again. So their time together, whatever it was, meant nothing to Raiden. Thats all he needed to have answered. And hearing a womans voice on the other end, not realizing it was Raiden's sister, Dante was sure Raiden had found someone new.
"Oh.. hi.. i.. just wanted- Is Raiden there?" Dante asked gently before he paused only to correct himself. "No, im sure he isnt, or he doesnt want to talk to me. Just.. take a message for him if you could. Its Dante.. i just wanted to say to him that.. " Dante swallowed hard could tears come through the phone? "...Im sorry i wasnt what he wanted. And i understand now.. that.. whatever was between us.. meant nothing." Dante said as his breath hitched again and he sniffled some. "...I-I hope he has a nice life and.. one day he'll make some woman really happy." Dante said softly. "Tell him not to feel bad about running out like that.. It was my fault for not being what he wanted... um.. im sorry.. again. Thats all.. I doubt he'd want to talk to me anyways, so he doesnt have to. Sorry.. b-bye." Dante choked out before hanging up the phone.

..Wow. Jacob, well away from the Niami residence in his snug, little room up in the old church, arched an eyebrow as he held the phone a few centimeters from his ear with that screamed 'yes' at his answer. ..Was it normal for girls to react like that when inviting their gay best friend over? Jacob wasn't really sure and the only two people he knew that could possibly answer that were either on his hate list or avoid at all costs list, so he had to rely on his old noggin for this one! ..Unfortunately for the boy, his noggin got him into more problems than he would ever admit, so it wasn't really the best thing to rely on.. But, try to convince him of that!
Jacob continued on in his thoughts, blissfully unaware of how delusional he most probably already was without spending time to advance on it with thinking, and came to the conclusion that yes. Yes, Zelynity was being a normal girl who was excited to have a male best friend that wasn't interested in sex whatsoever because gay guys just didn't want to have sex with a girl. A part of his new lifestyle that still baffled him, but, hey, he was getting some perspective here! At one point, he was completely certain that girls were just as into p***s plus v****a time as much as he was, hence why he spent more time trying to get into his girlfriend's pants rather than talking with her.. Probably why they were on the verge of breaking up even before his self-discovery. But, that wasn't him now! No, now Jacob knew that girls liked talking and holding hands even more than screwing! They treasured friends like him more than any normal guy! Why else would she be so excited?
..He just wished he was still straight so he could use that knowledge to maybe get a better, more stable source of sexual pleasure relationship. He guessed he could just find a gay guy to do that with? If the bottoms were basically disgusting, disfigured, and dreadful 'girls', then he was sure that he could have a fulfilling non-sexual relationship.. Well, as fulfilling as another man could be. He frowned at himself and nodded absently as Zelynity excused herself, forgetting for a second that he was on the phone and Zelynity couldn't possibly hear a nod. Thankfully, he hurriedly squeezed out a, “Uh, yeah, cool, alright!” before she left, following it with a breath – ah.. He probably should have just said 'bye' rather than force himself to sit there and wait for her to come back. Not that he thought she would forget him – how could she with a squeal like that? – but, he knew girls now! He wouldn't doubt she would start gabbing away to whoever was on her brother's phone right now! He shook his head and simply went to cleaning up his first dinner while he waited for her.

_______________________________________↙↙ Picking at the brainstell your momma that women are all the same... Zelynity was pretty shocked at how quickly Dante was speaking and trying to get this over with. She had her hand placed high on her hip in that whole b***h way, or at least what she thought it should look like. It was a lot more just like stupid, but she was trying to get into the character. "If you need him he's-- okay." She clicked the little end button and laid the phone back down on the end table. Well that was not what she was expecting. She'd just have to invest in a wig and some new clothes and walk around with Raiden acting like Stacey. Ooo oo, or maybe she could be something to use at M&Ms. An alter ego was always a good thing to have anyway. She couldn't really bother herself to worry about any of those things he rambled on about. She'd just tell Raiden he called and ruined her evening. Then she could watch Raiden freak out while complaining about his hangover that he'd surely have. She turned on her heel, walking back to the couch moving her arms around all silly like. She was so excited about her devious little plan, and just had to get some of the energy out before sitting back down.
She took a deep breath and picked the phone back up. She held the phone back up to her ear, crossed her legs and then placed her other hand on her knee. "Jacob? Hey. I'm back. So, do you, uh, wanna come over? If you're busy, it's fine. I was just thinking since we haven't seen much of each other lately and I have all this extra food. But, I understand either way." She tapped her fingers against her knee. She was becoming more and more aware of how much of a dumb-y she was sounding. Her lip had found it's way to her teeth and she was chewing the heck out of it. It was just Jacob, why was she being so stupid. She was continuously screaming stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID in her head. But, amidst all the internal screaming, she held her breath and hoped that he'd be on his way.

Jacob had just finished tossing the food and dishes in a black garbage bag as his means of cleaning up – what? He didn't have any sink to wash in! He had to use the damned river if he just wanted a bath.. Or, more likely, go to Gladice's or the gym for a shower. Hey, he had a membership just like anyone else and it wasn't like it was unusual to shower at a gym! Anyway, the point of the matter was that Jacob didn't have any way to wash the dishes and he wasn't going to make a trip to the river or Gladice's while he was on hold by a friend. So, the man had diligently waited with a tied up trash bag and a phone to his ear, seated on the bed because there was hardly much else to sit on. He was about to shift his eyes from the wall to his left to stare at the wall to his right instead when Zelynity picked up the phone again. It surprised him, honestly – he had thought he would have to wait until he was staring at his ceiling until she came back!
Though, instead of praising her or even making a sexist quip on how she must be hiding a p***s for getting back to him so quick, he ended up with a confused, “Uh?” He thought he had already said yes to that – or.. hadn't he..? Actually.. he didn't! He just was going to when she left and.. ah, yeah, he was happy he hadn't ditched to just walk to the house. He didn't know what confusion he would come across if she had thought he turned her down by hanging up when he went up to her door. He gave a quick nod on the other side of the phone, though she honestly couldn't see the action. Ah, well, blame him for hardly using a phone! Who did the local priest have to call, really? Unless he opened a 24/7 confession hotline for the people of Nirvani.. but, he had doubts that that would go very well. “No, yeah – I'll be there.” He said and, without any more, he hung up. That was all they needed to say, right? There didn't need to be a 'bye' since they were going to see eachother soon anyway so.. Yeah, he was done thinking about that. He cleared his throat and, taking the garbage bag in hand, decided to head out.
It was about half an hour, give or take some time, before Jacob had made it to Zelynity's house. He would have been there quicker had he not decided to pause at Gladice's house to consider whether it would look bad if he returned the food she had just given him in a garbage bag. Lucky for him, he decided that making a pit stop at Yoakim's would be the better idea and had spent a good few minutes washing the dishes and throwing out the food before heading back out again to the Niami's. He stopped in front of one of the few brick homes in Sonata town and hesitated for a moment.. or, rather, he checked himself out in the window to make sure he didn't look like utter crap. Hey, he had a role to fill! And if he learned anything from TV, his own misconceptions, and.. Kade, it was that gay guys took care of themselves! He was her gay best friend and he had to look sexy, just so she could go, “Damn, why are they always gay?” ..Then he could agree with a sigh and probably go home to cry about his sexuality, but, that was later. For now, he just knocked on the door and waited.

Considering it was summer time, Jacob was surprised at how cold it was outside. But, by the clouds in the sky and the fact it was getting to be rather dark, he would say a mixture of weather and lack of sunlight had to do with that. He adjusted his robes again, frowning as he wondered if, maybe, he should have changed his clothes before going to have a friendly dinner date with a girl. Sure, he knew that Zelynity wasn't anyone to impress – yeah, she was a girl and, true, he was trying to look decent enough to be still considered a 'gay friend' and not a 'ugly guy who can't get a date and thus labels self as a different sexuality in hope to garner someone's attention'. Odd label, but Theresa could get wordy when she was drunk – instead of that whole 'can't talk for s**t' thing most intoxicated people did, the woman just didn't shut up or know how to simplify whatever she wanted to say, while Jacob didn't like messing with someone's words. If they said something, then, damn it, he was going to remember it exactly how it was said so no one could claim he was rewording or mishearing something should an argument arise around it. He gave a brisk nod to himself as he looked at a window to study his reflection again, this time his eyes on his apparel. ..A priest's garb wasn't really casual, was it? He made a face at himself – Goddess, did he really care about his clothes now? Didn't Kevin say he didn't have to..
..Kevin.. He swallowed and looked back at the door stiffly. Whatever promises he had made the poor guy, he didn't feel like thinking about him right then. He only had to act mature and wise in the church, Goddess, not when he was hanging out! He crossed his arms firmly and forced himself to not think of something that had nothing to do with Zelynity and her skirt – … The door had opened and, as Jacob was about to greet Zelynity, the sound died on his lips with a look down. She was in a skirt? Him and Zelynity hadn't hanged out in awhile, yeah, but.. last he remembered, she was more of a jeans and nice shirt sort of person, not wearing something to show her legs off! Nice pair of legs too – though she didn't seem used to holding them in that position period. He looked back up at her with a raised brow, ready to tell her she could relax; it wasn't like he was straight – “Uh – Zel!” That shout, unfortunately, wasn't one in scolding for her teasing his homosexuality, especially after he had made it clear multiple times he wasn't awesomely straight like he wished, but, instead, it was a cry in panic. In her awkward position against the door, she had somehow managed to slip backward and, before he could unfold his arms to snatch her before she hit the floor, she landed flat on her behind.
So, there was Jacob, leaning forward, hand outstretched, and eyes open wide in surprise. Then there was Zelynity, sitting in a mess on the ground, probably in a mix of shock and pain, with her legs spread and bent to show the oddest pair of underwear he had seen. It wasn't Zelynity's fault, really – Jacob hadn't exactly been with many girls before Caprice and said ex was more conservative with her underwear. The only time he ever saw something flashy or cute, it was in a store or, creepily enough, Kade's closet. But, he only took maybe half a second observing the decorative panties of blue, yellow, and black – was that a painting? – before his mind turned south. Oh, yes, gay as he was, he couldn't stop himself from knowing that, what lay between him and Zelynity's 'secret garden', was a thin fabric and maybe twenty seconds of lifting robes and dropping pants. This knowledge would normally just lead to an awkward turn away and cough, but.. Jacob was on the edge with relations. What? He was a healthy young man who hadn't done anything without guilt or some kind of thought to ruin it! So, he stood there, flushed, trying to control his breathing, and honestly wondering if maybe, just maybe, he could have.. have one little try, then call it quits. He hadn't had one last go with Caprice before he dumped her and.. and he missed it..
But. But, but, but.. He grit his teeth and pulled his eyes back up to Zelynity's, leaning forward to take one of her arms. With a hard swallow and a mental stifle of his cries in regret at passing up that opportunity, he tugged her back up to her feet easily enough. She hardly weighed enough to give him any trouble, after all. “Goddess, Zel, I'd hate to see you walk out in heels or something.” He commented exasperatedly, though the tone was due to himself rather than her clumsiness. Goddess, thinking he could have 'one last try' – what was wrong with him? Zelynity was nice enough to be friendly to him despite his condition and here he wanted to screw it up! He would need to go beg the Goddess forgiveness the moment this was done! He let go of her the moment she was upright again and quickly set his hands to himself, not wanting to get her infected with his gayness either. He didn't know if only lesbians could transfer it to women or what, but he didn't want to take the risk. “..Hey.” He offered as the belated greeting with a look back to her, a small quirk of his lips as he went on, “So.. spaghetti?”

_______________________________________↙↙ Picking at the brainstell your momma that women are all the same... Zelynity was happy to be back on her feet. Her face was almost the same color as her hair and she was trying to get her breathing normal without awkwardly opening her mouth like some overheated dog. She pushed the door open farther and waved her hand in a motion to let him in. She was glad that his mind was concerned mainly with the food. She shut the door once he came in and walked into the kitchen, reluctant to say anything. The plates were all already sat out along with the silverware. She motioned for him to sit and then began serving some of the spaghetti onto the plate in front of him then went over to hers to do the same. She moseyed back over to the counter and grabbed both smaller bowls that had the salads. She was thankful that she had already got the dressing out. With the way she was acting, she probably would have spilled it all over his nice robes. But, maybe that would've been a good plan. That way he'd have to take them off while she washed them. She sat down across from him and eyed his body all over, trying to tell if he had clothes on under it. She knew if she had to wear something like that, she'd totally be naked under there. Freedom.
She took a bite of her salad, her eyes still plastered on him. She was so consumed with curiosity that she hadn't even noticed how rude she was being. She began to blush again and quickly grabbed another bite. She really hoped that her cooking was just so good that he wouldn't care about any of this. She had never felt this odd around Jacob before, it was always so casual and fun with him. But, now, it all felt pushed and controlled. Maybe she was trying too hard. She tried to calm herself down mentally. She needed to say something at least, they couldn't just sit hear in silence and stuff their faces. "So, Jacob. How have you been? It feels like forever since we last did anything together. Well, not that we ever did anything like hoohoo or something." Her eyes grew about ten times the normal size as she finished that sentence. What was she thinking?! She was just going to blow it all. He'd know something was up, he kind of knew her, right? Or did guys ever really pay attention? Wait, no. That rule only applied to straight men. Which Jacob was not, even though those muscles were sooo straight and made her happy that she was straight. But, wait. Why should they do that? She shouldn't be happy that she's straight when she's attracted to a gay man. That's not how the circle of life worked.
She took a deep breath and began kicking her legs awkwardly under the table. She was never more happy to have a tablecloth covering up the childish antics that were actually beginning to make her calm down. She smiled up at Jacob and took another bite. She couldn't help but hope that he had completely ignored the last part of her statement to him and only focused on telling her how he was. She smiled at him again, wait. Hadn't she just done that? Goddess, hanging out with gay boys was so hard.

-Carnation-
//TotalTimeParadoxBoysandGirls. Hyacinth would be proud. She was in good time this year~ Carnation gleamed at that thought, before remembering who she had right now. Raiden... He had lived to the name douche, and she couldn't be more disappointed in him. There was a good chance he was next to Mitsuke on the failure scale. Humans... how could they be so... odd? Well she wouldn't ponder on that anymore and wander inside the home. Hopefully that thing they kept around wasn't awake. It tended to eat what she brought every year... Soon enough Carnation was at Raiden's room, stopping by a chair in the room and leaving a letter addressed to Raiden Niami with a very small pumpkin cupcake next to it... maybe she should've put a raisin sized pebble in it... Whatever, she had other houses to visit!
Dear Raiden...
Through all these years, I still don't know what the heck goes on in your mind... I do know you are still a health hazard! And even worse a douche bag! ...Yup a stupid douche! Haven't I told you alcohol doesn't solve anything? I know, I know, a huge misunderstanding on both parts, but the least you can do is set things straight (poor choice of words here) with the guy... even if it was more so his fault or something... You know what you two are both stupid! You're lazy, and moping and if you can't get over this that you got yourself into then you don't deserve my back up! Now quit your moping and do something with your life! In fact tell your boss to give you a tattoo saying 'I'm a douche and I'm freeeeeee!!' from... wherever it hurts more so you can prove you're a man! NOW.
From your fiery leader...

Lily was beginning to feel a little more confident about her pacing by the time she reached the Niami household, and so she slowed down somewhat, at least enough to take a quick glance around Zelynity's room. She had been living on the island for years now, and still Lily didn't know much about her! Her investigating would have to wait, however, because she still have an obligation to the other households. And so, she moved over to the girl's desk and sat down a large, rectangular wicker basket, overflowing with hydrangeas that were almost as pink as Zelynity's hair. A contrasting blue envelope was nestled against the flowers, Zelynity's name written in fine, neat handwriting.
Hmm, Zelynity. I don't know what to make of you. Certainly, this has been a much better year for you than others, and I suppose I'm proud of you for that. You seem to really be enjoying work, haven't you? And you've been very kind to people this year, I've seen. But you need more friends, put that kindness to work! Have you ever met Aniela? Gentle girl. Or Amanda? I'm sure they'd all be glad to be your friend. I hope to see more of you this upcoming year, I see a lot of potential in you, you know!

Salad and spaghetti – eh, so, well, Gladice's food was probably better.. But, the old woman had experience on Zelynity! After all, she was one of the judges at the cooking contest and, if those secondhand stories from Theresa on Yoakim's eating habits were true.. Then she truly had every opportunity to master more than a cookbook's worth of dishes. So, yeah, simple as it was, he couldn't dare compare Zelynity's cooking to something as hearty and perfect as Gladice's meals! He had absolutely no thoughts of the food he threw out for this dinner and, as he took a bite, that became all too true – but not because of his own willpower. Oh, hell no – it was due to Zelynity. A noodle or two poked out of his mouth, the fork resting against his tongue before he pulled the entire bite off of it, frozen as he took in what she said. 'Hoohoo'. Hoohoo? Did Zelynity even know what the meant? She had lived on the island for a good amount of time and he wasn't sure where she grew up as he hadn't taken the time to ask her about that. Just like he hardly mentioned his own time in the States because that would have lead to him talking about his girlfriend or, even worse, his family.. then Kade.. Yeah, he wasn't going to start on a grim topic like that.
Considering his lack of knowledge on Zelynity's life, there could be the chance that she had no clue what 'hoohoo' meant for him. That thought somehow settled him from staring dumbly at her to actually eating the spaghetti, although he hardly tasted it. Even if she didn't mean it, it did pose the question of whether she actually thought of that with – ah.. haha, no, she wouldn't. Jacob frowned at himself, but finding some kind of bitter amusement in it nonetheless. He swallowed and lowered his eyes from the ceiling to look at her smiling at him. Twice. Well, she looked better than that doe-eyed stare she was giving him seconds ago.
He took another forkful as he confirmed that to himself, waiting until he swallowed that down as well before replying to her. “..Yeah, uh.” What did she ask again? ...Oh, yeah, right. “..Cool. I'm good. We, uh, had a few new people at the church – you know Milinda?” He told her as he prodded at his spaghetti, glancing at the salad and wondering if the 'rabbit food' was worth his attention or not. “She's the sister to that guy who was in the news a few years back.” He avoided labeling him as 'that dead guy' out of some form of respect, though it was hard to tell Zelynity exactly who he was talking about. 'That guy' wasn't much easier to go off of. He just had to trust she paid attention to the news and.. remembered it. “Been coming in regularly. And, uh, new guy came too – once. ..Reed? He was boring.” He hesitated and swallowed, despite the lack of food to do so with. “Sorta cute.” Oh, Goddess, he still felt nervous just saying that! But, that was what Zelynity was for. To practice getting used to all of.. this. He finally decided to stab some lettuce, “You? Anything new?”
